How to get effect in flash....

Lets say I have a ball in motion and I was a line trailing
behind it like a ball has been kick and it is flying
through the air how can i make the swoosh look llike it is
following the ball without using a wipe filter, because i tired
a wipe filter and it wipe part of the "swoosh" where it is
not wanted...??? Let me know if this makes since and is there
an options for this creation in flash. thanks!!

That's seems fairly complex, know what you're going for but
You might try simply dropping a series of duplicate MCs along
the balls path and scaleing them, blurring them and alpha(ing) them
down until they get removed. I'd put that code into a duplicate of
the MC and attach a new instance to the current position as the
ball is moved at an interval, then each 'blurry balls' code takes
over and runs the operations on itself until it reaches a limit,
like 0 alpha or a cetain scale then it removes itself. I would also
increase the blur as it gets smaller.
All this together should give the effect ... maybe. Probably
will take some messing with the parameter to get it to look
right.

Help... After three months I now have a flash talking type of virus that derails my games etc when using browser on the iPad Air. I've tried to clear and do what others suggested but am obviously not getting something. Right! Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks much :)

Unless your iPad has been jailbroken, it's highly unlikely that your iPad has a virus or any sort of malware. I don't know what you've tried, but if this is a browser hijack, clearing the Cookies and Data (Settings -> Safari) and the Website Data (Settings -> Safari -> Advanced) shoud cure it. If you continue to have your web surfing hijacked, it may be your WiFi router that's been poisoned, in which case it will need to be reset.

Hi guys,
I have seen that ActiveX version of Flash Player issues an
event (FlashCall) that describes using xml the function call that
the programmer has called with ExternalInterface.call method.
That xml has the form : <invoke
name="thenameofthefunction"><arguments>...</arguments></invoke>
However, regarding the NPPlugin version, when you make a
"ExternalInterface.call" flash always ask to its container to
"evaluate" a chunk of javascript code.
Also, both flash player versions (ActiveX and NPPlugin)
provide the "CallFunction" method that allows you to pass, in a
single parameter, an xml (in the same form as the one from
"FlashCall" event) describing the actionscript function (and its
arguments) to be called.
I would need to use the "xml flavor" in both directions
(flash to container and container to flash) independently of the
version of Plash Player being used (ActiveX or NPPlugin). The
reason: I do not have any problem parsing and consuming xml and,
however, I do not want to write a javascript interpreter at all.
Does anyone know if there is any possibility to instruct
flash npplugin, in any way, to describe the function calls using
xml instead of javascript?

Finally I've got the answer to my question:
It seems that there is not a feasible way to achieve that
Flash Player (Netscape Plug-in) calls into its wrapper using the
XML pattern that uses its "brother" (ActiveX Flash Player). Thus,
the solution is to interpret the chunk of javascript code in the
best way that is suitable for your (my) needs.
Bellow, for your convenience, is the answer I got from one of
the player architecs.

For the Netscape plug-in, I think the easiest thing for him
to do is
just to parse the JS coming from the Player. You don't need a
full
_JavaScript interpreter to do it. The _JavaScript code
generated always

hundred lines.

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
Do the following:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
If installing Leopard the process is similar in some respects. If you wish to begin anew then after selecting the target disk click on the Options button and select the Erase and Install option then click on the OK button. To install over an existing system do the following:

2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.

I have always wondered how people get to add black and white effect in a photograph. Anyone with tips and/or videos to show how this is done?

Start with a raw image for detail, you can adjust anything here especially shadow and highlight detail, the second button). You can then use the adjustment layer of black & white. Start with auto, but how pull the sliders around is different for each phot. If you still want to enhance certain areas I suggest color balance (under the black and white) for shad, mids, highlights.

How can I get effects automation to work?

I'm sure I'm missing something here but I can't work out how to use effects automation.
The help topic says open the automation tab click "add automation". I do that and get another dialog box where I select the effect (echo/reverb for instance) and OK that.
Then what?
I'd expected to be able to select an effects automation curve in the same way I can select volume or pan but the only curves available are still the volume and pan curves.
I can't see an automation curve for that effect or anyway of selecting what echo/reverb I want.
Any suggestions?

No, I'm still not getting any other automation curves other than the volume and pan. When I go to "add automation" I see the effects I've assigned to the track and can select and OK them but I can't see any automation curve afterwards.

I'm not sure what you're looking for.
You refer to the "automation curve". All you should see is a straight horizontal line. (the terminology can be a little confusing)
You have to add control points of automation on the line which you then move to create your own curves to change the parameter’s value over time.
To add control points:
Click the "automation curve" at the place where you want to add a control point.
If you need more details, do a search in GarageBand Help for "Automation".

You're wrong, please stop spreading mis-information.
I have a brand new Galaxy Note 2, which came out after the iPhone 5, it's running the newest android OS 4.1.1 which also came out after the iPhone 5, and I just went to Adobe's website and downloaded Flash just fine.
No tricks, nothing special, just clicked the download link, installed it, went to put locker and started wtaching "TED". Just like I do on my mac.
