I want to get the names of all the local drives that are present in hdd on local system using
ABAP. Is this technically possible. If so how.

Thank you for the info re. the main menu. Your answer I used worked; however, the menu bar all the way across is solid black. The only way I can find out the names on the menu is to point the cursor from left to right over the black bar to find "file" "edit" tools", etc. What do I need to do to get these menu titles to be seen?
As regarding the GMail --the menu bar used to have an envelope symbol which was white and outlined in red. That disappeared. I googled "mail.google.com" to try to get back my email. This didn't work. I then tried to get a different email address and password--after 8-19 attempts, this never worked. My other email (sbcglobal.net) has never returned. So I don't know where that went or how to get it back -
I just downloaded the latest version of firefox (5.0). Can I delete all the older versions that are still on my drive?
When I call up some web sites sometimes the web site comes up 3 or 4 times...how do I stop this from happening? I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. This is one reason not to let messages collect in one folder. I use Thunderbird's Archive folders so that accumulated mails over several years can happily coexist because they are effectively stored in many small folders. No single mail store folder then exceeds the 2GB or 4GB sizes that have been known to stress the OS. I appreciate that current builds of Thunderbird and a modern 64-bit OS should be able to cope, but practically I find it slows down when given huge files, so I err towards a pragmatic solution; a large number of not very big files.
Archives are searchable, and a Saved Search folder can give you a virtual composite folder allowing access to the entire Archive. -

An integrator installed biztalk in our environment to process the hl7 message flow between their source application(s) and several receiving applications. We've had problems with this set-up for a while now because some receiving applications sometimes have
problems processing the messages. Be it either because there's problems with the server that processes the messages of a certain port or because there's problems with the software/daemon/service that needs to process these messages.
The main problem with this, is that the receiving end of this isn't under our control nor under control of the integrator, but when one receive port isn't processing their messages for a while it causes a problem with all the receive ports that are on the
same handler. So other receive ports start noticing a slow-down of their incoming messages until after a while nothing gets through anymore.
What is the best practice to prevent these kind of problems? Should we just create a handler for every receive port? Because that seems a bit overkill.

The adapters are mainly file and MLLP, the MLLP adapters are already seperated from the file adapters (a handler for MLLP and a handler for file).
The problem with all the receive ports is that when one receive port isn't processing its messages (usually caused by the software processing the messages) the other receive ports on the same handler receive their messages/files a lot slower. If for any
reason the problem isn't fixed soon, the other receive ports on the same handler actually stop receiving any messages at all.
Isolating the receive port that causes the problems like la Cour suggested can work, but next time it might be another port that experiences this issue. So we are looking for a way to make sure the whole message flow isn't hindered by one port (whichever
port) that can't process its messages. Or rather by one receiving software that can't process its messages. -

Recently downloaded a trial version of CC and when trying to use the Adjustment Brush in ACR it brings up the message 'All the local adjustment controls are set to have no effect on the image'. I've downloaded this as an update to CS5 on my new i Mac. Would appreciate suggestions to remedy this. Rhonda
I think it means "the sliders are all 0 so painting adjustments with this brush won't change anything." In other words, move one of the sliders to a non-zero position, for example Exposure from 0 to 1.0, and then see what happens. You can edit the brush and change it to do something other than Exposure +1.

Write a program which is added to each user's Startup a program which updates the database with their details. If you have network scripts, this can be added to the user' network login batch script. -

when quering v$session it gives many details
but does not gives the IP_Address of the clients.
I had used SYS_CONTEXT('USERENV','IP_ADDRESS') but
it gives the details of only the current session.
But I want the IP_Address of all the clients connected and
shown in v$session.

From column MACHINE in V$SESSION, you can get the I.P. address:
SQL> select UTL_INADDR.GET_HOST_ADDRESS('localhost') from dual;
UTL_INADDR.GET_HOST_ADDRESS('LOCALHOST')
127.0.0.1In this sample I used localhost, but you can use the column. It might require some additional work (to escape windows domains for example - and ensure all the hosts are known to the system via DNS).

I have all my music on an external drive. Sometimes I would like to access iTunes, for purchases and other, without having that drive plugged in. I used to be able to do this, but something has changed and I can no longer figure out how. There must be a way.
ThanksWell, you can always ignore the fact it will automatically direct anything to a new blank library it will create on the internal drive. Just let it do it (as long as you keep track of any purchases that download, or maybe you can turn off automatic downloading ) The next time you need to use it with the external drive hold down the option/alt key while starting iTunes and select the library file on the external drive.

How to Print Multiple line items(only the one's that are selected in va22)

My smartform should print the multiple selected line items that i as a user should be able to see as the output .
In my case i dont have any program that calls the transaction va22
directly from the transaction VA22 i give the ISSUE OUTPUT TO .
The Driver program that calls my smartforms fetches the data from table VBAP .
Two cases that i get because of this fetching logic .
1. When i try to fetch the data based on only VBELN in the output i get all the items that are in the particular Quotation .
2 . When i try to fetch data based on VBELN and POSNR in the ouptut when i select multiple items and give print the first item that i i selected is displayed .
Now what i need is to print only those data that i select in VA22 .
say if there are items A, B , C, D ,E in the Quotation .
and before printing i select A , C , D then only those items should be printed .
I hope any one of the Experts can solve my problem .

I think you will need to do some enhancemwnt for this. What you can do select the lines in table comtrol and before issuing output you need to find a suitable wnhancement place where you can export the selected lines and make the corresponding change in logic for the same?.
Secondly uou can make a custom report also where user will select lines of po and print..but in this way you will need to many calculations
