How to get only the date without the time in the footer of a printout?

Is there a way to get only the date without the time in the footer of a printout?

As far as I can tell, there's no built-in option to get the date printed without the time. It's hardcoded in a C++ file.
As a workaround, you can enter custom text for the footer, but it would need to be updated every time the date changed. I can think of a couple ways to automate that:
* An add-on (but I'm not aware of any add-on for this)
* External process to push a new date into prefs.js, a settings file that stores your header/footer preferences, among others (but Firefox should be closed when you update this file, and it will be read when you restart)
Not easy enough, I know.

  • How to get only partial text of a paragraph into the table of content?

    Hi guys,
currently I'm working on a manuscript based on the publication manual of the American Psychological Association.
Unfortunately, there is some sort of heading that's placed right in front of further text. Here an example:
+This is my heading.+ Now ordinary text formatted differently should follow.
Does anyone here know, how to get the text of the heading (but not the following text) into the table of content? For as far as I know I can't format the heading as a different paragraph than the following text.
By the way, I use pages'08.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Dennis,
thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately I already tried that and it didn't work. I have created several unique styles. Problem is, I need two diferent styles in *one paragraph* - one style for the "heading", which is consistent to the APA manual not an own paragraph (sorry, not my idea...), and another style for the following text. As my example above shows, the heading is followed by usual text and I may not press return after the heading and switch to a new paragraph..
It has to look exactly like this:
+heading in italics.+ Now heading is followed by usual text without changing the paragraph or starting a new line. Blurb blurb blurb whatsoever blurb blurb. The text goes on an on and an on you see.
I can't format the heading differently than the text (because if I try, the whole paragraph is formatted this way) and so I can't add just the heading to the TOC. Do you see what my problem is? Got any other suggestion?

  • How to open only one clip at a time in the source monitor?

Ok the answer to this question may be simple.. hopefully...
At the moment each time I open a clip in the source monitor it adds it to the dropdown list.
Fine... but I am opening and closing hundreds of clips in a day and after a while I noticed it seemed to be slowing down the whole PPCS5.5 system.
It appears that PP seems to be keeping each clip I open... active.
Is there a way to allow only one clip to be open at a time in the source monitor... other than having to close them all first??? (would be ideal if there was some kind of shortcut like shift-doubleclick)

SonyZ7's can record to compact flash cards as well as tape, so I generally log and transfer from the cards.

  • How to get  only latest date and other columns from table

    Hi,
    Table
       id          name        date
      123        a             2/3/2010
      124        b            15/2/2010

      123        a             12/4/2010
      125        c             17/2/2010
this is a table, here id,name, date is composite key.
I want to select id,name and date so that latest date (e.g., for id 123 date 12/4/2010 be selected) is selected for each id and each id and name should be selected once.
So what will be its query?

Almost all aggregate functions (including MAX) also have analytic counterparts. The parser knows that you're using the analytic version if the keyword OVER, followed by an analytic clause in parentheses, comes after the argument. In this case, the default analytic clause is being used, so there's no need to put anything in the parentheses, but syntax still requires that they be there.

The most obvious thought is that you have a duplicate login id.
You're trying, but I would not consider this to be well written code, for these reasons:
    1. You don't close any JDBC resources in finally blocks - no connections, no statements, no result sets. Search the forum for people with "max open cursors exceeded" to see why this is a bad idea.
    2. You create a static Connection in this class, but nobody closes it. Classes that execute SQL should not be responsible for obtaining connections; a Connection should be provided to them. Transactions are the reason: a class executing SQL can't know if it's involved in a unit of work with other classes. Somebody who knows the use case and the transaction boundaries ought to be getting the Connection, handling commit/rollback, and closing the Connection.
    3. Refactor that INSERT into three methods. You'll be glad you did someday.
    4. Your INSERT method looks like it's doing a security check, too. Isn't it a little late for that? If you must, move that code into a separate method that returns a boolean. A well-designed method does one thing well. Yours is doing two.
    5. The common JDBC idiom isn't "if (!set.next())", it's "while (set.next())". It's good to use common idioms, because it makes it easier for other people to understand your code.
But see if you have a repeated login ID.
And step through in a debugger to see what's going on.

  • How do I set up a .pdf form to save filled data without having to print the form?

How do I set up a .pdf form to save filled data without having to print the form?  I have provided my clients a lifecycle .pdf form they can use to record data for unique client meetings.  They want the ability to save their completed data whenever they use the form under a unique file name.  I've told them the only way I know how to do this is to print the completed form as a .pdf document and then save it.
Is their a way to save the data to a unique file name without printing the filled form?
Is there a way to reset the form with blank fields after saving? or to add a clear fields button?
    Thanks.

If you reader extend  a pdf using livecycle reader extensions then you can save the filled in data - this is true if you are using Adobe reader to view the PDF's. If you open it in Acrobat then the functionality is already there.

You need the password if it is iCloud locked you won't be able to activate the phone for use.
As long as he remembers his email,  you can reset the password

If it is a lock screen password, you can do a restore.
Hold down power and home for 10 seconds and release power but keep holding down home. iTunes will say your phone is in recovery mode so you can restore it.

  • How do I stop the date changing every time I edit a photo?

I have recently scanned a number of photos from negatives, and assigned a date to them in the organiser.  If I subsequently go in and re-edit a photograph, the date reverts to the date of this modification and I lose the date I originally assigned.  I have tried unchecking the box Use Date File was Last Modified if no EXIF Date Found, but to no effect.  Curiously, this only happens to photos where the day of the month is unknown - so a photo I have dated 4/6/1972 remains unchanged, but a photo dated 6/1972 reverts to the date of the latest modification.  How do I get Elements to leave the date I have assigned to the photo?  Thanks.

    [Oops, hit send too early.]
    David,
This appears to be another instance of a known bug in the last several versions of PSE.  When you invoke the Editor or the Edit > Update Thumbnails command, PSE rereads the date/time from the file's metadata back into the catalog (who knows why it does that).  Normally, when you invoke Edit > Adjust Date And Time, PSE immeditely writes the date/time into the file's metadata; so when you then invoke the Editor, it doesn't matter that PSE rereads the date/time from the metadata back into the catalog.   But if the Edit > Adjust Date And Time command fails to write the date/time into the metadata for some reason, then when you invoke the Editor, PSE will overwrite the date/time in the catalog with the old date/time from the metadata -- precisely what you're observing.
There are several reasons why the Adjust Date And Time command can silently fail to write the date/time to the metadata:
    - PSE doesn't understand the file type or the file type doesn't support metadata (BMP, PDF, Quicktime, PNG).
    - The file is marked readonly.
    - A bug in PSE's metadata handling prevents it from writing the date/time.  PSE has many bugs in its metadata handling.
I'm guessing that it's the last reason that you're encountering.
Suggestion: Upload one of the problem photos to www.pixentral.com (free) and post the URL here.  I'll take a look at it and see if I can reproduce the problem in my PSE.

If there is a problem with defining it globaly, you can define a field symbol globably and point to it. For example.  It would probably be better to define your table globably.
    report zrich_0003 .
    field-symbols: <imarc> type marc_upl_tt.
    start-of-selection.
      perform get_data.
    *       FORM get_data                                                 *
    form get_data.
data: imarc type table of marc with header line.
select * from marc into table imarc up to 10 rows.
      assign imarc[] to <imarc>.
      perform write_data.
    endform.
    *       FORM write_data                                               *
    form write_data.
      data: xmarc type marc.
      loop at <imarc> into xmarc.
        write: / xmarc-matnr, xmarc-werks.
      endloop.
    endform.
