How to get ScenarioVariables inside my Scenario ?

I have a package with several ODI-Variables declared inside. I want to add a procedure into this package and generate a Scenario out of this PKG
The procedure should get all ScenarioVariables of the Scenario where it is inside.
I found the Method with direct connect to WorkRepo and make a SQL like :

but there must be a different approach.
There is a documented Method called getSessionVarList() - but it seems not to be implemented yet.
Can i also use ODI-SDK for getting this Info and if yes then how ??

How to get attribute value from an object inside an object in Xpress

Does anyone know how to get an attribute value from an object in Xpress in a workflow? I have an object structured as follows:

</ResourceInfo>
I need if possible to get the name='Google Apps', which is inside the ObjectRef, so I guess its an attribute value of an object inside an object.

If the ResourceInfo object is accessible in a variable, i.e. named "myResInfo", you just have to check the Java API and call the relevant method:

I suppose reflection is needed here, but I cant figure out how to get the values of the objects inside an object...

I realized that massive int objects called MAX_VALUE, MIN_VALUE and SIZE where causing the StackOverflow, so I removed them from the analysis.
This is the resultant code. But I think it isnt accurate in calculating the real size of objects being got using reflexion.
Do you or somebody have any more suggestions?

It would have helped if you had posted your code as CODE but as it is, I could hardly read it. My guess about what you are asking is, if you want a template to return a value, just write that value to the result stream inside the template.
If that wasn't what you were asking, then please post your code in a readable format.

How to get the column index inside a dataTable

Hello,
before I get staked, there are multiple threads handling familiar topics to the one I'm questioning about but none gives an anwer. If there is one, I'm propably to less skilled to see it.
So here is my Problem: I've build a web-interface to a time-recording system. The hours worked on a certain project are displayed in a dataTable component which is generated out of a mySQL Query. Each entry (column/row) contains a inputText component to display and edit the specific value.
Editing one of these inputText elements now fires a valueChangeEvent which reads the new value and stores it in the database. For that cause I need to know the row- and column-index of the inputText component that fired the event.
Using the getClientId method from the valueChangeEvent I get some Information which makes it possible to calculate the row/column index. A typical clientID looks like "form_table:mainTable:0:_id14". "form_table" is the ID of the form the dataTable is in. "mainTable" is the id of the dataTable component. "0" is the row the component is in. And finally "_id14" stands for the id randomly given to the inputText component by JSF.
My Problem is now, that though I can calculate the column out of the[i] "_id14", this calculation is hardcoded. So everytime I add a component in before the dataTable, the calculation needs to be adjusted in the code.
The Questions:
- How to force a sensefull id indicating a column-index for the inputText components inside the columns of a dataTable?
- Nicer since no workaround: How to get the column-index inside the dataTable on a natural way? (e.g. out of the valueChangeEvent the specific inputText component fires)
After some investigation here on the board and on the net I know multiple ways to get the row index, (Things like component-binding and so on) but I can't find a answer on how to get the column-index.

As you've noticed the table gives you the flexibility to move columns around. So if you move column 0 to column 1, why would you expect to still use 0 as the index? The table manages the reordering of columns for you to make sure the data being displayed in each table column comes from the correct column in the data model.
You can manage this yourself using one of the following methods (I forget which one):
table.convertColumnIndexToModel(int viewColumnIndex)
table.convertColumnIndexToView(int modelColumnIndex)
Or, you can get data from the data model directly:
table.getModel().getValueAt(row, 0);

Be sure to do a backup before updating as protection. Photos should
be synced with your computer, music should be in iTunes, documents
should be backed up on your computer as should contacts in whatever
program you use on your computer. You should already have backups
of your important information to prevent loss in case of theft, crash,
physical damage. The question is not if your hard drive will crash but
when, and you iPhone is not a backup device nor fit for the only
source of any document, picture, music, movie, contact or otherwise
irreplaceable information.

with every of them. So my idea is to deploy two beans
contained the same class, into the one application jar

That's is not a very smart idea. Why dont use EJB security features ?
Create two roles: warehouse1 and warehouse2. Pass authentication information from those EJB clients to container when you lookup a bean home interface. (That's the reason why you' r idea wouldnt work).
Now you can specify whis warehouse can call which EJB method. Also you can check it programmaticaly with isCallerInRole method.

Problem : the work flow gets generated when an item is created. Now the workflow code is also to create another few items in the same list, so again it will generate workflow, so in short workflows are getting generated inside a master workflow. I need only
master workflow, how this can be achieved.

How to get zclass attribute's value inside "Execute_default" method

I am displaying a link in UD step under "Objects & Attachmnents".I am using zclass. I created a attribute in zclass and i am creating a instance (background task) before this UD step and i will be setting a attribute of the zclass inside this create instance method.
My problem is, if i click the link, this method "BI_OBJECT~EXECUTE_DEFAULT_METHOD" is getting executed but i am not able to get the attribute value inside this method, eventhough i am setting the attribute value before the UD step.
Pls let me know, how to get the attribute's value inside "Execute_default" method, as i need to process further using this attribute.
P.S: I tried with both static & instance attribute. I can achieve the same using ZBO but my client needs to use only class.

If you are concerned only about a couple of attributes, then you can manage with a separate copy of the data. But if the data is in bulk, better leave it to pl/sql side of validation.

Are you looking for getting the parent proc name from child proc name which is getting executed within parent proc?

How to get the caret inside a custom editor?

I was reading through old posts the other day and noticed this by Rob Camick in this thread Re: Problem in cell selection in JTable Java Swing :

Replying to my own post, in case what I ended up with is of some help to others. The desired behaviour was that anything the cell contained from the previous edit would be replaced by what the user types in the current edit, i.e.:
user starts edit, types 234, stops editing, cell displays 234...user single-clicks on cell, types 567, stops editing, cell displays 567
My code is as follows:
