How to get rid of cloud itunes and get back my real complete library

When I tried to watch something today on my apple TV it said that there was no itunes library selected.  Restarted the computer and it wanted me to choose an itunes library.  when I tried to choose the usual one it said that was not a library, so I should choose a new one.  It offered the name of itunes1, so I selected that.  Had no idea that it was the icloud itunes.  Now we only have access to things purchasd from the itunes store and that will download from the cloud.  How can I get my real, complete itunes library back?

I can't really understand what you're saying, but it seems like iTunes is looking for this file:
Just point iTunes to that file.

  • Can I get rid of my iTunes and go back to an older version?

I have had too many problems with my newer versions of iTunes. I just want to go back to an older version where I didn't have any problems. I want to go back about 2-3 versions. My dad has it on his because he never updated it and he has no problems at all.
Right now I have version 7.1.1.5
    Thanks.

I had the exact problem. It would get to about 80% "updating library" then get stuck there. I went through all the "advised solutions" and then after days of looking I found the older version.. here you go: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/itunes605forwindows.html
Let me know if it works for you!

If you used Boot Camp to install Windows you may use Boot Camp to remove it and return your drive to as it was.

  • I would like to get rid of firefox 4 and go back to the older one, how do I do this

I would like to get rid of firefox 4 its a nuisance and go back to the old one how do I do this

It's helpful to give more specific feedback if you can.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information] (copy your whole profile folder).
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4, and uninstall it. Do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Then finally you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

  • HT4623 How to get rid of YouTube desktop and go back to YouTube Moible

How to get rid YouTube desktop or how to get YouTube working when it's on the desktop version or get it back to Moible for iPad2

There is a Mobile link at the bottom of the web page, although I suspect you already found it is broken and doesn't work. To switch back to the mobile version you will have to clear the cookies and cache for Safari. You will have to log into any web sites you set to remember you again. Go to Settings/Safari/Clear Cookies and Data.
You will have to do the same in any other web browser you are using although the clear data setting may be in an other location. There is also a YouTube app available which is tuned for the iPad and does work a little better.

  • My old tool bar is not compatible with Firefox 4 Beta. How do I get rid of 4 Beta and go back to my old Firefox browser?

One of my social networks, MyYearbook.com , has it's own tool bar, which I use extensively. But, for some reason, it is not compatible with the new Firefox 4 beta, and will not load.
How do I uninstall 4 beta and go back to my older version of Firefox?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.<br />
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar

  • I was happy with the previous version - can i get rid of the upgrade and go back to "normal" for me - i don't have time to relearn everything. it's annoying.

I don't like many aspects of the updated version I downloaded a few months ago - I haven't even tried a newer version popping up in the corner of my desktop. I would like to get rid of the updated version and go back to the previous one. It suits my simple needs.

If you want to change the layout to be more like Firefox 3.6, you can do so. Firefox 9.0.1 is the current version and Firefox 10 will replace it at the end of January 2012. The only other version of Firefox that is currently supported and updated is Firefox 3.6.25, '''<u>but support for the Firefox 3.6 version is likely to end soon</u>'''.

Downloaded Firefox 3.613 and it brings Bing search engine as default. I want to eliminate Bing and get Google search engine. I removed Bing from my Programs and with about:config but I still get Bing when I open Firefox.

  • My dish app isn't working correctly the dish people said I should get rid of the app and get a new app, but the cloud keeps putting the same one back on. How do I delete this from iCloud?

How do I delete an app from the iCloud that is corrupt?

When you delete an app and redownload it, you are downloading the most recent version of the app from the App store.  In other words, it isn't stored in your iCloud account, it's only stored in the App store.  The iCloud download symbols are just links to your previously purchased apps in the App store so you can redownload them.
If redownloading the app didn't help, call Dish back as there must be a problem with the current version of the app.

  • How do I get rid of yahoo toolbar and get back my orange firefox button in the upper left corner of screen so I can use my stuff again?

Yahoo toolbar suddenly imposed itself as my log on screen whenever I booted up my computer and clicked on Firefox. Now I can't get to my bookmarks even though it told me that if I activated the new bookmark system it would transfer my old ones. It didn't happen. The toolbar has no bar for typing in a www.http address. I cannot use it and don't want it. I am using Explorer just so I can access my bookmark address, but don't like Explorer. I want my old Firefox screen back that has the little orange button in the upper left corner of the screen. How can I get there? My computer use has been highly curtailed by this unrequested invasion!

McAfee have taken the decision to rewrite the Firefox SiteAdvisor plugin to make it easier to update. This should ensure that Mozilla's fast-release schedule does not cause lengthy delays after future version updates. What it means for Firefox now though is that until the rewrite is complete - and tested - SiteAdvisor is being prevented from loading in Firefox in order to avoid the possibility of software incompatibility.
The SA rewrite is projected to take a few weeks to complete and test; it should be ready by about the third week of July, although the exact date is not being given at this stage. It could be earlier.
In the meantime, users who are concerned about the safety of websites may wish to consider WOT as a temporary substitute. WOT ratings are set by user consensus rather than by automated site testing, so WOT is not a full replacement for SiteAdvisor. It is, however, a good rating tool in its own right (I use both it and SiteAdvisor in all my browsers) and is apparently unaffected by the upgrade to FF5.
There is a discussion about this on the McAfee forums [https://community.mcafee.com/thread/36733?tstart=0 HERE]

  • How do I get rid of Firefox 4 and go back to my last version?

I hate Firefox 4 and want to go back to the previous version.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles
