How to get an alert when I file does not exisit in CC

Greetings,
I have a FILE SYSTEM (NFS) communication channel which should read a file from a drive and do content conversion. If the file exists, the process will be completed just fine. However, if no file found, no errors will appear, and the log will show:
11/13/07 10:06:19 AM   Polling interval started. Length: 60000.0 seconds
11/13/07 10:06:19 AM   Processing finished successfully
11/13/07 10:06:19 AM   Processing started
Is there a way to raise an exception or setup an alert in case my communication channel didn't find the file?

If u dont have any file in the source directory then how can u see the sucess message in the RWB.When u have to triger an Alert if u have any error.How u declear the Alert catagory.all depends on trigerring an Alert.
If u dont have any file then u ahve to trigger an Alert i dont think any client will require this reqiurement.
if the source directory is wrong or if u have any probelm with mapping or if ur adapter fails then alos u can triiger Alert.
U cant find this type thread in SDN tooo.

How to uninstall nightly 64 when vista uninstall does not work?

When I go to launch nightly 64 it says "couldn't load XPCOM" when. I then tried uninstalling just nightly and simply put nothing happens. I do have the generic Mozilla Firefox and in the uninstall it also shows "Mozilla maintenance services" and I recently prob a couple of months ago installed thunderbird for the first time ever though I doubt this has anything to do with any of these issues because if I recall correctly I've had this happened to me once before. One other thing i can add is i have vista ultimate with 12 gigs of memory.

Hello sebastian869, try a clean re-install and check if the "couldn't load XPCOM" issue does not exist anymore.This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

So I'm trying to get HomeDirectory + SamAccountName using Get-ADUser from an imported csv file called $csvFile

Hi! I'm having trouble opening a indd-file. It was sent to me as a zip-fil along with the used fonts and links. When I try to open the file, I'm getting this error: "Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by another application". I've tried to look up this error both here in these forums and through google, but can't find a similar case. Hope someone can help me with this. Please let me know if you need more information/details, and I'll provide. Thanks!

I'm suspecting it to come from a mac user, if that could influence the case...
It does come from a Mac, as is proven by the fonts, which are of no use on my Windows machine, but that doesn't prevent my CS4 to open it without any problem. It seems to me it's a perfectly regular CS2 file.
Just for cheers I set the file to Read-only, but my InDesign opens it regardless (again as a copy, because it's a "converted" file).
Could it be something in your environment? No network read/write privileges, insufficient free hard disk space, stuff like that?

PO PDF Error - File does not Begin with '%PDF-'

Hi,
I am working on Implementing PO PDF with XML data and RTF Template. I have created a new template in XML Publisher and followed the following set up steps
Setup / Organizations / Purchasing Options / Control TAB / set 'PO Output Format' = 'PDF'
setup / purchasing / document types / select "Standard Purchase Order" / Set the Document Type Layout to your new template.
When I view the document from PO Summary > inquire > View Document, I get an adobe reader error
'File does not begin with '%PDF-', how ever when I preview it from the template definition, it opens fine.
I tried running PO Output for communication with my custom template but I don't see the parameter 'Purchase Order Layout'. The last parameter in the list is 'Include Blanket'.
Am I missing any set up steps? However when I use the standard Purchase Order Layout in Document Types set up, the Inquire > View Document created a PDF output.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

"File does not exist . . ." error in CS3

For several years I've used InDesign CS3 without any problems. Now, when I try to open any file, I get the message, "Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by another application." I haven't done anything differently. How can I open or retrieve my files?

I don't know a lot about Macs, being a Windows guy, but I think this is not the sort of thing that the disk utility can fix. There's a folder, either in your user library or the application folder, that requires ID to have write permission, and it doesn't, but I can't tell you where it is.

Error Message** This file does not appear to be a photshop file

Okay.. so I have been researching forums and have seen this message throughout, my issue seems to be slightly different. When I am in Encore CS3 and trying to create a menu, I import my background designed in photoshop, have the buttons set up correctly, test it in the preview screen and everything works correctly, the file is recognized as a psd file, and even saves as a project in encore. When I go to build my DVD I get an error saying "This file does not appear to be a photoshop file, although when I check the properties it recognizes it as a psd.. any suggestions?

Can you enlighten me a bit. Does this mean that En has accepted the PSD, or something else.
If something else, I would also look closely at the Layers in the PSD. While I do not recall very small Layers creating an issue in En, they have been known to do so in PrPro. This is often something like a very small logo, on a Layer by itself, with nothing but transparency around it. In PrPro, a message, similar to yours is offered up, but that is in Import, and you got it only with the Build.
Too bad that the Check Project function is not a full pre-flight test of all Assets, like in InDesign, but it falls short, as it only checks for DVD-compliance in the navigation. I've filed Feature Request for more, but since En is built on the Sonic AuthorCore modules, I suppose that it's not as easy, as I would have hoped for.
