Oracle attempts to reimport job definitions as well. However, if you have an existing job with the same JOB_ID, the job definition fails (as there is a Unique Constraint on it).
So, one "workaround" is to precreate dummy jobs before the import (which also means that the database account must be created in advance). To ensure that the JOB_ID is the same, you may have to keep incrementing the JOB_ID sequence.

Well , you won't go for shopping when there are already guests in your home , will you? In case, that didn't make much sense, I meant that you won't start reading books, pdfs, looking at websites when you are going to have an interview already scheduled for you. I can bet my money( whatever little I have) that even doing this, won't bring you any good. If your question directly or indirectly is related to the questions that the interviewer may ask, once again, this would be a total wrong approach to go for an interview. In almost no time, it can be find out whether you are speaking some crammed line or from yourself. I had a chance to sit on the other side of the hot seat and the guy in front of me was giving all teh bookish answers. I twisted the questions and I was sure that he must have not read them anywhere, guess what happened. he started fumbling and finally gave up.
Interview is what you know, what you have done so far. Its not to start picking up LOTS of books, looking for the questions/answers and just think that the interview will happen from that only. I have some questions whose answers, at least the complete answers , you won't find anywhere. My suggestion is to just go for the interview, be honest about what you know and more about , what you don't know. You haven't committed a crime by not knowing some thing. I know nothing and I am never scared from the interviews ;-) .

You cannot create a second XE database on the same server.
But, Oracle database can support as many Schema as you want.
"Oracle database" is like "SQL Server Instance" and "Oracle Schema" is like "SQL Server database". I means by this shortcut that for
the end users accessing to different Schemas looks like accessing to different databases.
You can have several applications on the same database. Each application has its own Schema and Datafile (Tablespace) structure.
So on your XE database you can add a new Tablespace and create a new User/Schema as follows:
sqlplus /nolog
connect / as sysdba
create tablespace {color:red}new_tablespace_name{color}
extent management local autoallocate
SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO
datafile '{color:red}complete_datafile_name{color}' size 100M autoextend on next 10M maxsize unlimited;
create user {color:red}new_schema_name{color} identified by {color:red}password{color}
default tablespace {color:red}new_tablespace_name{color}
temporary tablespace TEMP
quota unlimited on {color:red}new_tablespace_name{color}
grant connect, resource to {color:red}new_schema_name{color};Then you can connect to this new User/Schema as you defined it and create your new structure and load datas.

We have to set up a scenario for sending "Customer returned" products from branches to Central DC through STO. But we do not want GATP check for these STOs, as they are Customer Returns, which need to analyze at CDC for further actions. We are using SCM 7.0 and ECC 6.0

In many ways, Sybase (and therefore it's derivative SQL Server) use the term 'database' in a similar way to Oracle's 'schema'. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, when a person wants to migrate from SQL Server to Oracle and asks this question, they will be happy simply to create a schema.
In Oracle terms, a schema is a named collection of database objects (tables, indexes, stored procedures, etc.). The confusing part is that the 'name' is simply the Oracle user that is designated the owner (or adminstrator) of that collection.
So, all you need to do is create a user designated to own the collection; give that user the privileges to create the object; start creating the objects; grant permission to other users to access those objects.
The most painful difference for a Microsoft specialist is the 'granting permission to access'. Oracle takes the 'unix' view of security - provide minimum access and explicitly grant as required, whereas Microsoft products (or at least typical Microsoft product administrators) by default tend to use the 'grant access and use restrictions when required' approach.
Oracle's approach to access and security seems to 'create roles, grant them appropriate access, assign users to those roles'. The benefit is accountability. The drawback is extra administration.

I have the Planning Strategy Group set to 81 in the material master, but it didnt create the planned orders.

At the "Requir. Classes" (OVZG) customizing screen, field "Automatic start of make-to-order in background mode" affects the automatic planning. See fields help doc. below.
    If you select this indicator, the system automatically carries out
    single-item, multi-level planning for a sales order if a sales order
    item is either created or changed.
    This function can only be used for make-to-order production.
So check out the Req. Cl that yr Req. type (req. type is part of a strategy).

Window oracle job scheduler and Oracle server scheduler relationship

We use oracle 10G R4 in window 2003 server.
From window server panel,we can see OracleJobSchedulerORCAID server is disable. However, I check oracle Jobs from EM.
I can saw schedule jobs are running in there.
What relationship is between window scheduler server and Oracle Schdeler?
As I know we can stop/start window Oracle database serve,r DBconsle EM server and Listener server in window server to control oracle
.Why window oracle schedule does not affect Oracle schdule job?

10g R4 is not an existing Oracle version. 10.2.0.4 is.
Oracle EM has three different schedulers:
- dbms_job
- dbms_scheduler
- EM's own scheduler. Jobs submitted in the EM scheduler are spawned by the Management Agent.

How to not create Lightroom duplicate when editing in Photoshop

When I choose to Edit in Photoshop from within Lightroom 3, the edited copy is added to Lightroom. This might sometimes be useful, but I want to choose whether or not the edited copy is added to lightroom.
How can I make this choice?

That's not my experience - maybe I've got some setting wrong somewhere.
I have two categories of images in Lightroom: DNG files originating from digital camera Raw files, and files which are PSD that were scanned from old photos.
Opening the DNG files in Photoshop then selecting "Save As" does not make the duplicate in Lightroom PROVIDED I have "As a copy" checked. But then the copy is not the file that's currently open so I have go find the copy and open it to do any work on it.
Opening PSD files from Lightroom in Photoshop, the duplicate is created immediately the file opens in Photoshop unless I select the "Edit original" option. But even then, if I subsequently use Save As within Photoshop, the copy appears in Lightroom.
My version of Lighrtoom is 3.4.1
My version of Photoshop is CS5.1

woodwing seems to have a nice toolset to make it easier for sure... but I'm not sure that is the correct direction for
us. As we don't want to have to submit anything to Apple. Our needs are for internal use only and we would not be creating content for the public.
I don't follow the ePup process fully... PDF's we can load right onto the iPad. It's a real shame about flash not working as we can make some very slick flash content right out of indesign with little effort. (maybe the direction should be a Flash to HTML5 converter? Goto page commands assigned to buttons would be wonderfull if they worked but when you export the doc to PDF Acrobat complains that it is not compatible. When we export to flash it works like a charm on a PC.
Haven't found a good gudie for bookmarks yet... and if that would give us buttons on each page to move the user back and forth through the document.

How to exclude the note field when importing vCard into into Address Book?

I am trying to get my contacts from Lotus Notes (Windows) to my Mac Address Book so I can get them to my iPhone. (I know .. it's a bit klugey, but I had to have an iPhone.) When I export the contacts in vCard 3.0 format, send them to my gmail account, and import them into the Mac Address book, it includes odd info in the note field like "CHARSET: windows-1252". I'd like to exclude notes from all addresses without having to go into each individual one in Address Book and delete the notes field. Any ideas?

Hi,
here an example.
When I use the method CL_SRM_XML_REC_INSTANCE->IF_SRM_XML_POID~GET_ALL( POID_TAB COUNT_USER_REST COUNT_POID_AUTH ).
When I used the user with no right for viewing the invisible nodes I get no elements in the tabelle POID_TAB and 38 in the value COUNT_USER_REST.
So did any one know a solution you can I create a nodes and change the restriction for the new node with the normal user?

How to keep your forum Userid when changing Oracle SSO accounts?

I have one SSO account which is linked to my forum user TimW. Does anyone know how I can move this forum account to another Oracle SSO account without changing the forum handle or losing any of the post history?

Thanks for the advice. But I already have another SSO account. The old one is linked to my account in this forum and the new one is linked to all sorts of other stuff, like MoS etc! I can't change the name of the old SSO account as the system says the new address already exisits. I guess my only options are a) to delete the new account and then change the old one, or b) stick with both accounts. Unless you have any other suggestions ....
