    Try looking at this link, it's long but there's three different solutions discussed in it. If you look at Barbara Boehmer's

  • How to Export to Excel a Dynamic Node?

    Hi all,
    I would to know how it's possible to export in Excel a dynamic Node, created in the wdDoModify() method.
    I'd seen the tutorial TutWD_ExcelExport in wich the public method for exportation into Excel 2003 accepts in input a IWDNode attribute, but I can't pass him a dynamic node that I'd created and manipulated in the wdDoModify() method.
    How can I do???
    Thanks to all.
    Gianluca Barile

    I've implemented the following code (but it doesn't work)
    in wdDoModify() method:
    IWDNodeInfo nodeinfo = wdContext.getNodeInfo();
    IWDNodeInfo grigliaComparativaNode = nodeinfo.addChild("GrigliaComparativa",null,true,true,true,false,false,true,null,null,null);
    IWDAttributeInfo nominativo = grigliaComparativaNode.addAttribute("Nominativo","com.sap.dictionary.string");
    IWDAttributeInfo periodoDa = grigliaComparativaNode.addAttribute("Da","com.sap.dictionary.string");
    IWDAttributeInfo periodoA = grigliaComparativaNode.addAttribute("A","com.sap.dictionary.string");
    IWDAttributeInfo[] v = new IWDAttributeInfo[50];
    for (int i = 0; i < wdContext.nodeT_Body_Elements().size(); i++)
    v<i> = grigliaComparativaNode.addAttribute("V"+i,"com.sap.dictionary.string");
    IWDNode dynTabNode = (IWDNode)wdContext.getChildNode("GrigliaComparativa",0);
    Map columnInfosMap = new HashMap();
    dynTabNode.moveFirst();
    do{
    IWDNodeElement dynTabElem = (IWDNodeElement)dynTabNode.getCurrentElement();
                   columnInfosMap.put(dynTabElem.getClass().getName(),dynTabElem.getClass().getName().toString());
              }while(dynTabNode.moveNext()!=null);
              wdThis.wdGetExcelExportCompInterface().exportToExcel2003(dynTabNode , columnInfosMap);

  • Show Repeated key values in Reports and Export Into Excel

    Hi Experts,
    Currently I am working on the BW3.5 version. Our client requirement to display the repeated key value in web and export same into excel. I have followed the steps in web template which mentioned below to achieve the requirement.
    1) In my web template, add the following line to the Template Properties object tag (the tag at the very top of the web template in HTML mode):<param name="SUPPRESS_REPETITION_TEXTS" value=""/>
    After the change web template change, Myself execute the report in web, Its fine web. But I export into excel, again the key values are suppressed. So I have followed the steps in query. Then its fine. I mean, I can export into excel with repeated key values.
    2) In my query, in Properties and on the Display tab, unchecked "Hide Repeated Key Values".
    But do we have any other option without changing query properties to achieve the requirement.. I am fine with the web template change("SUPPRESS_REPETITION_TEXTS"). But I do not want to change the query properties.
    Please help me to fix the issue. Thanks in advance.
    Thanks,
    RR

    Hi Experts,
    I have come across one of the suggestion in the below location. Could you plz help me to implement it.
    http://www.sapfans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=118185
    Suggestion:
    You can do exactly what you want, but it will take either a button changing the properties of the web item or a javascript function added to the context menu getting the properties of the table item and changing it to "X" or "". These are just two examples, there are other ways to do this. This is the actual code that sets the suppression for the repeated texts. Hope this helps.

  • How to write Oracle EBS/Forms script results to Excel spreadsheet?

    Hi All,
    I developed a scripts that tests hundreds of forms and my idea is to output specific test results into a Excel spreadsheet.
    I like the Basic and Functional Test Reports...but if I send it to other people they have difficulties to get required information out if it.
    My plan is to use "info", "warn" and "fail" statements to populate the spreadsheet.
    Does anyone has any idea how to accomplish this?
    Regards,
    Michael

    Something like that:
    import oracle.oats.scripting.modules.webdom.api.elements.DOMTable;
              // in initialize section only
              DOMTable maTable = null;
              // column number in the excel spreadsheet. Whatever you want here
              int myColumn = 1;
              // After each action you want to export the result
              getVariables().set("myResult", "{{result.code}}",
                        Variables.Scope.GLOBAL);
              // getIteration().getTotalIterationsCompleted() is equal to the iteration number
              String myResult = eval("{{myResult}}");
              maTable.storeCell(myResult, getIteration().getTotalIterationsCompleted(), myColumn);
              // in the finish section
              maTable.exportToCSVFile("c:\\temp\\export.csv", false);
    But it would be quite tough to implement.
    Why not exporting the report into Excel and transform it using macro? (don't know macro BTW :) )
