I lost my phone. The find my iPhone app worked and gave me a location however it was on a random street with no house. Shortly after my phone went offline. Is there anyway I will ever find my phone?

If offline, other than physically looking for it, no. Find My Phone requires an Internet connection.

Who unlocked the device? Who told you it was unlocked? Where did you purchase this device? Is it new or used? You say it is not activating, what does it do when you try and activate it? Do you see any messages? If so, what are they?

Solution: How to find the phone signal in fringe areas

This is not so much a question but a solution I accidentally found.
If you are in a weak signal area and the phone is stuck on "searching" or says "no signal" and you need to get it to find that phone signal all you need to do is push the phone shut off button on the top of the phone by holding it down until the shut down screen appears, but don't move the slider to shut down the phone.
Next, wait a few seconds and the phone signal will show up. In really fringy areas you may need to try twice.
There is no question that this phone is much more able to get weak signals than my 3GS.

Hi, thanks for the information, but i have figured out the following additional settings that are required to be made :
1) from upper menu, select the "Environment" to :- Business blueprint
2) then select any folder on the left-hand-side
3) Now, click on 'Structure' tab
....and now, follow the steps as answered by you.
Also, after you have opened up the "History" dialog box ..... click on the "show scope info' ...... it will give you the entire change log.

This case... My friend is a police and he taking care of it.
We think the theif they already wipe my data because my phone never located any more. Then we just need to know can thai police get some information from apple about my phone. We got IMEI we know apple can get IMEI from iTunes and apple also know billing address of apple id that use on my phone.

IF you set up find my iphone on the iphone BEFORE it was stolen AND it has not been restored by the thief, then you may be able to find it and wipe it using icloud.
Otherwise, there is nothing to do but report it to the police and change your passwords.

It means it isn't connected to the internet with Find My iPhone and Location Services turned on. This could be because the phone is turned off, it doesn't have a wi-fi or cellular data connection to the internet, Find My iPhone or Location Services has been turned off in settings, or the iPhone has already been restored as new so it can't be located even if it is online.
If you had set a passlock on your phone, then no one will be able to access your data. They can only restore it as new, erasing all data from the phone.
