How to get "Result Filtering Expression" Selected Value in my Sequence?

I need to implement a conditional statement(? in an expression for one of my step in a sequence.
This conditional statement would be checking "Result Filtering Expression" value set earlier in "Report options".
It will be helpful if i can get this "Result Filtering Expression" value by some property which i can check in my conditional statement.

i doubt that this will work out the way you are looking for. There is maybe only one way to accomplish that: On the fly reporting.
Further, please note that some XML reportformats does not honor that setting, so you have to use one of the other reportformats.
The main reason that only on the fly reporting possibly could supply you with the desired functionality is, that TS collects the results in the ResultList and after the whole execution of your MainSequence (including all its subs!) is finished, the processmodell creates the report. And in this step, it does not matter, how often and when you changed the filtersettings. It will only honor the last setting and this will be applied to the whole report.....

By using the given code i get the value of the selected indices, but problem here is i get the value when it get submits at the second time... First time the length of that int array is 0.

Ah, I see -- thanks. Turns out that there's no difference in speed between texts.itemByRange(), characters.itemByRange(),and insertionPoints.itemByRange(). In a document with 170 pages of text, and with the cursor in the last paragraph, the second and third lines, below (and your function), give exactly the same result:

Basicly, you should use the groovy expression in a view criteria (it's the fastest and easiest way) and call that view criteria whenever you need it.
That's if you are using ADF BC of course.

Can anybody give me an idea on how to get the latest credit limit values per each customer in the report.
I have below requiremnt.
I have cube which is having transactional data on document and customer level .and it also having master data info object in the cube which is credit management view having all the customer numbers .
This credit management view is master data info object having credit limit key figure as attribute.These credit limit are per each customer.
So we need these credit limits in the report as dynamic values .(I mean whatever be the current credit limit in the master data table for that paricular customer that should show up in the reporting).
one more thing these credit limits should roll up correctly at the HTR level.
One HTR having number of customers .
for example HTR 100 can have customer number 200,300,400.
Those 200,300,400 customer credit limits should roolup correctly at the HTR 100 level.
Example below :

We can not make these credit limits as navigational becasue these are keyfigure attributes not characteristics.
one more thing we can not make them as charatistics because we need use these credit limits to derive other calkculation. so it is not possibel to derive calculations on charactristics .

Create a formula variable of type replacement path with reference as attibutes of Credit management view and choose your key figure credit limit,say zcredit.
Now create a formula or CKF and use zcredit.
This should display the credit limit in your report as normal key figure.
I didnot get this part "one more thing these credit limits should roll up correctly at the HTR level.", may be the above will solve this too.Try it.

A function can only return one value, but it sounds like you want to return 4 values.
The one value that you return can be a record, with many columns, such as a ROWTYPE, or a TYPE that you define.
You can return an XMLTYPE that has whatever elements you want.
You can write a procedure that has several OUT parameters. (You can have OUT parameters in a function, but a lot of people find that confusing.)
In very special circumstance, you might consider returning a string that is a delimited list of values, such as '7639,SMITH,,17-DEC-1980'.
Someoneelse has a good point.
We could give a better answer if you ask a specific question, like:
"I have this table ...
I want a function such that, if I call it with these parameters ... I get ...
but if I call it like this ... then I get ..."

You can get the selected record to <ls_selection> structure in co phase 3.
From that structure you can get what ever field you want.,

How to get result of MDM validation expression with type warning?

I need to get result of MDM validation expression with type WARNING (in automatic execution),
but - method validationResult.getFailedValidations(..) returns validation if it has type ERROR,
so all Warnings treated only as success despite it returned false or true.
My question - how can I get that 'false or true' expression resut for validation.

By my opinion, hook warning exception isn't make sense because after warning message data will be change(upload).
Moreover if you start validation from WF Warning exception doesn't work at all.
If you want to do some data changes you should use and hook Error exception.

SUBMIT RFGLBALANCE WITH selection criteria, then How to get resulted itab?

Am looking to develop a similar report which is doing by SAP at detail/item level, but am looking to develop a SUMMARY level.
SAP report is = FS10N (bhind prog. is RFGLBALANCE / RFGLITEMS )
my_alv = shuld show only TOTALS / SUMMARY line
Almost the selection screen is same in both cases.
So, I wanna to use the same prog. by using SUBMIT from my_alv_report.
So, when I use
SUBMIT RFGLBALANCE
WITH ..........................
WITH ........................
AND RETURN.
then, my_alv_report control goes to RFGLBALANCE prog. there my input is processed and the output internal table is populating in RFGLBALANCE.............so, now, I wanna to get / fetch / pull this populated internal table into my_alv_repor and there by using the same for my alv display.
( I know that, if both r Z prog.s/ Z_BAPIs, then, I can use EXPORT & IMPORT )
So, pls. let me know that,

the (simplified) query at the bottom returns the following result set:
OBJ_ID Attr 1 Attr2
22674886 HAK44221 GEB132542
22674886 HAK44221 GEB92751

22674886     HAK17113 null
However, we need the number of different Attr 1 and Attr2 counted, which should result in the this:
OBJ_ID Attr 1 Attr2
22674886 3 3
We trried using "group by grouping sets", "group by" and also took a glance at "cube" but didn't manage to get the desired result, mainly due to the fact, that Attr2 may contain null values.
We managed to find a solution using a GTT or a view. Can anybody give a hint how to solve that without using temporary tables?

Depending on your data and your requirements, you may need to join some of the tables separatemly, do a GROUP BY to get attr2, and then join those results to the other tables.
I hope this answers your question.
If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all the tables involved, and the results you want from that data. WSimplify the problem as much as possible. For exam[ple, if your real problem involves 5 tables, but the part you don't understand can be shown with only 1 or 2 tables, then post sample data and results for those 1 or 2 tables only.
Point out where the query above is getting the wrong results, and explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from the sample data in those places.
Always say what version of Oracle you're using.
