I have created WMSYS at target but I wanted the objects, the procedures, functions, types tables etc. etc.
I could get them from datadic using metadata package but most of these objects are encrypted. So I thought to export the user itself.
Need suggestions and help.............

How to export user master data in SAP HANA?
We have a HANA server SP7 and we need to migrate it to a new server which will also be HANA SPS7. However the backup/restore approach is not to be used as confirmed by client. We are going to perform a export/import of all the important schemas. The question here is how to take an export of the users and roles in this scenario
Hi Meenu,
As Michael mentioned you can't export roles and users in a general way.
To add to it, you can always export users and roles if they are created used development workbench. That means if your developer has created any repository roles or users using development workbench or WebIDE you can export them by assigning those roles/privileges to a package/delivery unit. Make use of studio/HALM/CTS for that.
However to export users and roles created by admin workbench using gui can't be exported.

SOS!! How to export a schema while the SYSAUX tablespace is offline?
Hello,
the SYSAUX for one of our productive database became corrupted and I had to take it offline in order to open the database. There is no way to recover it since there are missing archive logs from the sequence.
So I need to export a database schema which holds all the productive tables/indexes (there are no procedure, functions, packages, triggers, etc - just tables, constraints and indexes).
When I try to export the schema, I get the following error:

I've tried direct export, data pump (expdp) but with the same unsucessfull results.
Is there any way to use the export or expdp utility to get the actual data from a specific schema ?
Many thanksHello Harry and many thanks for your reply.
EXCLUDE is an option of expdp not exp. So I used expdp and get the following error:

How to export a schema.
Hi guys!
How do I use SQL Developer to export a schema?
I kind of hoped, that I would end up with a file containing a complete setup-script for the schema. This way I would be able to use SQL*Plus to create an empty version of the schema on another server.
Whenever I use Tools -> Export I get a blank file or, if I'm lucky, I get a file containing only my sequences and my packages. But no CREATE TABLE... :-( Even if I've checked "tables" in the tree.
Is this kind of export at all possible with SQL Developer? Or am I doing this all wrong?
SQL Developer version: 1.0.0.14.57
OS: Windows XP Professional SP2
Java version: 1.5.0_05
Oracle IDE: 1.0.0
Best regards.
Soeren LauritsenThe above statement gives me the following (I'm sorry, but my Oracle is in Danish):
SQL> SELECT dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLE', 'AREAS', 'username') FROM DUAL;
ERROR:

The english translation should be:
ORA-04031: unable to allocate string bytes of shared memory ("string","string","string","string")
I kind of got the feeling that our Oracle server has a crappy setup. So any suggestions will be given to my DBA.
Best Regards

Thanks & regards,
AIMHi
You have to create a NOT User specific layout. This will be available for all the users depending on your security authorization. You cannot move a user specific layout from one id to another

How to export user defined properties in seperate file
Hello,
i want to export user definied properties in a seperate file using OMB+ commands. The documentation of this topic doesn't work.
The OMB Code I use is the following:
OMBEXPORT TO MDL_FILE '${Pfad}/006_${Project}.mdl' \
FROM PROJECT '${Project}' \
ALL_CLASS_DEFINITONS \
CONTROL_FILE '$SANDBOX_HOME/Project.ctl' \
INCLUDE_USER_DEFINITIONS \
OUTPUT LOG TO '${Pfad}/006_${Project}_exp.log'
The control file defines the path and filename for the the definitons in this way:
DEFINITIONFILE=C:\Arbeitsverzeichnis\udp.mdd
But the file will not be created and i get no error message.
When using this command the udp' definitons will be exported, but in the general project export file. Which is the correct way to export the definition in a seperate file?- Create a user-defined OTD with one String field.
- Create an XSD-based OTD with repeating name and value fields of type String
- Create a "New Web Service" Java Collaboration whose input will be the first OTD, whose output will be the second OTD and whose operation will be named getProeprties, or some such
- Implement, in Java, the code necessary to read your properties, given the properties file name or path (given in the input OTD) and populate the name/valur pairs on the output OTD
- drag the operation of the collaboration onto the Business Process Editor canvas as an Activity
- Configure a Busienss Rule to set the input of the getProperties activity to the name/path of the properties file
- Configure a Business Rule(s) to use the name/value pairs returned from the ivocation of teh getProperties service
If you wish to take this one step further you could consider writing the java collaboration
a) generically so it can be reused from different business processes
b) to cache the properties on first read so each invocation after the first one simply returns the in-memory values instead of re-reading the proerties from disk
c) generically so it can read, cache and return different property sets depending on the properties file/path provided as input.
Bear in mind that IO from a java collaboration by means other than an eWay violates the EJB spec.. It works all the same.

How to export a schema and import the schema to a different schema name
I am using Oracle9i Oracle Enterprise Manager Console.
I can export the HR to a dmp file.
I have created another user call MYHR and I would like to import hr.dmp to the new user.
1. How can I add a schema using OEM?
I can do it by creating a table in MYHR and refresh OEM.
2. How can I import HR.dmp to MYHR using OEM.
I can import it using command line:
imp user/password@connectstring file='c:\hr.dmp' full='Y'
Any hints are appreciatedHi,
1.
You don't have to create a schema explictly.
Say you create a user u1. Now this user u1 create some object s, then the schema u1 is automatically created.
Schema is actually a logical collection of objects.
2.
Why using OEM for importing. Using the command is much more easier.
Your command is bit incorrect. Don't use full=y to import a schema.
Use ; imp userid=user/password@connect_string file=filename fromuser=HR touser=MYHR
Better add "log=some text file". Then use can see the log also.

How to export database schema?
I'm running a developer SQL Server 2012 Express version on my PC. I've restored a sample .bak database to this server. How or is there a way to export out the database schema or how all of the tables are interconnected/linked together out?
hi,
you can generate the DDL of the objects in your database using SQL Server Management Studio... select your database node, rx click, "Tasks->Generate Script"... the "Generate and Publish script" wizard will prompt you... in the "Set Scripting Options"
task, you can access the "Advanced" dialog, where you can interact a little on "how" the output will be generated..
as regards the "way" to understand how the objects are "interconnected", you can access the "Database Diagram" dialog... create a new one for your database, add all desired/required objects, and they will be "rendered" as objects on a window showing all
relationships (in the meaning of SQL relationships) among them... this feature is not as powerfull as in full comercial tools like erWin or the like, but it's a nice one..

Please advice if i need to write any weblogic script (WLST) or is there any other simple way for this..

1. Open the OBIEE 11G RPD (offline/online) in Administration Tool
2. Select the ALL/required presentation objects form your Presentation Layer and right-click.
3. On the context menu select “Permission Report”
4 .The Permission Report dialog displays the name and a description of the selected presentation object,
along with a list of users/application roles and their permissions. CLick the Save button to save the permissions in CSV format.
5.Once you saved to a CSV format, you can use that report for the quick auditing of security management.
