How to fade an object to transparent?

I have an object in a layer. I would like the object to start out
opaque, but fade gently away to transparent as I move from lower left to
upper right. I assumed there was an easy way to do this in PE3, but I
don't seem to be able to find it. Can anyone tell me where to look?

Hi there
 
 Sure not the best example below but you will get the idea. You need to add a mask to the layer you want to fade. If you have Grants tools no problem just add a layer.
 If you do not have Grants tools then barrow a mask for an adjustment layer I used levels below. I just opened it below the layer i want to fade then just press OK make no changes. Now click back on the layer above, the fade layer and press Layer>Group with Previous.
 
 Click on the layer MASK below on the adjustment layer. Now set your foreground/background colors to black and white.
 
 Click on the gradient tool and in the option box choose the foreground to background gradient, then Linear for gradient type
 
 Now Make sure you have clicked your mask and it is active and pull a gradient across the corners.

How to make Shape3D object (like Box, Cylinder) translucent? I tried the below option but the box is not becoming translucent at all.

Is there any way the box can be made translucent?

There is at least one unresolved issue concerning PhongMaterial's transparency: RT-28874.
I'm neither able to get it working properly. My red Sphere also fades to black while varying the opacity value from 1.0 to 0.0.

I understand what your saying.
First of all, what your doing a called a video effect not a transition. A transition is applied between two clips. The only "Swirl" in PP is a transition.
What you are refering to is the alpha key and, in a product like Boris Red, you must set the alpha key "on" in order to make the black "alpha" area transparent.
You must be using some third party plugin or are importing an image where you think the black area is an alpha channel but is not? Because i've only had problems with the black area (alpha channel) when using third party plugins like Boris FX or RED. With Boris, the alpha channel only works with effects not transitions. So if you have a scaled Boris transition between two clips or images overlayed above some background in PP, the background will not show through. If you've imported an image into PP with black areas that you want to be transparent, then you have to apply a key to remove the black or use an image format like ".PNG" - it includes the alpha channel.
If you have a PP titler page or clip and are using just PP effects and transitions, there should be no alpha channel problem no matter how you scale or manipulate the object, even if they are all in the same sequence and on top of each other. The only time you will encounter this problem is when you import a clip or image with black areas, as opposed to an alpha channel, that you want to make transparent.
So... If this a problem using third party effects plugins then i offer my apologise since they don't always function properly with respect to alpha channels. Otherwise, for an experienced editor, you need to read up on alpha channels and keying. :)

In my experience its not possible to call OLE object in Webui. Maybe customer 3 party application will be supply some web service to handle credit card payments. I think this is the simple way to access 3party application.

the syntax is like this:

These are really 3 questions??
1. To delete objects in a request there are a number of ways, here is one:
Position cursor on modifiable request.
Double click on request and choose 'Objects' tab
Choose object line you want to delete and click 'Delete'
Save your changes.
2. To delete objects in a Dev Class:
Go to work bench --> edit object, Class and give your class name, you will see delete option at the bottom of the screen.

and I have two contexts at designer level
And how to insert a object into a context that is not referencing any table.
For Example I have an object like "rownum" (Which should must be added at Universe level only not at report level). Here this object is not referencing any table and I want this to be used in a query where the remaining objects are coming from the context..

maybe a silly question; how to see the object while moving on the artboard? i dont wanna see only the objects bounding box(outline of the object). i wanna see the object it self. thank you.

What have they gone and messed up now?
When I drag an object (with bounding boxes turned on), the object moves and the bounding box stays still until I stop dragging, upon which it snaps to the object’s new position.
If I don’t have bounding boxes turned on (as I usually work), the object moves when dragged.
If what Bedri says is right, they’ve gone and mended something that wasn’t busted.
