How to find the foreign function source code of srw.user_exit in report?

Hi,
We know that srw.user_exit can invoke a foreign function,for example SRW.USER_EXIT('FND SRWINIT').
But how can I find the source code of the foreign function in SRW.USER_EXIT(e.g. the source code of FND SRWINIT)?

You build user exits when you want to pass control from Report Builder to a program you have written, which performs some function, and then returns control
to Report Builder.
So you will have to know the foreign function you want to invoke.
For information on writing a user exit, see the following note on Metalink:

If you are looking at determining whether a single FM is obsolete or not is by this method:
Go to FM in SE37 -> Goto Attributes Tab -> General Data section -> look above the Edit Lock field ... where SAP places the release status and date of the FM, if the FM is obsolete, the text Function Obsolete appears
This is one way of finding out one FM @ a time
However if you want to check on a mass scale, I dont have a SAP system here hence cant confirm, however, all FMs are stored in TFDIR database table. Please scroll through the fields of the DB table to check whether any field relates to release status or the like. If it does, then from SE16, you can put the value corresponding to "Obsolete" in the field and run to check all FMs.

can you tell us the name of the transaction in which you saw this field?
If it is in PO Creation or Change you can probably look at the bapis
BAPI_PO_CREATE or BAPI_PO_CHANGE

2. click on the text "Cost Center"
3. hit F1
4. Click on the technical information
5. in the next screen double click on Field name :KOSTL
6. Select the row for the component KOSTL
7. Click on the display list
8. In the next screen, in the object name:KBAS
Drilldown to transactions.
Here you get a complete list of the transactions.

There are a number of Datasources you could use. You could start with the infosource level. Explore Business Content. Ex:
0CO_OM_CCA_9
0CO_OM_CCA_1
It depends totally on your requirement: what fields you want, whether you delta functionality or not etc..
Importantly, whether you want actual costs, plan, commitments or budget.

I created a function module and the same one is called from another function module.
When I tried to find where the first function module is used using Where-used List , I am getting the message "function module not found in selected areas" .

Go to UTILITIES-> Update Navigation index.
or go to fucntion group and Generate the Funtion group once.
it will detect all fucntion modules under that function group.

Data Mining : Association Analysis - How to find the Created Data source

I had created a model for Association Analysis and I trained the model and I had maintained a Data source for the model and my question is it shows the associate data source name as "Z_RSDME_AX_DS_0002" and the Application Component as "0DM_XSEL" but when I tried to search for Data source it shows that Data source not found, how to see the created Datasource

Hi,
Go to RSA1 and click on Data Sources. Give the Source System as the client name of your BI system. It will show you all the list of the datasources under your BI client. Now under datasources in the topmost node, right-click and select replicate metadate. It will give you options to replicate your Z_RSDME_AX_DS_0002 datasource. Once replicated, just activate the datasource.
Until and unless you replicate metadata you wont be able to see your Z_RSDME_AX_DS_0002 datasource.

To find the function modules for standard tables you go for a where used list of that particular table and check only function module interfaces checkbox...
and more over you can go for DB_UPDATE_TABLE will be the function module for updating database table..

There are some ways to improve performance of this code, but if you are not reading thousands of lines it's quite fast.
After this part you can dimension the array to pass to FileToArray... unless you want to read it yourself since you already have it open!

How to find the Data source name on linux server

Good Morning...
I created a rpd in my local machine and deployed on the server through Fusion middle ware.
and copied the catalog file there in the server.
While working on my local machine I have two odbc connections... one is for development and other is for production.
at the time of deployment to the server I changed the development instance to production instance throught the connection pool.
I am encountering the following error while working on the analyis....
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW).
Error Details
Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. [nQSError: 16001] ODBC error state: IM002 code: 0 message: [DataDirect][ODBC lib] Data source name not found and no default driver specified. (HY000)
I think this is because of the mismatch of the datasource name in server and my local machine...could you please tell me how to find the datasource names on the server?

I created two ODBC connections in my system.
one for development and another for Production.
while deploying the rpd to the server I changed the development login credentials with production login.
The problem here is I just want to know whether Iam giving the same datasource name which was presented on the server or not.
I don't have access to the server now.
Is there any way to find out the datasource names which were presented on the server with the help of admin console?

I guess you knew that in APO, apart from APO tables.. it is Livecache where the actual transaction data is stored.
But, if you just want to find some of the existing table in APO.. simply go to se11 and in the table name put the pattern as /SAPAPO/* and press F4. It will give a list of tables with the descriptions.
You can find out yourself all APO tables application wise with the following steps:
Use transaction SE11 or SE16
- Press F4 in the selection field
- You will get popup... in the below line of the popup selection SAP Applications.
Here you will get the Application list. In that select your own application for which you want to get the table details
e.g. SCM- Supply Chain Management --> SCM-APO --> Advanced Planning and Optimization --->SCM-APO-MD - Master Data --> /SAPAPO/00_PRODUCT
Here are some examples:
/SAPAPO/v_matloc - material, material number location view
/SAPAPO/TSAREAKO - Planning Area details
/SAPAPO/TSAREATE - Planning Area technial fields
Since there are thousands of tables, I cannot list them all here.

You can use transaction ST05 (database trace) to help you find the tables you are looking for. You can turn on the trace function, run an APO transaction, and looks at the ST05 logs for the tables

How to find the code which processes idocs

I am looking for a descriptive short document which would ideally give me comlete picture in IDOC processing, transactions used etc.
E.g
My XI sends idocs to an RFC port of an ERP system. All I know is message type FIDCC2(found it in message mapping and under a partner profile ias imput parameter in transaction we20 for a partner profile with rfc destination of its own rfc destination i.e. PR1CLNT001)
. However in this example I do not find source code which process then this idoc(probably as it is original idoc)?
