How to fix few rows in ALV after filtering on a column in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi,
I have the following requirement:
In an ALV, when i filter based on a column, then this filter should not be applied to 2 of its rows.
These rows relate to totals. The totals are manually calculated as they require other component information too.
Along with the filter result, these total rows have to be displayed.
Let me know in case ALV in Web Dynpro ABAP supports this functionality.

ALV table does not support this functionality.
You can display the total in an another table instead.
I had the same requirement with total and had to display the totals separately.

There are two ways for it:
1) Creating an attribute dynamically under the Staticly defined node.
2) Creating a new node dynamically with your desired columns in it.
I am explaining the second process, Here it as follows:
1. Create a WDC, and use the component SALV_WD_TABLE.
2. Create a node in the context to store the defined strucutre name.
3. Read the node and set the structure name to that node from which you want to get the columns.
4. Use this structure name and create a new node dynamically.
5. Set the data to this dynamically created node.
6. Set this context node to ALV.
Here is the sample code:
To get the strcutre from where you want to fecth the fields.
tabname_node->get_attribute( Exporting name = 'TABLENAME'
                              Importing value = tablename ).
translate tablename to upper case.
*create sub node named TEST1 of structure (tablename)
cl_wd_dynamic_tool=>create_nodeinfo_from_struct(
   parent_info = rootnode_info
   node_name = tablename
   structure_name = tablename
   is_multiple = abap_true ).
DATA: stru_tab type ref to data.
field-symbols: <tab> type table.*Create Internal Table
create data stru_tab type table of (tablename).
assign stru_tab->* to <tab>.*Get table content
select * from (tablename) into corresponding fields of table <tab>.*get instance of new node
dyn_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = tablename ).*Bind Internal table to context node.
dyn_node->bind_table( <tab> ).*instantiate alv component
data: l_ref_cmp_usage type ref to if_wd_component_usage.l_ref_cmp_usage =   wd_this->wd_cpuse_alv( ).
if l_ref_cmp_usage->has_active_component( ) is initial.
l_ref_cmp_usage->create_component( ).
endif.*pass context node to alv
data: l_ref_interfacecontroller type ref to iwci_salv_wd_table .
l_ref_interfacecontroller =   wd_this->wd_cpifc_alv( ).
l_ref_interfacecontroller->set_data( dyn_node ).

How to open print dialog from web dynpro abap application

Hi experts,
I have a web dynpro application with several views and onone of the view there is a button that should open print dialog with printers list and all other options (standard print dialog we see in windows). I did reserach on SDN and came to now that this is a limitation of web dynpro abap. I did find some code also but unfortunately our current version of ABAP(7.0) do not support the code I found. I am not able to find any proper solution for this. Could someone please let me know how I can open a print dialog by clicking on a button in web dynpro abap? Any sample code or any information would be greatky appreciated.

If you are using the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. In methods SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY.
in layout structure you will find field SEL_MODE
pass :
LS_LAYOUT-SEL_MODE = 'A'.
In PAI.
CALL METHOD GRID->GET_SELECTED_ROWS
    IMPORTING
      ET_INDEX_ROWS = T_ROWS
      ET_ROW_NO     = T_ROWID.

first i explain my sap script, i have print void check in my script client give readymade format means box are there, lines are there. i have to fix in box and line data form database table. everthing is working fine. i got all data. i have total 6 window in my script .but i have one issue In my sap script in header window total five rows... like below

now sometime check voucher is balnk....

because of that all rows are move up side and all window also move up side and so script not fix to the box and line all data are seen not perfectly... so guru`s how to fix the row and window in script....

Follow the below steps . Definately your issue will bve resolved.
Let us suppose you are printing following fields
PH &v_text&
PH &v_text1&
PH &v_text2&
you will get the output as you expected.
and if you have any conditions for these fileds
/: if v_text is not initial.
PH &v_text&
/: endif
PH &v_text1&
PH &v_text2&
if you have data in each field then you will get output as expected .
But when v_text is initial.
the data will be moved up wnhich is happening in your case.
so what you need to do is?
/: if v_text is not initial.
PH &v_text&
/: else
PH (Here you need to mention empty line with same paragraph format
/: endif.
PH &v_text1&
PH &v_text2&

If you see an "error 4013" when you try to restore your iPhone, try these troubleshooting steps:

You can create Button in your ALV table column with below code
DATA lo_button              TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_uie_button.
CREATE OBJECT lo_button.
    CALL METHOD lv_value->if_salv_wd_column_settings~get_column
      EXPORTING
        id    = <your column name>
      RECEIVING
        value = lo_system_select_hdr.
    lo_button->set_enabled( value = abap_true ).
   lo_button->set_text( value = 'Avaliable List' ).
    lo_button->set_tooltip( value = 'Avaliable List' ).
    lo_system_select_hdr->set_cell_editor( value = lo_button ).
And for button click action,
Create a method (say SHOW_DATA( ) ) with on_click event handler.And when you click button on your ALV table, SHOW_DATA( ) method will trigger.

Web dynpro ABAP- small issue after EHC1 upgrade

Hi All,
We have a Web dynpro ABAP report and it was working fine before the EHC1 upgrade. After the upgrade we noticed that the row count in ALV greed was disappeared.
The report used to show 25 records per page and we were able to jump to the other pages by clicking on row count that was placed right below the report. Now report shows all the records and we only have scroll down option.
Any idea where to look/ how to fix this issue?

In addition to applying that note, you also must deactivate Lightspeed rendering. To me that's too extreme of a thing to do just to get paginators. You loose the huge rendering performance improvements and it also means you can't use any of the new UI elements from 7.01.

Changing colour based on cells for ALV in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to change the font color for some cells of ALV in Web Dynpro ABAP. I am able to change the font color for whole row or whole column but need to know how to change it based on cells.
My output should be something like the picture attached to this discussion. The coloumns/cells where I need the font colour can change for different rows, based on some internal condition.

Your requirement can be achieved as below
Create an attribute for each column of alv i.e. COLOR_F1, COLOR_F2, COLOR_F3...... COLOR_F10 of type WDY_UIE_LIBRARY_ENUM_TYPE in the context node which holds the color value
Now while configuring ALV, set the field name of semantic color for each column as below
               data lv_color_fld_name type string.
               data lo_text_view type ref to cl_salv_wd_uie_text_view.
          loop at lt_columns into ls_column.
          concatenate 'COLOR' ls_column-id into lv_color_fld_name separated by '_'.
          lo_text_view ?= ls_column-r_column->get_cell_editor( ).
          if lo_text_view is bound.
          lo_text_view->SET_SEMANTIC_COLOR_FIELDNAME( value = lv_color_fld_name ).
          endif.
          endloop.
Set the color based on the condition
         loop at lt_data into ls_data.
                    if ..... "your condition here.
                    ls_data-color_f1 = cl_wd_text_view=>e_semantic_color-NEGATIVE.
                    ls_data-color_f2 = cl_wd_text_view=>e_semantic_color-POSITIVE.
                    elseif...... " another condition
                    endif.
          endloop.

How to configure SSO for web dynpro ABAP (not web dynpro Java)

    I am testing SSO in IDES for web dynpro ABAP (Not for web dynpro Java / not for portal). When I am entering url of web dynpro application in web browser like internet explorer, then it should ask for user id and password first time, after login whenever user would access that url, it must not ask for user ID and password (url would be access web browser in mobile). For this I select to configure single sign-on for web dynpro ABAP. I have done below works:
1). I have created a web dynpro application having url: http://susws076.sap.swk:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zadb_hello_world2
2). I run TCode SICF and access service node to "Zadb_hello_world2". Double click on it, hit change. pressed "logon data" tab, select "Alternative logon
     procedure"
   Then deleted all logon procedure other than "SSO Authentication" and saved.
3). Go to "STRUST" and create certificate, choosed "Environment==> Logon Ticket" fill the required parameters and execute. It is OK (no red traffic
     signal).
4). Execute TCode "RZ10" to change profile parameter, insert new parameter (indicated by red arrow)
After all this settings I opened a browser enter above URL and hit enter but there is an error
There is no login page. It directly showed this error page. No cookies is saving.
Can anyone tell me what all the settings/configuration other than this I have to do. And is there any wrong setting done by me?

Hi Darshna,
The report result is ALV and in most of the cases we generally do not have function modules or any other easy way to get the output.
In such cases the best approach which we follow is, to run this in background mode and generate the spool and display the ouput in PDF.
But if intertactive form is not present in your requirement then we need to debug the logic of the report (if no FM or class present) and get the results and display it in the View.

Web Dynpro ABAP: Assigning of Conversion Exits in ALV

Hi,
We are currently developing a generic data display application using ALV technology in Web Dynpro ABAP. "Generic" means that the structure of the data is created dynamically during runtime (using RTTS) and that even the contained data elements are created dynamically without any relation to DDIC. The generation is based on metadata like field name, data type, length, decimals, conversion exit.
Our problem is that we were not able to find a way to assign the conversion exit of a data element ("column") in Web Dynpro ALV. Without this feature, no output conversions will take place since the data elements have no relation to DDIC. In the "classical" ALV, this could be easily done using method SET_EDIT_MASK of class CL_SALV_COLUMN.
Is there a similar method in WebDynpro ALV or at least an alternative approach to assign a conversion exit to a column or cell?

Adding rows in web dynpro ABAP Dynamic Interactive form.

Hi Experts,
I am having problem in web dynpro ABAP Dynamic Interactive form.
This is my scenario....
I have a dynamic interactive form that has buttons to add and remove rows in a table. It works fine when I preview it , but when I render, view or save it using ADS, it no longer works. The "add" button actually does instantiate more repeating rows, because I put some trace messages in to count them, but the added rows are not displayed. How do I make them visible?
In web dynpro java we write some coding in modify view to set the pdf form as dynamic
IWDInteractiveForm iForm =
(IWDInteractiveForm)view.getElement("<ID>");
iForm.setDynamicPDF(true);
simillarly what we need to write in web dynpro ABAP.
Please give me solution for the same.
