How to find values ?

Hello friends,
I am new to OIM and I get hanged on one functionality.
If one of the user updated his details in USR table, then I want to catch which columns values he has changed. I want to catch Old values for that particular column as well as new value.
e.g. Suppose, one user changed his firstName then I want to catch his Old firstName and New firstName
and send mail.
if suppose another user changed his firstName, lastName and Department No. then how to catch these values dynamically and send mail.
Please help me to solve this problem.

but fileds like Attachment Type , Document Status , Line of Business , Business Year and Country of LE are not coming
as i frontend is a CRM custom application to mentain opportunity .
at prasent i am passing attribute Names and default values of these fields to properties structure but then also i am unable to see it in front end.
Please help if anybody knows where to find the NAME and VALUE fields for thse parameters.

How to find value in internal table

Hi,
I'm trying to search a value in internal table by using the FIND TABLE syntax but there's an error message saying In CHAR MODE a character-like, or in BYTE MODE a byte-like field is expected as the row type for the table "ITABLE". The internal table already has character-like field.
Here's the code:
FIND ALL OCCURRENCES OF w_itable-ordno IN TABLE itable RESULTS results.
Wherein:
w_itable-ordno contains the value that I need to find
itable is the internal table that has data

Hi Kathy,
I dont think you can use the given syntax in unicode envoirnment.
As i understand, you are trying to find a value in your internal table. Why dont you make use of LOOP or READ statements. That would be a better option.

Simple "Find" question -- How to find values in cells with formulas?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't find the answer. I have a table with values that are all computed via complex formulas. I want to FIND, say, when the value is 19. I can't find a way to do it: If I use the "find" command and type 19, the program finds when 19 is written INSIDE the formulas, e. g., it finds the cell where a formula is thus defined:
=Table Correct Responses :: A19
but does NOT find the cell with VALUE 19.
Tried different syntax combinations without success. Any idea?

My two cents:
Select the entire table.
Cells Inspector.
Define a rule like the one I uses here.
It will highlight the cells whose value matches the condition.

Its not possible to see the preceding document when u raise a order with reference to Contract.
After saving the order only u can see the preceeding document in number in Document Flow.
When u r in create mode of sales order u cannot see the document Flow button .. Only after saving the order only v can see the document flow..
Because at the time creation the system gathers information only. after saving only it will confirm the number of preceeding document.

     you will be having your first program values in internal table or some variables,
    when you are calling the second program you wii use like this,
    SUBMIT <Second Program Name> USING SELECTION-SCREEN '1000'

                       WITH p_r1    EQ t_r1

How my work will go
Step-1 - I am creating XML FIle which is based on code that we discused before-
Its developing xml file with data in <...inputelement> as u can see in my xml but in <..output> Element of xml its just have all column for exampe <itemoutput>

<FLD NM = "XYZ:> </FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
In 1st stage i am just generating <..INPUT> with its colums and real value from database and <..output> elements will go zero value but with colums name.
Note. I create temp table will all COLUMN which u can see in both in <..ITEMINPUT> and <..ITEMOUTPUT>
Step2.. After Generaing my xml i want to convert my xml data into CLOB not in a file. so clob will go to the VENDOR
STEP3.
I will Recieved again xml data in CLOB from the vendo in <.OUTPUT> ELEMents
for example
I send this format
<itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC"> 0 </FLD>
<FLD NM = "XYZ:> </FLD> --- for varchar2
</itemoutput>
And i will receive it
<itemoutput>
<FLD NM = "ABC VALUE"> 2 </FLD>

</itemoutput>
So will take this output valu from xml clob and will update my staging table .
Which have the same colum name as its look in xml clob.
Step- 4. I will take this value from staging table and update my original oracle database table. which i send you before.
But u leave this step becaue you dont know the staging table colum maping with original table.

How to find out value of a shipment in SAP?

Hello experts,
If I want to view the "value" of a delivery document, what are my options? From what I understand:
1) Go back to Sales Order and find value. This can be tedious as if SO has 100 items and delivery only has 50, it would be a pain to have to find and add vales of each line item that is being delivered
2) Create a pro-forma invoice. However, this can't be created, at least the way it is setup as of now, if PGI has not been done?
So, if i want to see what is the value of a current delivery document - how can I see??

Hi Akhshat,
After going through all the discussions, if you don't want to go for any enhancements to pull down the net value in delivery document, alternatively you can do the following to know the net value of Delivery document which is not billed.
In VKM4, document displayed is the delivery document and in the output section, there is a column name"Credit value" and the value displayed in this section is as follows:
Credit value
Specifies the value of the open items.
In the order, this value is
the quantity not yet delivered
the quantity not yet billed
In the delivery, this value is
the quantity not yet billed
Examples
Order
Item    Quantity   Price
10      10 PC     10 * $10 = $100
In a schedule line, 6 pieces have been delivered. In another schedule line, 4 pieces are still open.
Credit value = 4 * $10 = $40
Delivery for the first schedule line
Item        Quantity
10          6 PC
This item has not yet been billed.
Credit value = 6 * $10 = $60.
Hope, it suits your scenario and you can ask your accounting team to look this section for the net value of the delivery document. Suggest you to please test your cases before advicing.

hi,
Go to transaction ST05,Click activate trace with filter,Give the transactio name as cj31,Go to the transaction and navigate to the place where the particular field is present, then again go to st05 ,Deactivate the trace and display the trace.
Now u can see how the data is fetched ,U can even go to display mode of the same transaction cj33

How to find out the max/min value of one field corresponding to a second field in HANA through graphical way.

Hi,
I am trying to find out the latest delivery date(EINDT) for each purchasing document (EBELN) through graphical way.
The view contains other fields apart from the above mentioned two fields.
When only the two fields (EBELN, EINDT) are there, then in semantics, I can select 'Max' as aggregation to get the maximum value for each document.
If I do like this, then I need to join more than 3 views and also so many joins in calculation view. Taking so much time for data preview.
Hence , please help me in getting the solution while the view contains other fields also.

if only two fields are then I can get the max/min values of one field corresponding to other field.
But more than two fields are there with different values, then let me know how to find out the max/min value of a particular filed corresponding to the 2nd field with other fields also should be in the output.

How to find the most matched values in the set of map?

Hi friends!
I have two vectors
vector<int> V1; vector<int> V2;
and a map<int, set<int>> M1;
I want to select common values from both V1 and V2 and check those values with the set in the map M1.
For example:
V1 contains;
2 4 6 8 9
V2 contains;
4 5 6 9 10
M1 contains;
1=>1 2 5 9
2=>4
3=>5 10
4=>2 4 8
5=>4 9
6=>4 6
7=>9 12
When we select the common values of V1 and V2 it is 4, 6, 9.
And we search for all 4, 6, 9 from the values of M1 which give more appropriate.
But, no all values in the set of map.
Then, we delete any value from 4, 6, 9, then remaining values would match any values from the map.
From the example, if we delete 6, then remaining 4, 9 will match with 5=>4 9, or if we delete 9, then 6=>4 6. Any one of the keys can be selected.
I know how to select the common values from V1 and V2, but I do not know how to match with the values and select the appropriate key from M1.
Could anyone help me to solve this?

This is not the question you asked, except perhaps in the subject. The subject is not the right place to put key features of the question. It is also important to use the body to ask just the question you want
answered. For example your real question has nothing to do with V1 and V2, just the common vector V (e.g. 4 6 9).
One way to solve your problem would be to create a new map
map<int, set<int>> M2;
with the same keys as M1. Each set of M2 should contain the elements of V that are
not in the corresponding set of M1.
Then pick the key of M2 that has the smallest set. If that set is empty, then the whole of V can be used. Otherwise the smallest set tells which elements of V have to be removed, and which is the desired key of M1.
In your example, key 5 of M2 will contain just 6, so you should remove 6 from V and select key 5.
