How to find Extractor mapped to an InfoObject.

Hi All.
I am quite new to BW. I am looking up the attributes related to OMATERIAL infoobject. I wanted to find out the particular extractor that is loading the attributes related to OMATERIAL (Eg OVENDOR etc). What is the transaction to do this. I want to see if any rules are there within that extractor.
I am using BW 3.1. Thanks in advance !!

Thank you both for the quick reply. I looked up 0MATERIAL_ATTR. However it does not have the Vendor Number asosciated to the Material.
However when I do Maintain Master Data for Characteristic 0Material I can see the Vendor field there.
How do I figure out how this Vendor is populated. Is there some other extractor the loads it ?

e.g. I want to know the table & field of 0MAINTPOS infoObject.

You can get the list of tables involved in a particular DS by using the below method ( this another approach)
--> RSA3 -- enter your DS ( execute later)
--> Goto Tcode ST05 --> switch on the SQL Trace
--> now execute the extract checker in RSA3.once done switch off(deactivate) the SQL trace.
--> in st05 screen you can find the button "Display Trace" -- execute (here make sure SQL trace button is enabled.
--> from the menu bar -->Trace list--> select "combined table accesses".
--> it will display the tables involved in it -- check for TABLE names section.... select that row Table names -- click on filter button --press F4 -- here we go it will display the list of entire tables involved in the extraction activity... here you need to sort the tables which are related to your DS.

How to find failed mapping filed in BPM

I have scenario IDoc to JDBC...
BPM is used, in BPM Mapping is Java mapping & Java Mapping is failed.
Now am in Technical Workflow container area.
I am unable to trace that where the mapping got failed, i mean particular failed field area.
Please suggest how to trace java mapping failures & and also failures in BPM.

How to find downloaded maps?

Hello there,
After a bit of trouble I finally got the Nokia Map Loader to work and downloaded a map of British Columbia to my 6220c phone.
At least I thought I did but I can't seem to find this map anywhere. I've tried a few times, deleting the data and then downloading a map but I still can't seem to find it in Nokia Maps on the phone?

How to find the mapping between External Object Name and Business Obj.

Anyone who can help me? I would like to know is there any way to know Business Object is behind object associated to Context Node, it seems that for some cases is easy but for instance for object BuilHeader is not the case, at least for me. View BP_ADDR/StandardAddress, which belongs to UI Component BP_ADDR, has context node HEADER which is associated to BuilHeader. In case to enhance that object (to add new attributes), using EEWB, I need to know what is the business object behind that external name. Somehow I cannot find the mapping between external name BuilHeader and Business Object.

Hi Aleks,
If you want to enhance Business Partner, the object you are looking at should be "BUPA" in EEWB. To my knowledge, there is no place where this kind of mapping is maintained.
Note 484597 describes where to find the Cookbook which describes the enhanceable objects and the enhancement process.

How to find extractor of a field in CRM

Hi Everyone,
I need your help with this one.
In a CRM screen I see the fields and with F1 help I can see it is being stored in a table through a structure. How do I find which extractor the field is being extracted into BW.
This one is a custom development related with CRM activities but I am not able to find out which extractor is extracting this field and where in BW is it being stored.
The developers named of fields differently in CRM and BW. Ofcourse this doesnt matter unless they mapped right.
But how do I find where they are being mapped. It must be in BADI, but is there a way to find where this field is being called for extraction in BADI.

This will display all CRM datasources in BW. Note down all datasource technical names.
Again in BW-- SE16 -- table name RSOSFIELDMAP
For OLTPSOURCE -- enter one datasource technical name
For FIELDNM -- enter field name u want to find out

I would like to know easy way to find the list of aggreagates in which a infoObejct is included. When I use "Where-used List" function - I am not getting list of Aggregates.
For Example - I would like to know List of Aggregates in which 0MAT_SALES is present. I feel solutions is thru navigating thru meta data tables...please help me.

How to find Zsegment Feilds in Customer Master?

I am looking in ZSegment having some customized fields and some standard fields. I Know the fields are from customer master, But i didn't see any such in field respective customer master.I have taken out technical field names.I just want to know How to find those mapped fields in sap customer master through Process code. Can any of you experts spend ur valuable time to get me some solution on this? Its an OutBound Idoc.

Hi,
Those fields may be suppressed in the customer master field layout. This functionality is governed by the account grps. Check the accnt grps you will surely find sumthing.

activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)

Check in metadata repository for that infoObject.
If you are still not able to identify, goto RSBO tx and press F4.
You will get the list of Infospokes available.
Go in each and chk from the General Tab, if the infoObject is available in the source system.

How to find the most matched values in the set of map?

I have two vectors
vector<int> V1; vector<int> V2;
and a map<int, set<int>> M1;
I want to select common values from both V1 and V2 and check those values with the set in the map M1.
For example:
V1 contains;
2 4 6 8 9
V2 contains;
4 5 6 9 10
M1 contains;
1=>1 2 5 9
2=>4
3=>5 10
4=>2 4 8
5=>4 9
6=>4 6
7=>9 12
When we select the common values of V1 and V2 it is 4, 6, 9.
And we search for all 4, 6, 9 from the values of M1 which give more appropriate.
But, no all values in the set of map.
Then, we delete any value from 4, 6, 9, then remaining values would match any values from the map.
From the example, if we delete 6, then remaining 4, 9 will match with 5=>4 9, or if we delete 9, then 6=>4 6. Any one of the keys can be selected.
I know how to select the common values from V1 and V2, but I do not know how to match with the values and select the appropriate key from M1.
Could anyone help me to solve this?

This is not the question you asked, except perhaps in the subject. The subject is not the right place to put key features of the question. It is also important to use the body to ask just the question you want
answered. For example your real question has nothing to do with V1 and V2, just the common vector V (e.g. 4 6 9).
One way to solve your problem would be to create a new map
map<int, set<int>> M2;
with the same keys as M1. Each set of M2 should contain the elements of V that are
not in the corresponding set of M1.
Then pick the key of M2 that has the smallest set. If that set is empty, then the whole of V can be used. Otherwise the smallest set tells which elements of V have to be removed, and which is the desired key of M1.
In your example, key 5 of M2 will contain just 6, so you should remove 6 from V and select key 5.

How to find where the code for append structures for LIS extractors?

I found 4 append structures for extractor 2LIS_03_BF,
Out of 4 append structures, I found code for one, using where-used option. But in vain for other 3. Is it possible they didn't transport the code for remaining structures? how to find that?

When ever you apply a logic to populate tdata for the appended filed then you will be writing some code in CMOD transaction code where you will find a ZXRSAU01
program, just double click on that then it will take you to the complete exit. Ther you can find with your data source name.

Hi SAP Gurus
Can any of you guys suggest how to find the list of Info objects for the Datasources .
I have a scenario where I have a list of Datasources (400) which are Text and Attr Datasources,
for which I need find the list Info objects,
so can you please tell me is there any way that I can find the List of Info objects.

Hi Rahul,
You can make use of RSOSFIELMAP for your requirement.
Go to Se16----->rsosfieldmap.
You can see several fields as selections among them you could find Info object and Field selections as well.
If you give infoobject name in selection, it will display all the data sources where it is available.
If you give Filed also it will display the same.
If you want to maintian document do Top Down Analysis from Bw stand right from Data target-->update rule--->infosource
