How to get murrine dust theme to work? (new concept theme for ubuntu)

hello!
i just want to try and install the new concept theme for ubuntu - DustTheme!
but i don't get it to work. it uses the murrine-engine - but when i want to select it via gtk-chtheme or gtk2_prefs it does not sets the colors or anything else. when i hit apply, the standard ugly gtk-theme will be selected.
anyone here who actually uses the theme?
more information:
DustTheme Ubuntu Wiki
installed packages:
gtk-engine-murrine 0.53.1
also tried: gtk-engine-murrine-svn rev 94
please help, thanks...
bye iggy

Hrm, I'm not quite sure what you mean.  I don't see "profile" anywhere in the gtkrc - everything seems to be labeled as "style" already.

  • How to get audio on a nc4010 working on windows seven for now it only produces formed sound.

    Have gotten the original driver from the support site and installed it manualy wich it does and the sound does work. But I wont get the normal sound. It sounds deformed it cann't play any mp3 since they sound completly rotten, however youtube does it bearely clear but it does let the deformed sound hear every now and then (also depends on the movie!!)

    Did you try modifying an XP driver to see if that works?
    Try modifying one of these...

    Hopefully there is a way to make it work. I helped a person get W7 audio to work on an older PC than yours.

    Movies work differant than TV shows, music and apps. With movies, to get them from one device such as an iPod Touch to an iPad, you would need to connect the Touch to your computer first and in iTunes under the file menu, hit transfer purchases. Next connect the iPad and you can sync the movie to the iPad.
    While the iPad is connected to the computer, in iTunes, click on the iPad in the left pane and when the screen loads, click movies and from there, you can select the movie that you want to sync.

  • How to get imac 27 inch to work with asus triple mionitors to work through matro triple head 2 go

    how to get imac 27 inch to work with asus triple mionitors to work through matro triple head 2 go

    I think I got a little ahead of myself explaining my problem, so let me clarify...
    Only the one iMac is having the network file deletion problem, but it is included in the network user logon problem.  So 4 out of 5 of the iMacs have had or are having logon problems with network users accounts using mobile accounts on the systems.  2 of the 4 I have wiped and started over on and the other 2 have different network accounts being used by the primary system users.  The 5th iMac has not caused any problems except I forgot to mention that the USB on it seems flaky.
    So we are apparently full of problems.

  • My ipod touch got wet and is no longer working - i purchased a new ipod touch and want to know how i get my purchased apps onto my new ipod

    my ipod touch got wet and now is broken - I purchased a new ipod touch and want to know how I get my purchased apps onto my new ipod touch

    To restore app data, the apps have to be in the iTunes library of the computer on which you do the restore. The iPod ackup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.
    To redownload iTunes purchases see:
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

    My dad and I have shared an iTunes account for years and I just created a new apple id but I have no Idea how to get all those purchases to this new account. Help please?

    The old Apple ID (presumably your dads) owns those songs and your new Apple ID does not.  However, your dad can authorize your iD to use the songs by going to Store > Authorize This Computer from your iTunes menu and entering his Apple ID and password.

  • How do I manually transfer music with the new itunes update for Windows?  I don't want to sync my library and lose all of my music for what I have in my current library.

    How do I manually transfer music with the new itunes update for Windows?  I don't want to sync my library and lose all of my music for what I have in my current library.

    The same way it was done in every previous version.
    Connect the device to the computer.
    Right click on the device in iTunes and select Transfer Purchases.
    Why would you lose any content by syncing with iTunes?
    Is this not the computer that the device is normally synced with?

  • How to get the garbage collector to work?

    Hi,
    i have i program where i load an image scale it down and save the scaled version in an array. I do this for a whole directory of images.
    After every image i set the temporary variable for the loaded image = null and call the function System.gc().
    My problem is, that the garbage collector doesnt give the memory of the loaded image free and the used memory of my program grows with every loaded image.
    /* Reads all images from a folder an stores them in an Array of images */
         public static BufferedImage[] readScaledImagesFromFolder(String folder,
                   int maxSize) {
              File dir = new File(folder);     /* Open the Folder */
              String[] children = dir.list();          /* Get the children of the folder */
              if (children == null) {
                 // Either dir does not exist or is not a directory
                  System.out.println("No images in the folder!");
                  return null;
             } else {
                  /* Init array for images */
                  BufferedImage[] images = new BufferedImage[children.length];
                  int i = 0;
                  int index = 0;
                  BufferedImage temp;
                  String filename, fileending;
                 for (i=0; i<children.length; i++) {
                      // Get filename of file or directory
                     filename = children;
         /* Get the fileending of the file */
         fileending = filename.toLowerCase().substring(filename.length()-4);
         if(fileending.equals(".jpg") || fileending.equals(".bmp")
                   || fileending.equals(".png") || fileending.equals(".gif"))
              /* Read the image */
              temp = util.ImageUtils.loadBufferedImage(folder+"/"+filename);
              /* Scale the image down and save it in an array */
              images[index] = Util.getScaledImage(temp,maxSize);
              index++;
         temp = null;
         System.gc();
         Mosaic.sourceImageNum = index;
         System.out.println((index+1)+" resized pictures loaded from folder: "+folder);
         return images;
    How can i get the gargabe collector to work after every iteration?
    I tried to let the Thread.sleep(10) after System.gc() but it doesnt help.
    Thank you every much
    JackNeil

    Hm yes.. i now that System.gc() is only a
    suggestion.
    But i know what my program is doing and that it
    doesnt need the temporary image anymore after i have
    a scaled down version. And the temporay image will become unreachable as soon as reading the next one overwrites your temp variable. Setting the variable to null doesn't have much effect.
    It would be smarter to load the new image over the
    old temporary image and not to expand the heapsize to
    maximum.Then look at the possibitly of loading the next image into the same bufferedimage.

  • How to get Motion Tracking Mode to work?

    How do I get "Motion Tracking Mode" to work?  I click the icon and nothing happens, its like greyed out.

    scouterbsa
    Here is my check list for you to review regarding using Motion Tracking Mode in Premiere Elements 10 on Windows 7 64 bit.
    1. You need a video and with enough motion in the object in it to track it. Color contrast between the object and its background can be important to success.
    I created a DV AVI 4:3 in which I have a circle moving, and I have used a butterfly Clip Art from Premiere Elements 10 to track to track the circle as it moves in the video. In this example, you see the object only at 0 time.
    2. Select/highlight the clip on the Timeline. And then click on the Motion Tracking Mode icon above the Timeline.
    You should next see the following Motion Tracking dialog asking for a Yes or No to the question "Run
    Auto-Analyzer to track moving objects?" Click No.
    3. At this point, you will see a bounding box on screen. That bounding box should be placed using the mouse cursor on the object
    that is going to be tracked, in this case, the circle. Resize and position the bounding box accordingly.
    4. Once you have the bounding box on the object and resized, click on Track Object at the top right of the monitor.
    The screenshot below shows only the before clicking Track Object at the top right of the monitor.
    When that action is finished the bound box edges will be an orange yellow color. I have skipped over a screenshot
    for the latter.
    5. With the orangel yellow bounding box in place, next drag the Clip Art (in this case, Butterfly 02) from the Clip Art display area toward and into the orange yellow bounding box frame. The orange yellow bounding box frame will turn blue. That is the first sign of success.
    Hit the Enter key of the computer main keyboard and watch the results. The Butterfly should track the circle's
    movement in the clip. The duration of the clip and the continuity of the object's motion in the clip can be  other factors.
    If you do not succeed, try again with a different video clip (one with more movement and color contrast.
    The above is a best case scenario. If it is speech bubbles that you are having problems with as well, we will deal with them next.
    Right now it seems like you are having problems getting started rather than having a problem with a specific Clip Art that you are
    using to track the object in your video.
    We will be watching for your results.
