How to get page break in PSP reports

Dear All,
is there a way to generate reports with page break using PSP .i
am going to use ORacle 9iAS/9i DB and also apart from ORacle 6i
reports.
i want to generate reports using PSP/Oracle 9iAS and i need to
have a facilty for online printing of report like with page
breaks and sub totals should come on my report...please clarify
this asap...

How to Get Page Break Before Inline TOC in EPUB?

I'm exporting a book file to epub. The TOC is created correctly inline, but I can't yet find a way to get a page break right before it.
In EPUB Export Options->Advanced, I have selected Split Document->Based on Paragraph Style Export Tags.
The TOC Header (saying "Table of Contents") has the paragraph style "TOC Heading." In paragraph styles panel->Edit all Export Tags, I have checked the checkbox for "Split EPUB" next to the "TOC Heading" style.
But, after export, there is no page break before the TOC Header.
How can I correct this?

I think basically you're doing it correctly. I've run into the same problem. What I found is that the heading in the PLACED table of contents (placed by using the Layout > Table of Contents feature and placing it onto the page) will not work for making a page break. It's a special kind of object because it can be updated by the Update Table of Contents command.
You have to do a workaround: You need to create "Table of Contents" in a separate frame and apply the TOC Heading paragraph style.
In the TOC style, DON'T include content for the TOC title. Look at the screen captures below of my TOC.

My requirement is to download the Report output into notepad format with page breaks using GUI_DOWNLOAD Function module.I don't want to use any standard options.

Hi Indra,
I would agree with Rob on this as Notepad does not seem to have a page break feature. However, there is a public constant in cl_abap_char_utilities as FORM_FEED (but not sure whether it would work for Notepad though). For line breaks use NEWLINE and CR_LF.

How to remove the page break for CSV report

Hi,
I'm working on a rdf report and have an issue with page break.
As usual there exits a page break in the report output. how do I remove it.
work around: set Page break before/after : NO
worked on margin re-size, how ever could not resolve the issue.

There are two ways to do this:
1) If you want to remove and individual dimension from a presentation, you can hide the dimension. This can be performed directly from within QueryBuilder. Within the first section of Query Builder that shows the selected measures selected and associated dimensions, simply remove the required dimensions from the right dialog panel.
2) To hide all page items within a presentation, simply add the following the property, pagingControlVisible="False", to the presentation tag in your JSP. For example:
<orabi:Presentation location="Local Computer Sales/Products/KPI Sales Prior Period and Prior Year" id="BIProductKPIs_pres2" pagingControlVisible="False"/>

How to set page setup in ssrs report level

Can any one suggest pls.
I have a SSRS report which has 50 column data.
When i am exporting it to PDF its giving me 20 pages.How can i make it in 2-3 page max.
Please suggest and also when i am exporting to excel it looks fine but when printing it its giving me two page.How can it fit to 1 page in excel

In SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), it is designed to use 2 different rules in pagination: Physical pagination and Logical pagination. Physical pagination is used to the print control and the TIFF and PDF rendering extensions. It is controlled by the
PageSize properties.
If we want to use 2-3 pages to display these data, we can modify the PageSize to work around the issue. However, if we print the report, it maybe truncated. Because the limit of print paper. Did you get the extra blank page when you export report to PDF?

In SSRS, if we have no page break in the report, we will get these data in one page when we export the report to Excel. The print layout is relate to paper size. Alternatively, we can adjust the report in Excel to work around the issue.

I insist : it is not possible with HTML to insert Page breaks. BUT, Tammie is right! You can use CSS (Cascade Style Sheet) to insert page breaks thanks to few lines of code in your HTML page.

Hello,
If you are looking for file download or view count then event handler will not work. You need to enable the analytic report to your site. Once you enable it then you can see the report within a browser or you can also create custom webpart to show count
of specific file.

I have a report (D2K) of 10 pages. Normally for getting page no.s on report, we will have a field and we will assign source as physical page no. But if give like this, i am not getting page no.s when i am generating report format as XML.

Hi,
When you view the output from the report run in batch you are presumably looking at the spool output. Because you are viewing a preview of what is sent to the printer the spool applies page breaks based on the printer parameters. When you run the report in dialog you view the report on the screen, and the spool is not involved, so no page breaks.
If you print your report in dialog then review the spool you'll find it has the page break just as the background run has.

Hi Honey,
I am not sure on ur requirement but you can achieve page break with a column using pivot view by dragging that column into section area and editing section properties to Insert Page break option.

just use:
'YOUR_STATIC_REGION_NAME' instead of p_static_id,
:APP_ID for p_app_id,
:APP_PAGE_ID for p_page_id
:APP_USER_ID for p_app_user.

NEW-PAGE is used to insert a page break ,
it can be conditional if used between IF..ENDIF
e.g. /:IF &KNA1-NAME1& = 'XYZname'
/:NEW-PAGE
/:ENDIF
If u want to Page break after displaying certain records or after some condition you use NEW-PAGE

how to get page one to animate only once in interactive pdf? I like when the document opens up in acrobat and the the page animations work but when I go to one of the pages and hit my designated home button it goes back to page one but it reloads again. As a user it would drive me crazy to have to wait for all of it to load......anyway to have that page one load once as the opening page?

I don't think you really mean animations (unless you have a placed SWF file) because things created with the Animation panel don't work in PDF. Nonetheless, you're talking about some kind of interactivity which is set to happen On Page Load.
So when you return to that page, of course the interactivity loads again.
There isn't a On Page Load Once command.
Perhaps you need to rethink why the interactivity is there. If it's important, maybe it should be triggered by a rollover or by clicking a button.
