HOW TO FIRE ALV'S ON_SELECT EVENT(NOT ON_LEAD_SELECT )

Hi,
I have created dynamic ALV and it's multi-selected.
I want to check the selected row value when the row is selected.
What I want is The ON_SELECT event like the standard table UI element. But I can't find the ON_SELECT event in ALV.
(ON_LEAD_SELECT EVENT is only fired when lead selection is changed. )
anyone has idea on it?
by the way the select mode is setted to cl_wd_table=>e_selection_mode-multi_no_lead.

I have a same requirment as you have. I found the note 1281200. Unfrotunately, this event was implemented in enhancement pack 2.

I�ve an application that uses a WindowListener for the WindowClosing event of a JFrame. When the user presses CTRL-Q I needed to fire a windowClosing for that frame, in order to detect it and take some actions in the class referencig the JFrame (this class has the windowListener).

Yes, that works and looks better:

} "this" refers to the JFrame.

How to fire table column model event?

I found that the method to fire column changed event are:

It's a limitation of the TableModelEvent design: you can only signal the entire structure changed (with fireTableStructureChanged), but not individual columns added or removed.
A proper solution would extend TabelModelEvent with column added/removed events and extend JTable to handle those.
Another solution is to let the TableModel define all possible columns in advance and hide the ones not wanted in the JTable until they are needed.
A dirty solutions breaks the model/view separation where the model can access the TableColumnModel to add/remove columns when needed.

these are steps to create a button in ALV and trigger an event from it..
1.Use the parameter i_callback_pf_status_set in the function module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY
i_callback_program = gd_repid
i_callback_pf_status_set = 'SET_PF_STATUS'
form set_pf_status using rt_extab type slis_t_extab.
set pf-status 'NEWALVSTATUS'.
endform.
You have to copy the standard ALV pf stauts to 'NEWALVSTATUS' and add your button.
2.You have to do the following to process the new button click.
i_callback_user_command = 'USER_COMMAND'
form user_command using i_ucomm like sy-ucomm
is_selfield type slis_selfield.
case i_ucomm.
3. to copy the standard pf status to a new one.go to the ALV screen and take the menu System -> Status. Then look for the standard pf status. Copy this to Z range and then add your new button.

How to fire event to generate insert message for the child objects?

We are in process to integrate CRM On Demand and existing Microsoft SQL DB.
We have the following problem:
For ex., we have CRM Object_1 that already synchronized with the SQL DB. CRM also has independent Object_2 and its child Object_2.1
We dicided that we want to connect the Object_2 as child to the Object_1.
The question is how to fire event to generate insert message for the Object_2 and Object_2.1?
What is the best technique? Is it possible to do it by workflow configuration or it needs to be done programmatically?

Hi,
integration events can be generated only via worklow. You will need to create separate workflows for each record type (regardless if it is child or parent) because a workflow for the parent record type will not trigger when a child record is created/ associated. Also, the association workflows will trigger only when the specific event occurs.
There is not way to generate the integrtaion events programatically. They are generated by workflows and are read/ interpreted by a code extension.

i was expecting that on netdisconnect from the client side end(which is connected to FMS) its onDisconnect event fire similarly as it fire for browser close.But when internet disconnect ondisconnect event not fires at FMS side is there any way to overcome this or any other event fire at that stage?
if it is possible to get any event on network disconnection at client sidetahn i can solve the issue.

You must be getting the "NetConnection.Connect.Closed" as info.code in the onStatus for the NetConnection.

You can do this - by not doing it the way You describe as it will not work.
a. the external hard disk - MUST BE - Mac OS extended (hfs) formatted -
UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - will work for most things - BUT NOT FOR VIDEO (iMovie, iDVD or FinalCut doesn't matter)
b. Do not alter or move any folder named
• iMovie Event's - or -
• iMovie Project's
on DeskTop/Finder - at all
All moving's of Events and Projects must be done within the iMovie Application - then connections will not break.
(move them back and see if iMovie remembers them - then do move as described above)

How do I print only the events of a particular calendar, and not all the days in between listed?

I am working on a MacBook Pro. I have multiple calendars in my calendar. I am able to figure out how to print a list of events for a particular calendar, but the list includes listing all the dates in between as well. For example, I'd like to print a list of presentations I have coming up over the next 5 months. That yields a 9 page document. Although there may be only one presentation on a particular page, it also lists all the calendar dates, even if it doesn't have an event. Does this make sense?
Does anyone know how to deal with this?

How to move Event (not necessarily connected to Projects ) and projects to new external drive

I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and iMovie11 9.0.4 have a had very stressful time trying to clear down the Movies folder from my internal drive and get it across to a new external hard drive, as my 700gb drive on my 2009 iMac is practically full. I have taken a full back-up and also created a new 1.5 TB partition on the external drive. However I do not know how to get the Events and Projects across, and for iMovie to know that every thing is now on the new drive.
Initially I copied the 2 folders using finder, which seemingly worked but then I discovered that iMovie did not display the the new events, so I deleted the 2 folders from the external drive and tried manually moving the events in iMovie. This was very slow, with lots of spinning wheels and eventually iMovie crashed. So I moved the new Event copies I did manage to create into trash, but still iMovie was crashing.
I then, thinking something had become corrupted, I tried to restore the Events folder and Projects folder from my backup, but that did not work as I got a message saying the there was not enough space to do the copies (why does it need extra space as I assume it would be overwriting the existing folders ?). So in desperation I did some forum searching and ended up deleting the com.apple.iApps.plist. Now iMovie seems to be working fine, and is displaying al the events from my internal drive (I have ejected all other drives), and I am back to square one (hopefully), however for some reason the 'month' folders I had previously created in each Event 'Year' have disappeared and all the, for example 2013 events, are now under the 2013 folder with no Month sub folders( I assume this is something to do with the preferences I had deleted ?)
I am hoping someone can direct me on the right path for getting the Events (not all of which are used in Projects) and Projects across to the new external drive, so I can free up space on the internal drive (and install Mountain Lion - my end goal).
I have been trying to do all this since 0600 this morning, so if anyome can help it would be very much appreciated.

I had a problem a couple of months ago when iPhotos suddenly rearranged the order of my Events (Why won't iPhoto let me arrange my photos?) . I was told "Use albums not events - events are not a good way to organize - albums and folder are designed for organisation and are very flexible".
Haha! I should have paid attention and read between the lines! My iPhotos were highly organised groupings - not according to date but the way I wanted them - and it was so easy to do! If the Photos are under 'Last Import' or 'Last N Months' then they are in the Library somewhere, just not where you are expecting them to be. We know this as both Last Import and 'Last N Months' are not places, just listings of elements in the the Library.
The two most common reasons that they can't be found is either an incorrect date on the camera or the Sorting (View Menu -> Sort Photos - or Sort Events, as appropriate) has changed.
Quick route to find them: Right-click on one of the images in Last Import and select 'Show Event'. This will bring you to the image in the Library.

I actually am illiterate on the use of the finder to to view photos in folders. I guess I will go to a class at the local Apple store for a lesson on the uses of finder .
My method of viewing my photos are through events in I photo.
1. Download from camera or scan in from old photos.
2 I organize photos into events by occasion, or happenings in a certain year, or a group of photos with memorabilia of a certain person from childhood and on. etc.
3. Because Iphoto does not allow rearranging as I was able to do in my old PC with Corell, I drag all of the photos to an " album" on the left side of sceen.
4. I arrange photos in "order" after which I number each photo in sequence. I do this for a few of reasons.
          - if a photo is accidentally deleted I know it. I can usually remedy this by checking my trash or
rescanning.
          - I can sort by title without complications and this holds in "album"
5. The pictures will re arrange automatially to match the album in I photo.
6. This worked great in I-photo 09 but now in mountain lion the pictures in events go back to "
sort by date" and will not hold "sort to Title"each time I photo is closed down. What a nuicance it is to have to go to view and click "title" again and again every time Iphoto is opened.

Dynamically ALV Titles Using Events - How To

Dear All,
There is a selection screen. Depending upon the selection, there will be output in ALV grid or list. This output doesn't contain any field of selection.
So the output must be grouped on the basis of selection as their common title.
Eg. If model and type are in selection screen then output something like
Model No. 1 Type No. 2
 ALV Grid for Model 1 and Type 2
Model No. 3 Type No. 4
 ALV Grid for Model 3 and Type 4
How to use ALV Events to process the data dynamically for the titles as in above case the numbers 1, 2 ,3 & 4 are present in the output table which is passed to ALV for display.

To set title you can fill a structure of type "LVC_S_LAYO" (the field gridtitle) and use the method "set_frontend_layout". You can get the current layout structure using the method "get_frontend_layout".
To set column headers you can use to get and set the fieldcatalog at any instance of the runtime. For this you can use "set_frontend_fieldcatalog" and "get_frontend_fieldcatalog". At the field catalog, you can set titles for columns using "coltext", "scrtext_s", "scrtext_m", "scrtext_t" .
