How to find share/rank of one dimension with another

I am working on OLAPTRAIN schema.
I would like to find out the share of a product within certain geography. I want to know the share of an item or a category within a country or certain region.
I am using AWM11.2.0.1.A.

Create a share type calculated measure in the product dimension (e.g., share to parent, share to total). When you report, the share will be calculated for whichever geographies (and any other dimensions) that you happen to be reporting on. If you are reporting at, for example, a Region level the calculation will apply to those members at that level. If you drill to, for example, a country the calculation will apply to the countries in the report. That's the beauty of the Oracle cube. You just define calculations once and they work anywhere within the cube.
You can make share calculations in the calculated measure GUI in AWM. Here are two examples:
Share to Total:
SHARE(SALES_CUBE.SALES OF PRODUCT.STANDARD TOP) * 100
Share within parent:
SHARE(SALES_CUBE.SALES OF PRODUCT.STANDARD PARENT)
You can specify that the measure to be calculated using specific value of a dimension using the (...) button in the calculated measure GUI. For example, if you wanted the share to parent calculation to be calculated based on the value for North America regardless of what geographies you are reporting on, you can add that to the expression. For example:
SHARE(SALES_CUBE.SALES[OLAPTRAIN.GEOGRAPHY='North America'] OF HIERARCHY PRODUCT.STANDARD PARENT)
Note that in this expression I've substituted 'North America' for the actual dimension member '-11' for readability purposes.

How can I share Quicken and other apps with another user on the same iMac?

I would like to share some apps including Quicken with anoter user on the same iMac. I have put the Quicken app and the .QFX file in /usrs/share and changed the permissions to R/W on both files but when I log in as the other user and run Quicken it does not use the .QFX file and instead comes up with no accounts.

The Quicken app. should be in the Applications folder at the root of Macintosh HD. It's accessible to all users from there.

When opening a file just double-click the file - it will open the application automatically.

Unfortunately the support is down at the moment, I will have a better look later. I did go though the Apple support previously, however I found nothing that worked.
The first thread I came across was “Home Sharing” however no mater what I did, it did not appear in the iTunes sharing list (I did go though the “Show Sharing Networks” support as well)
Secondly, I saw “Using A Single Library With Multiple Accounts On The Same PC” (Something like that) but all this did was let us share the same music location, if I was to rip extra music, it will not show in there library

For Numbers '09 (Mac), the answer is no, Numbers does not support references to a cell in a separate file.
But the profile information at the bottom of your message, and the use of 'tab' in the message suggests you are using Numbers for iOS. I've requested your question be transferred to the iWork for iOS community, where the users of that version tend to be more plentiful than here, where the topic is Numbers (for Mac).

How can I share my iPhoto '08 Library with another user account?

I found a post that tells how to share my library so that two user accounts on my iMac have full read and write access to my iPhoto Library, but I can't find the Library. It should be under /users/myname/pictures/iphoto library/data according to a Spotlight search I used to find a photo in my library, but that folder can't be seen in Finder.

No, your Library should not be under
/users/myname/pictures/iphoto library/data
That's the location of a thumbnail within the Library. Using Spotlight to search the Library is dangerous as Spotlight doesn't understand how the Library is structured.
By default - unless you moved it - the Library is in your Pictures Folder.
/users/myname/pictures
As to Sharing with iPhoto 08:
What you mean by 'share'.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc. The problem here is that OS X works very hard to keep your data safe and secure from the other users. You're trying to beat what's built in to the system. So, to beat the system
Quit iPhoto in both accounts
Move the iPhoto Library Folder to an external HD set to ignore permissions. You could also use a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.
In each account in turn: Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting dialogue, select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new library location. From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.
Lastly: This method seems a little clunky at first, but works very well. Most importantly, it uses the System to do the job for you.
Create a new Account on your Mac, call it Media. Create an iPhoto Library there. (BTW: This will work for iTunes too.)
Enable Sharing on the Library:(Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other accounts. In those accounts, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. The Library will appear in the other source pane.
This means that both users will be able to see the pics. If you want to use a pic then simply drag it from the shared Library to your own in the iPhoto Window. This means that each user can have their own edits.
If you want to add photos to the Library: Log into the Media account for that purpose.
To make it all seamless: Set your Mac to log into the Media Account automatically. Set iPhoto to launch on log-in. Then switch to your own account using Fast User Switching.
Net result: a Library that's permanently available to all users but also protected. Each user can have their own versions of the pics if they want.
No partitioning, no permissions issues. Uses no extra disk space. What's not to like?
Note: This process is simple in iPhoto 09, and requires none of these hoops. If this is a key feature for you you might consider upgrading.

Each device is specifically paired with a laptop or Apple stand alone computer.
But try to synch both devices separately with the same music library in Apple music media folder??

Currently you cannot share a folder, only individual files. Sharing of folders is a feature that is coming in the future.

Key thing in datacopy is to place the dimensions in cross dimension in the same order. Both sides (before and after "TO") should have equal number of dimension members specified.

How can I migrate file shares & permissions from one volume to another on the same server?

I am replacing a storage array and as part of that process, I need to move files/folders and Shares/permissions from one Volume to another volume within the same server.
The server is Windows 2003 file server. The file transfers are not a problem, moving all 40 shares with permissions etc. is my main concern because in order to maintain everything I need to change the drive letter of the new volume to match the old
one so that links to various resources throughout the network do not break.

If you want to copy files/folders from one Volume to another volume within the same server, you could use the File Server Migration Tool (FSMT) or Robocopy to accomplish your goals. The tool can move all of the files from the shares on your original volume
to the new volume.

I had found it once on apple support, but I'm having trouble finding it again. Can someone tell me how you get your songs from one computer to another? I'm consolidating all the songs from my wife's laptop on to mine so we can share the same library, but I don't know how to get her songs on my computer, and as a result, my iTunes.

Go to the itunes folder and copy all of the songs on to an external hard drive. Then copy them from the hard drive to the other computer
You could also use home sharing which will send the songs over your wireless.

Welcome to the forum.
I can think of three basic ways to accomplish what you wish to do:
Use the Project Archiver to archive your Project (and check the box to gather the media files), to an external HDD. Probably the easiest way to do it.
Copy the Project and ALL media files to an external HDD, but be prepared to relink the media files to the Project, as the drive letter (part of the Absolute Path) will have changed.
Edit loosely, and Share to an AV file, which will be Imported into a New Project on that second computer. Or, edit VERY tightly, and do the same. I like the first, as removing, replacing Transitions, etc., can be much more difficult, unless that "tight edit" is 100% done.
