How to fill plant in control record of an I-Doc , message type - INVOIC

Can any one tell me, how i can fill Plant in control record of an I-Doc, when i generate I-Doc through billing with message type INVOIC. The field (EDIDC-REFGRP) should be fillied with Plant.

IDOC format has three segment. Each segments has child nodes -
1. CONTROL SEGMENT - This is required only once per idoc.

we have a single source (lest say having 100 records).
In the current design which does generates IDOCS but as many as the no of records in source. Currently we use a row generation transform as dummy (with row count as 1) to pass to the IDOC parent nodes's from clause to escape the error - invalid input to the parent nodes.
Child nodes are either mapped to the source table or are null.
Question - How can we configure this in a way that we control how many records go into single idoc. Ex - lets say 50 per idoc so only 2 idoc should be created if 100 records are there.

How to put data in MESCOD field of in IDOC Control Record ?

We have a File->XI->IDOC scenario.
Two different types of files have to been mapped to the same IDOC (WMMBXY).
We want to use the field MESCOD in order to differ idocs from one type file or the other.
In the Message Mapping, I have the EDI_DC40 record dissabled, to permit that it is fulfilled by XI.
How can I put information in MESCOD field?. Is the only solution to enable EDI_DC40 record ? (I don't like this solution because automatic fulfilled is lost ).
I've seen that a Header Mapping exists in Receiver Agreement, but this is only available to Sender&Receiver.

If you have not set the Apply Control Record Values from
Payload indicator in the receiver IDoc adapter, the
fields are filled as follows:
now you see which fields are taken from ID
so enable EDI_DC40 and just fill MESCOD
this will be much easier than any other routing
(if such exists if you disable it)

EA608 EDI: Sender partner number in control record is default

We have created some KU partners in WE20 for sending billing documents to the SD bill-to partner but is running into an output error EA608 (EDI: Sender partner number in control record is default) on the billing document when trying to create IDOC's.
Settings on partner:
Partner: 12345
Partner type: KU
Partner function: BP
Message type: INVOIC
Application: V3 : Billing
Output type: ZEDI : US EDI Invoice
Process code: SD09 : INVOIC: Invoic
EDI Standard         X
Message type         810
Version              004010
Any idea to what the problem is?

In idoc control records it is showing two ports Receiver port and sender port.receiver port we cen configured in WE21.
where we configured senderport!
how it is updated in control records!

When you generate the outbound idoc you provide info for Receipent
"control record

When you receive and inbound idoc you nedd to provided similar info but for Sender
Port for Sender is just like port for Receipent. Both you check in WE21.

How to send IDOC with extended message type MATMAS

Hi Experts,
I am looking for a solution to send open PR & open PO related data for diffrent materials through as IDCO in XML file.
Scenario is i have to show a report in a 3rd party system for open PR & open PR that too will come after selection some materials. That means select a materials & it will show all the open PO & related data in a report.
The rough idea for the solution i got is I can save the data in XML file in the system. For this i have to send IDOC. but the problem is there is no message type for PR. IF i am not wrong i can extend the MATMAS05 for a segment that will have PR related info.
Now what to do with that how to send the IDOC do i need to create another report to send IDOC or i can send the extended one through BD10. I tried it but it shows error message "0 communication idoc sent" so I dont no y such error is coming i think i am not filling the extended idoc. But again my QUestion is how to do that.
Can i use BAPI also for such work, if then how it can be helpful.
If anyone have any other solution Please help me out of this.

My requirement is bit different. i have to send Open PR data for diffrent materials. In a 3rd party application user will search for few materials which will generate a report that will show the PR related data for those material.
That means for few selected materials there will be few PR's which may be open, i have to show those in my report.
Eg: material A, B. are in PR 00001 & material B, C in PR 00002.
After selecting materials A to C report will show

Same thing i have to do for open PO & open Sales order also.
Can u please help me to provide the solution how can i proceed for it. U have given the Message type & a bapi how it will help in my issue?
I got a suggesion from someone that extend message type matmas for PR, PO, SD related data & send the idoc. but i am confused how to pass that much data ina single IDOC.

ALE-IDoc : Outbound message control for MIRO,IDoc message type for INVOIC

                    But when i am saving the transaction in MIRO i am getting the Update Error like VN 056: Processing log for program RSNASTED

In File to Idoc scenario even though you selected apply control record values from payload and you are not getting those correct values which you have provided in the mapping.
Also check the checkboxes Take sender from payload and Take receiver from payload along with the Apply control record values from payload checkbox

How to change the control record of the ORDERS (purchase order) outbound IDoc? The partner type and partner number is always the logical system. I want to change it to other partner type, e.g. KU.

Hi,
Option-1
User user-exit EXIT_SAPLEINM_001 of enhancement MM06E001 to change the control record.
But make sure that whatever control record you put here, there should be a corresponding partner profile exist in partner profile ( WE20 ).
Option-2
You are saying that you are always getting 'LS'. This is because the output type is only configured with partner function 'LS'. We are using Purchase order idoc and we generate our all idocs for partner type 'KU'.
To do this, follow these steps.
- go to transaction NACT
- enter application 'EF' and select 'maintain'.
- select the output type you are using in PO for EDI.
- with this output type selected, select "partner functtions" from left hald side options.
- Hit "new entries" button on the top
- create an entry with, MEDIUN = 6 (EDI) ; Funct = VN ( vendor )
- Save your settings and come out
- Now on WE20, remove the partner profile you have created under partner type 'LS' and instead create a same partner profile for your vendor under partner type "KU".
Now it is upto you to decide, either to user the user-exit i have mentioned to change the control records OR create a outout config and partner profile for "KU".

Hi,
How to fill table control rows by using function module dynp_update_fields or dynp_values_update. I have a custom screen wherein i have few input/output fields at the top. F4 help has already been defined for these fields and i want to populate/refresh a table control available in the same screen w.r.t., value chosen by user from F4 help. please let me know how to use these FMs for this or if there is any other way to do this.

Look at FM DYNP_GET_STEPL which provides povstepl index to be able to update field values in correct row of table control with DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE (and to read correct value with DYNP_VALUES_READ too)
NB: If you need to update multiple rows, I'm not sure that can be done in POV, you may be required to modify the internal table and trigger PAI/PBO cycle with a suppress dialog, or method/FM to trigger ok_code.
