How to find the names of Function Module used in the program

can you people help me with this issue.I want to the names of all the Function Module used in the program along with their parameters into an internal table.It will be helpful for your suggestions.

How to debug a function module using in the generic datasource?

Hi all,
We have created a generic data source using function modulle and have been extracting the data for a single customer it contains single records but it has pulled out more than 10,000 records. how to debug the function module used in the data source.
since we schedule for extraction in bi and back ground job gets triggered in ecc for extraction,
i know in se37 we can select the function module name and then debug but still need to check while the bacground job is trigered through bi.

Yes you can debug the Function Module.
Open the function module in SE37 and put a break point in the code where you want to check from, then come to RSA3 and give the datasource name and check the Debug check box on this screen, once you click on the start button it will take you the place where you have placed the break point in the FM, by pressing F5 you can see the flow of the FM.

The name 'rolename' is in use by the cluster already as network name or application name

I removed windows cluster ISCSI target server few days back since it was not needed and now its needed as we need since its a clustered storage space and we need this role for ISCSI storage to external server. Now when I add the role again I get this error

Could you post the original error information or the screenshot about this error, I can’t find out any similar error explain, we can not install the iSCSI target on any cluster
node we need the separate server as the shared storage.

How to change the name of function module ,generated by SMARTFORMS

Dear All,
As you all know, SMARTFORMS generates one function module.
The default name is somewhat like    /1BCDWB/SF00000099
instead of, i want to give some specific user defined name.

I think its not possible to give it a user defined name, but you can assign it to a variable and use that variable name instead.

Hi..
You can find the FM name using the Include name in this way..
For EG:
INCLUDE<b> LSBDCU14.</b> "BDC_OPEN_GROUP
In this SBDC is the Name of the Function Group.
So in SE37 Open this Function Group SBDC and Check the Include where all the Function modules are stoted.
Now u can find the Include . Double click on this to see the FM.

I was told when I purchased the phone from Telstra in Australia that the phone was unlocked and i would be able to us it in the US as long as I changed the sim card and found the right carrier. I will now go to AT&T since you have told me they are the carrier. No wonder Verizon could not assist me. Thank You.

Session Variable : How to find out where all it is used in the repository?

Hello Everyone,
We have a requirement where we need to convert a few session variables into repository variables. For this we need to figure out where all is that session variable used in the repository and webcat (which all logical columns use it, which all prompts use it etc). We tried the query repository utility but that didnt help. Is there any other way to find that out? Will really appreciate any pointers from your side.

To find the variables used in,
Rpd : Open the rpd->Navigate to Tools Menu->Select "Utilities"->"Repository Documentation".This will generate a csv file with the associations
Webcat :Open the webcat using catalog Manager->Tools Menu->Create Report-.Select the desired columns (Include Xml column)->Open the rpeort in excel find "Variable"->from this you can find the various variables used in the catalog.

u can either run tcodes st01 or st05 in the backend and run the iview in the front end and u can get the list of fms in the back end
or if nwdi is installed check the model in the corresponding dc in nwds .

Raising Exceptions
There are two ABAP statements for raising exceptions. They can only be used in function modules:
RAISE except.
und
MESSAGE.....RAISING except.
The effect of these statements depends on whether the calling program handles the exception or not. The calling program handles an exception If the name of the except exception or OTHERS is specified after the EXCEPTION option of the CALL FUNCTION statement.
If the calling program does not handle the exception
· The RAISEstatement terminates the program and switches to debugging mode.
· The MESSAGE..... RAISING statement displays the specified message. Processing is continued in relation to the message type.
If the calling program handles the exception, both statements return control to the program. No values are transferred. The MESSAGE..... RAISING statement does not display a message. Instead, it fills the system fields sy-msgid, sy-msgty, sy-msgno , and SY-MSGV1 to SY-MSGV4.

just have to decide what exceptions u want and under what conditions.
then declarethese exeptions under the exceptions tab.
in the source code of ur function module.
if
like this u can code .
now when u call the function module in tme mainprogram.
if some error occurs and u have declared a exception for this then it will set sy-subrc = value u give inthe call of this fm.
in the fm u can program these sy-subrc values and trigger the code for ur exception.

in se80 select functon group and put your table function group name there and click display. it will show you the function modules used for that tables.

activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)
