How to find/replace existing certificates before decommissioning certificate authority?

We plan to decommission a multi-use server that also contains our internal certificate authority and replace it with new dedicated CA servers in a more secure design (offline root CA etc.).
Before we decommission our existing CA servers, how do we find a list of all the issued certificates that are still valid?
We would need replace all those old certificates with new certificates from our new CA so the applications that use them don't break when the old certificates are removed/revoked and before we remove the GPO setting that makes our current CA a trusted root
CA for our domain computers.

on CA server you can filter issued certificates by "Certificate Expiration Date" column. In the Certification Authority MMC snap-in, select Issued Certificates folder, then click View -> Filter. Add a filter that would filter certificates
where "Certificate Expiration Date" is greater than current date.

You can find the search help using their table and fields name.
simply you have to point the cursor on same field for which you want to see search help in SE11.and then in same window search help tab available click on this..
It will show all search help which is having same field.

How to find suitable( existing) function group for a Function Module to be created?

If you are not sure into which Function group your FM should go in then its advised to create a Function group of your own. Its not advised to create a function module in any other function group unless its owned by you since your FM can get deleted by others or it can get changed.
Create your own Function group. But if you want to create in an existing FG then best way is to find out the Function Group by searching for suitable existing Function module then see their function group

ICWC case from 4.0 to 5.0, how to find an existing case

I don't see how to find an existing case in CRM 5.0. I'm trying to link a service ticket to an existing case
I know 5.0 required some additional configuration to assign Case profile in CRMC_IC_MAIN and I created the case profile in config ICWC > business transactions > case management > define profile for case management. I assigned our 4.0 case type to the case profile.
In the ICWC when I select Cases from the Nav Bar I see three windows
- Attributes in upper left
- Note in upper right
- linked objects & log lower section
but none of the hyper links take me to where I can look up past cases.

SAP help says the search is done in the Inbox which I think is different than 4.0 but I think I figured out the configuration.

Case search
You can search for cases in the agent inbox using different selection criteria. If you open a case in the agent inbox, the view set Cases is displayed automatically.
Alternatively, you can use the separate case search if you have set this up in Customizing.
Use the text search function in the Knowledge Search to search for case notes, documents and business objects as well as to search for cases based on the long text description of business objects. You can e-mail cases found using the Knowledge Search to internal and external parties. Case header information and attachments are sent.

You can find existing workflow in Transaction PFTC.
Select Task Type as Workflow Template(WS) and either do F4 on Task
or put some description and press enter.
For assigning a user to a role, check transaction PPOCW. (If in an Org. Unit) or through SU01.

Choose Goto > Object Directory Entry> Lock Overview On the Initial screen of the "smartforms" transaction, after entering the actual smartform. This would give you the request number for the smartform.

How to find & replace in Javascript code?

Hi all!
I hope that this turns out to be an easy question! We recently updated several forms (about 50 of them) to alter a select set of field names per customer requirements. However, it turns out that one of these fields is a key field and is referenced in one or more places by JavaScript within the PDF.
In Acrobat 6 I'd select the option to edit all scripts which would give me a big document with all of the Javascript within the PDF. I could then do a find/replace on the code and save it. Now, using Acrobat Pro 9, I cannot find anything like this. Please don't tell me that I have to search through all of the different form fields and PDF objects to find all of the script pieces tied to objects or events! I'm really, really hoping that there is an easier way to do this since right now I'm out of ideas and really don't want to have to sift through all of the objects in over 50 PDF documents.

If you know the name of the query/view and workbook in Bex you could also search with user ID, Date the report is modified and so on.

How to import a Root Certificate Authority for signing

How can I import a Root Certificate Authority in order to use it with Certificate Assistant as a CA to sign other certs?
I have the CA cert imported in keychain along with it's associated private key (from a .p12), it's got the gold icon and is recognized as a Root certificate authority, yet Certificate Assistant will not list it as an available Root CA in the "Set Default CA" action dialog, the "Add..." dialog seems only interested in a ".certAuthorityConfig" plist file.
Do I have to generate a certAuthorityConfig for the CA? I can't seem to find a way to do that. No clues from certtool & security CLI utils even.
Any info/leads on how to get this to work would be much appreciated.

From ACE perspective, it doesn't make differences if you are using certificates issued by your local or a "well known" CA. Moreover, if not mistaken, you have to configure authentication group whatever you are doing client or server authentication.

How to delete one existing file before uploading a file with same name?

I am uploading a file to Tomcat server. But, the problem is:
i want to delete an existing file in the server, if i upload a fresh file with same name. In other words, "First check for the file with the same name in the server. If it exists, then delete existing file in the server and upload fresh one". If such file doesnot exist, then upload the file to server.
I have given deleteonExit()
but, for the first time when user is uploading, i want to check for the file with same name in the server.

How to find the existing hierarchy variable?

Dear SAP gurus,
In this existing query, there is a Cost Element hierarchy variable created. When I run the query (second attempt by refreshing the query selection screen), the Cost Element Node variable field was not available to be changed again. Believe this has to do with the option 'Changeable with query navigation' option in the variable created. I was trying to confirm on this via the variable properties, but I had trouble identifying where it is located, because there are just too many cost element hierarchies available for reporting.
Anyone can help me? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your highlight, I found the variable, however, I didnt see any option "Changeable with query navigation" for this hierarchy variable. Any reason for this?
The issue I am facing was, say, when I run the query for the first time with Cost Element Node 1, and i was trying to change my selection to CE node 2, so I refreshed my variable screen but the field to select CE hierarchy Node was no longer there. Normally this happens to variable that has the option "Changeable with query navigation" unchecked.
But in this case, I did not see this option for the hierarchy variable used, how do we justify the scenario in this case?
