How to fix Flash
Hello;
I am looking for help. I am having an annoying problem with
Adobe Flash Player 9.0.45.0 for Internet Explorer 7. Whenever I go
to a page that uses flash, I get a flickering display whenever I
move the mouse or after I click something. It also seems that it
stops working. If someone can help me ASAP. I'd apreciate it.

1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.
System Preferences > Flash Player > Updates
Press the “Check Now” button.

Download it and quit Safari from Safari menu in the menu bar.
Follow the prompts to install Adobe Flash Player.

I have not seen this particular condition where the hardware disk icon appears but the system volume that is supposed to be below it does not. The System Disk partition would be below the HD icon indented to the right. It is usually called “Macintosh HD” unless you renamed it.

Odd. It appears but you cannot manipulate it with Disk Utility.

If it did not say Verified then it would indicate a problem. Saying Verified does not rule out problems but I think it indicates it is still breathing.

If you booted the Recovery Partition (Boot, Command-R), which it sounds like you did, then at least part of the disk is still breathing. If it took a long time to boot then that may have been a Network Recovery boot which would indicate the disk is very sick or dead.

Yes. That is the beauty of Time Machine. All your data, applications, and system preferences will be as they were as of the last backup.

Given what you reported from the Disk Utility steps you took it is unclear to me if there will be a way to repair the current volume, if you can erase and install from scratch or if you need a new disk. Before proceeding it may be useful to have an expert at an Apple store look at it for you. They may be able to revive it without a clean install or new disk.
As was the case above, it could be a good disk with a bad cable in which case a new disk is not going to help. To test this you can purchase an inexpensive external enclosure, remove the internal disk, place it in the enclosure, plug it in and then use Boot-Option to attempt to boot from the now external disk. Here are links to the screwdrivers and enclosure you would need.

If you attempt a clean install, use the Partition tab to repartition the disk, selecting one partition and with “Options…” electing a GUID partition. Then use the Erase tab, select “Security Options…” and set it to write a single pass of zeros. This will write to every sector to map out bad blocks. (If you have an SSD do not write a pass of zeros.)
If you do need to replace it I recommend an new inexpensive (~$100) and super-fast hybrid SSHD drive that has an 8 GB SSD cache that makes the data fly. Google “Seagate 1 TB hybrid SSHD”. -
How to fix Flash Player buffering entire video before playing?
I am using the most up to date version of flash (16.0.0.305), windows 7, and the problem persists across all browser (IE, firefox, chrome). Today all flash videos are buffering the entire video before playing and i can't seem to figure out how to fix it. I've gone through the entire troubleshooting from Video playback issues (i.e. clearing caches, re installing chrome, re-installing flash, etc.) and nothing seems to change it. Youtube and other premium streaming services (ex. netflix) work fine which suggests the streaming problem is specific to flash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I tried uninstall and re install both Flash Player and Chrome it self but nothing changed.
I also noticed that when i try to download something on chrome (this is the browser i use for everything), for example a movie trailer from Apple's trailer site (for example this movie trailer iTunes Movie Trailers) i right click and press Save As, it does nothing after that and after let's say some seconds the window pops up asking me where to save it, and i save it. That means that when i press "Save As" it does starts downloading in the background (like the first post in this thread states) and only wneh it finishes downloading the Chrome pop up window appear. When it should pop immediatelly asking me where to save it the moment i right click something and press Save As. At least that what i used to do before THIS whole problem started......

How to fix flash reflecting off of wall in background?
I'm trying to remove the flash bouncing off of the back wall of an image. When I try brushing over it and lowering its highlights / exposure it just turns a mucky grey. Not sure how to proceed. Help!
Flash reflecting off the background is one of those gotchas that is difficult to fix. For me, it's even difficult to do it in Photoshop. The real key is to use bounce flash, or angle yourself so that you're not shooting directly against the background. Easy to say after-the-fact, I know. I tried fixing a photo of my daughter and granddaughters that had a glaring reflection from the wall. I tried several different approaches that ended up looking worse than the reflection. But then, I'm not a real "high end" photo finisher when it comes to those types of problems.

Sounds like a hardware issue to me but the standard troubleshooting is...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -
How to fix Flash crashes and failure to load on streaming sites?
Crashes: Over the past month, I have been experiencing MAJOR Flash Player problems. The biggest problems were random crashes during ads on streaming sites: Hulu and Crackle. When Verizon and (and sometimes Maybelline) ads would play, the player would grind to a halt, have trouble moving forward unless I minimized the window while the ad played, or completely crash with a white screen and grey circle with an exclamation mark. Sometimes the problem completely crashes Firefox, not just the video screen.
Player load problems: Today, the Flash Player won't load at all on CBS.com and cwtv.com. On CBS.com, a white circle will appear to seem as if it will load, but nothing happens. On TVLand.com I have a similar experience. CWTV has just a blank black screen.
Please help! This occurs with Firefox and IE 8. I have a 32-bit XP system running SP 3. My copies of Flash are up to date for both browsers; hardware acceleration and Protected Mode are off.I did not have any trouble with the free swype keyboard on the same Android version but on a Note 4.
The one difference I noticed, however is that I have automatic updates selected. Do any other settings change? -
How to fix flash player contiually crashing?
Windows 7 32 bit, Intel 2.53Ghz cpu, 2Gb memory, machine is clean, no malware or unnecessary junk.
Install flash player successfully everything looks good, but at any website that requires flash player, it either freezes or crashes. This happens repeatedly to the point where I delete the player in disgust...until the next time a web site refuses to function without it, so I install a new (and most recent) version, and the same thing happens again. And again. And again!!!
I read in the questions that this is a common issue with many many users, so just exactly what is wrong? Why can't Adobe make a flash player that works properly? I don't have any unusual, out of the ordinary machine , just a standard garden-variety Intel Windows machine. Flash player should work, but doesn't. This is getting extremely irritating and frustrating, I'm greatly tempted to abandon all Adobe products for good, and make do without using this blasted infernal Flash Player.
FWIW I am not a noob, I've been using and maintaining PCs since Windows 3.1 so please don't take the route of "user error" with me.
Whether I choose to "continue" or "stop" this message pops up again every few moments, and this continues until finally
the Flash Player crashes... which doesn't really matter at that point because the thing has been no use at all up until then.
If anyone has a solution please email it to me: I don't have the time or patience to keep checking back simply to see if anyone

How to fix flash player, it recognizes my microphone, but doesn't record sound on websites?
We shortly I wanted to record something on http://www.musipedia.org/microphone.html so it asked me to allow usage of adobe flash player and when I wanted to record sound he didn't do it so i got to settings and checked microphone it was there and it was set on wright one os i tried to clap in front of him but chart didn't move. Next I went to audio setting on windows to check it and there microphone works fine. So my question is what is wrong why flash player won't record sound from mic? tnx in advance for replies.

I got top the linked page and set up my mic, and pressed "Record"...
I see the "scrubber" moving to indicate that it's indeed picking up the sound from my mic, but on playback, it's dead silent.
I've got a $90 Logitech porfessional headset with stereo noise cancelling mic, so I can say with pretty good assurance it ISN'T hardware on my end. The mic works with Skype, FaceTime, and QuickTime for recording.
At this point I don't really know what to do. -
How do I fix flashing blue screen on my MacBook Pro 13"?
Just recently my MBP started constantly flashing a blue screen, I've only had this computer for about 4 months. Quite annoying to tell you the truth. My ipod touch 4g won't turn on, even if i reset it. If i reset it it just brings up the apple logo for about 10-15 minutes, flashes white, then repeats the before mentioned. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Click on it , select storage, make sure allow sites to save information is ticked/selected
Select delete all then go to the advanced tab top/Delete Browse/data & Settings
then check you have the latet version should be

Google chrome has adobe flash installed and it is not the latest
you should disable adobe in google chrome and just keep adobe flash running on your mac, which has the latest version
