How to generate interrupts on TC using a 6601 timer

Need to generate interrupts on TC using a 6601 timer board in Linux. Have enabled the proper interrupt enable bits in the timer registers and can poll on the TC acknowledge bit to see it set when TC occurs, but am not able to generate an interrupt on TC. Is there a procedure or bits to be set in the pci interface to allow TC interrupts to be passed on to the processor. Am able to program the timers at the register level and am sure that I can access the timers and program them.

Bill B:
Is there anyplace I can get the docs for the registers not included in the PCI-6601/6602 RLP manual?
Apparently this global-interrupt etc register and several others are not listed in the RLP. Maybe there is a newer version which includes all the info?
Thanks,
Bob

  • How we generate Surrogate Keys without using identify column

    Hi All,
How we generate Surrogate Keys without using identify column.
    Regards,
    Manish

    There are various options
1.IDENTITY columns - simplest to implement
    2. Using NEWID(), NEWSEQUENTIALID() functions (if you want to use GUID values as surrogate keys)
    3. SEQUENCE object (if SQL 2012 and above)
    4. Using custom functions to generate keys yourself
This is an good article which compares use of GUIDs against integers as surrogate keys

    Hi

field  to achieve generate sequence no  in a list
every time a new item created in list
for this i used update list item action in workflow, its working fine but
i have a problem here user who login into sharepoint site and create a new list item
has only Create ,View Permissions only,
i created a Requesters permissions level with (Create, view ) rights only i did not  added Edit Rights
because this user only create list items only  he will not edit the list item.
    adil

    Hello adil,
If user is having "Add Items" rights then item ID should be created automatically and this is auto generate column in list.
Why you are using "update list item action"? Are you updating any other field?
If updating any other column value then add Impersonation steps in your code to update item.

  • How to generate I&Q data using NI5640R card?

    Hi there,
I know how to generate a chirp using the NI5640R card (because there is a "chirp" generation function/block), But i dont know how to generate the I and Q components of the chirp. Could someone please help me with generating the I and Q components of a chirp (i.e, Can you please make a VI that generates the I and Q components of a chirp and give it to me).
Any help regarding this will be grately appreciated.
    Thanks,

If the chirp signal you are generating is all real valued, there will be no Q component.

  • How to Generate a MDX statement using a BEX query

    Hello,
Is there any possiblity in BW to generate a MDX statement using a BEx query?
    Thanks,
    Ravi

BW does not generate any MDX statement for Bex query.I have tried ample number of times to acheive this but failed.
Like an Infocube the Query is also an object where in you can write MDX queries on BEx Queries.
As it is I never found BW rendering MDX queries. But with MDX queries you can get something but how far it helps I don't know.
RSCRM_BAPI is obsolete and it is recommended to use RSCRM_REPORT somewhere I have read ,but when I went to that transaction I never found that "MDX" button at all.
It was converted to "OLAP Check" which gave me some warning on the key figures and that's it.
Somehow I feel BW is not comfortable with MDX.

How to Generate 250 Users N-way IM Conference using Lync 2013 Stress and Performance Tool.
Please Let know the configurations to generate the XMLs. We are not able to create more than 70 users N-way IM conference though during configuration, we opted for 300 users conference for Large Conference (in custom setting).
The tool somehow does not create the number of participants as indicated. Is there any way to troubleshoot why it's not generating the expected load.

    Hi,
Would you please elaborate more about your Lync environment?
Please check if you meet the following configuration requirements:
Set the MaxMeetingSize option to 1000. (The default is 250.)

  • How to generate a PDF output using batch file in 10G

    Hello,
I am using .bat file to generate a report PDF output. I have done this many times in 6i but for 10G I am unable to do the same.
Can someone please look at the syntax below and let me know where I am going wrong.
I understand that reports are different for 6i and 10G specially .rep file but I am sure we should be able to generate a PDF file using 10G. Please let me know.
    Thanks
    IQ
    Contents of .bat file follow
ECHO Opening parameter form. Please do not close this window.
    C:\
    FOR /F "tokens=1 " %%I IN ('time /t') DO (SET _TIME=%%I)
    FOR /F "tokens=2 " %%I IN ('date /t') DO (SET _DATE=%%I)
    SET EXP_DATE=%_DATE:~6,4%%_DATE:~0,2%%_DATE:~3,2%_%_TIME:~0,2%%_TIME:~3,2%
    SET FILENAME=SEND_EMAIL_%EXP_DATE%_%USERNAME%.PDF
    CD C:\Users\Documents
    RWCONVERTER REPORT=C:\Users\Documents\send_email.rep USERID=scott/tiger@ORCL1 ORIENTATION=LANDSCAPE DESFORMAT=PDF DESTYPE=FILE
    DESNAME=C:\Users\\%FILENAME% PRINTJOB =NO

Rwconverter is not used to run reports:
rwconverter (Reports Converter) enables you to convert one or more report definitions or PL/SQL libraries from one storage format to another.
    I think you mean rwrun:
rwrun (Reports Runtime) runs a report by starting its own in-process server (not to be confused with the default in-process Reports Server), which runs in the same JVM as the rwrun process.
This bat file has to run on the server. There is no Reports installation on the client anymore.
If you want to run a report from a client, you can make a bat file that calls the report url

  • How to generate AWR report by using ttStats?

Hi all,are there any links or documents to show how to use ttStats toolkit to generate a report like Oracle AWR report?
If no links or document available, could you tell me how to use it?
In fact I want to know how to do a performance analysis for my application and perform some tune.
If any other toolkits are more suitable please let me know and of course the guide that how to use them is much welcome.
    Thanks.

The ttStats executable can be found in the <TimesTen_home>/support directory. Before you can run the executable within a command prompt, you'll need to source the ttenv.* file in the <TimesTen_home>/bin directory.
The output of ttStats -h is as follows:
ttStats [-latchstats on|off] [-display-options] [-xml file]
    [-statlevel level] <dsn or connstr>
    ttStats -s[napshot] [-latchstats on|off] -xml <file> <dsn or connstr>
    ttStats -report <xmlfile1> <xmlfile2> <-text|-html> <report_file>
Where parameters in <> are required, and in [] are optional.
    -display-options:
This option only works in monitoring mode as
screen filtering. ttStats only displays on the
    screen statistics with specified prefixes.
    Available prefix options include:
-cg, -ckpt, -conn, -db, -grid, -lock, -log, -repl,
-stmt, -txn, -xla, -zz, where the naming of prefixes
conforms to naming of statistics in TimesTen
sys.systemstats table. If no display option
is specified, all statistics are displayed
by default. For example, run command
    ttStats -cg -stmt dsn=TptbmData
to display only cache group and statement
    related statistics.
-h[elp] Print help message and exit.
-interval <secs> Collect a set of statistics every <secs> seconds
    (default=10).
Note: setting this lower can negatively impact
    performance
-xml <file> Write statistics to <file> in XML format. All
statistics will be written to <file> no matter
whether they are displayed on screen or not.
For example ttStats -xml mon.xml dsn=TptbmData
and ttStats -xml mon.xml -cg dsn=TptbmData
write the same file even if the latter only
shows cache related statistics on the screen.
-snapshot One snapshot of all statistics are saved to disk
in the specified file format, then the program
exits. This option should be used together with
    the -xml option.
    -statlevel <level>
Set the SysStats level, this value of level only
    applies to sys.systemstats table.
    -report <xmlfile1> <xmlfile2> <-xml|-text|-html> <report_file>
Compare two snapshots, and generate an AWR like
report. At present, each XML file contains only
one snapshot. The difference is computed as the
absolute value of statistic value in <xmlfile2>
minus that in <xmlfile1>. The result can be
written in HTML and plain text formats. XML is
not supported as output format at present.
As an example, you can run the utility as the instance admin user by doing something like:
    ./ttStats -s -xml tmp.xml <DSN>
You can then open tmp.xml with a web browser and see statistics about the database.
You can also compare two previously captured snaps by doing something like:
    ./ttStats -report tmp1.xml tmp2.xml -html tmpReport.html

  • How to generate a single report  using multiple Databases

    Hi All
Is it possible to create a single report using multiple databases
I am working on Database A to generate reports usually,, but now i have a second database for which the data is coming from flat files now i have to use few tables from
Database B to generate a single report,,,,, can any one help with the process

    Hi,
i didn't see this properly in your post:
but now i have a second database for which the data is coming from flat files if you have ETL then make flat files as source then create target tables in db:B itself.. .Now, import them in the rpd..
If not, import both those tables into rpd with different connections..
Create physical joins by selecting those tables and perform joins operations over db's in physical layer..
