How to filter selection in drop down box in Report Builder 3.0

New to SQL reporting services -
what is the syntax for filtering the drop down list in Report Builder 3.0?
I have the following: =Parameters!ReportParameter1.value and =Fields!Store.value
my drop down shows the project name numerous times rather than just once.

If I understood your requirement clearly then you need distinct value in Parameter list.
In this case you need to select a distinct record in dataset that will be further used as Parameter input.
Lets say your pameter accept value from dataset1;
select 'Project1' pp
union all
select 'Project1'
union all
select 'Project1'
union all
select 'Project2'
union all
select 'Project2'
union all
select 'Project3'
so in this case your report parameter will show.
By selecting distinct record you will get ;

you can create a method to populate the context attribute that you are using to map to your dropdown box.
DATA: node_info TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node_info.
DATA: it_table TYPE wdr_context_attr_value_list.
** select your dropdown data into it_table and pass it to your context attribute.
** here, mine is call PROJ_TYPE - the values should appear in your dropdown.
node_info->set_attribute_value_set(
name = 'PROJ_TYPE'
value_set = it_table ).

How do I use a drop-down box to turn on a radio button?

I have a dynamic form with a drop-down box containing selections 1, 2, 3, and 4; later in the form I have a radio button group with two radio buttons labeled "pass" and "fail".
I would like to have drop-down selections 1 and 2 automatically select "fail" and 3 and 4 automatically select "pass" in the radio button group, with the option of the user changing this with a warning message.

How to get at Colour drop down box for simple shape ?

If I go new file, Insert Symbol, Movie Clip, then draw a
circle and a line using those two tools, I am unable to get the
colour drop down box to show so that I can select Alpha. I have
managed to do this many times for an imported to library graphic
from Freehand, one simply clicks on the graphics line after the
graphic has been drag/dropped to stage, go properties and the
Colour drop down list from where you select the word Alpha appears.
I have tried a single click, a double click, a treble click,
just cant see that dropdown box for simple shapes !

My drop-down list won't appear anymore so every time I want to go to a new site I have to type it in where before my drop-down box would appear and I could just click it and hit search and go there how do I make my drop-down box come back

It's not a matter of me assuming to restore it, once the error comes up, the only next step I can do is to restore it. I can't access any of the iphones settings in itunes or anything, it's a mandatory restore. If I just cancel the sync (before restoring) and disconnect the phone, all my apps crash on opening: aka unusable phone. So I have literally no choice but to restore every time the error shows up if I want my phone to work.
I have no idea where I may have duplicate files as it doesn't tell me, so if that is the problem (which I don't think it is) then I don't know where I have to go to delete the duplicates.
And the duplicate file error still doesn't explain why leaving iTunes to restore the phone doesn't work and me having to drag the window around. I know it sounds utterly ridiculous, my friend didn't believe me when I told him either but then I showed him and he was as confused as I am. If I just leave the restore to do its own thing at it's own pace, it will loa maybe 20% then fail for whatever reason.

you cannot set focus on a subform but on a field, as only interactive objects can be focussed.
From a dropdowns exit event the script will look this way:

How do you link a drop down box to display content in read only field?

For starters, I am a super novice at javascript, and I'm being asked to make some huge forms.
For this form, I need to figure out how to display a corresponding description that I have typed up when a certain product is chosen in the read-only description field. Not only this, but the price of the product needs to also show up in the read-only price section. There are five different products to choose from.
This has to be some big coding. I just don't have any javascript knowledge and it really confuses the heck out of me. :c
Any help would be amazing. I don't want to have to abandon this project.

For a text value you have to use a custom JavasScript. Where you place it and the code will depend upon when you want the value of the text field to change and how you have populated your combo boxes.

How do I set a "force-fill" to a drop-down box?

How do I require the drop-down boxes to be filled prior to submitting? I already have the "required" box checked. I'm guessing that maybe why the required is not working is due to the blank I have at the top of the list. I did that so upon opening the document the boxes appear blank & need a selection entered. This is what it looks like when I remove the blank.

Or is that only the case if I have a blank within the list? I’m fairly new to the Adobe Forms (read: no formal training…just bumbling along on my own), so I have no idea what setting the property to true means or how to do custom scripting.

Hi, im using ff 8.1, and when i use drop down boxes the options show but it doesnt change when i select an option.

So im using this website, and im not sure if this problem occurs with other website because i havent come across any, but i select the drop down box menu, the options appear, i select an option, but it doesnt actually use my option it just goes back to default. This website is like a form filling interface so i need to save it at the end, but firefox doesnt allow me to do that either.
It works on google chrome fine so i doubt its a problem with the website. I have only just installed firefox 8.1 and havent changed any settings or applied any addons.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

In Firefox 4 and later Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

How to add a dynamic drop down list in RDLC reports in WPF

I have to Load an RDLC report in WPF application and need to include a drop down list in report.Based on the selection of drop down list different reports to be generated.I am using C# and WPF.
Eg: I have to list the details of employees in in RDLC report.There is a country drop down list, Based on the selection of country drop down list we need to display details of employees in the selected country.

With rdlc I think you will have to use the windows report viewer control.
If this was SAP crystal reports there's a wpf report viewer.
I never actually tried that with rdlc and I suppose there is a small chance they turn out to be compatible.
If you have questions on rdlc specifically then you're probably better finding a forum specialises in that. Not sure where that would be but maybe in the sql server forums. It's a business intelligence thing and people who do the likes of ssis are
what you want really.
I do reporting myself but I think you'll find few others who do so here.

I have virtually no experience with JavaScript and I am trying to figure out how to add some basic automation features to an Adobe form. I have a drop down box called "Hospital_Name" that will contain approximately 7 possible selections. When the user makes a selection, I would like to have the text field (called "Hospital_Address") below the drop down box populate with the corresponding address for the selection. I have the "Hospital_Address" text field configured for multiple lines and would like the address to have a line break between the street address and the city/state/zip.
For example, if the user selected "Hospital 1", the text field would display:
123 Main St
Anytown, CA 12345
Any help or examples you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a beginners task but requires a fair amount of knowledge about the structure of objects, defining strings, and structure of arrays.
Are you sure you have all the field names correctly spelled and capitalized?
Do you get any error in the JavaScript console?
Just trying the line that defines the "Location", I get the following error:
SyntaxError: invalid property id
1:Console:Exec
undefined
All the form field in a PDF are processed by using JavaScript and any error in any script will stop JavaScript processing.
It might help to have a link to the problem form.
