I'm having difficulty on installing Microsoft Windows on Sun X6270, because I don't have Sun Installation Assistant. I'm searching it on My Oracle Support but I don't find it. where can I get it?
Please, help me about this..

How to get ADS installable

Dear All,
I am using SAP NetWeaver 7.1 SP5 J2EE trial version. Could any body conform that ADS comes with same package. I am not able to see ADS installed along with SAP server.
From where I can get ADS installable file? I do not have market place user/pwd.
As per this blog I could not get ADS installable without market place user/pwd.
My struggles with the Adobe Document Services in WAS6.40
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

I am using Netweaver 7.1 SP5 trial version. While opening server and looking for configuration in SAP Network Administrator I navigate to Adobe Document Services to install credentials I found:
Adobe Document Services: Configuration
There is no Adobe Document Services running on your system
In my SAP server installation I did not see any directory 'AdobeDocumentServices' in directory 'global'.
\usr\sap\J2E\SYS\global\AdobeDocumentServices\TrustManagerService\trust\credentials
So I manually created directories in 'global' \AdobeDocumentServices\TrustManagerService\trust\credentials and copies credentials file. restarted my server. even I am getting the same thing in SAP Network Administrator

In document you provided its written for ADS Prerequisites are:
Adobe document services are installed on your system.
I am totally confused...somebody can help me!!!

when we install jdk, we can select a directory to install it, i.e.
F:\myfolder\jdk1401
this is not JRE directory and can not be got by java method System.getProperties()

Most commercial software gives the user the oppotunity to specify the JDK they want to use. Some search for the JDK for them, but often involve a directory search. The registry trick should work, but you need to check the directory still exists. The user can move/delete it without the registry being updated, this is very easy if the drive is a network drive.
Note:
if the jdk is installed on a network drive, the registry may not be setup for each user. They can see it but it does not appear in the registry.
If you setting up a web server e.g. tomcat, it typically runs as a different login id to the user installing it. Network drives are different for different users, so network drive letters may not work. Using the UNC instead of the drive letter can get around this problem.
If the user tries to install his run anay where software on a non-windows system, there will be no registry.

I have a time capsule on ethernet that has had two machines hooked to it, a PB G4 and a MacBook Pro 15".
While on vacation, the PB G4 wouldn't boot. So I have a new MacBook that we just got and want to migrate from the last Time Machine backup.
I start the MacBook, and the migration assistant starts up. I tell it I want to restore from the time capsule. It shows the time capsule in the list.
It prompts me for a name and password. But the name is protected -- it won't let me put in a name. I put in the password for the time capsule. It says Connecting ..., and I get a dialog box that says "Checking Time Machine Backup…" Then i ran an errand, and when I came back 3 hours later, it was still stuck at the same place.
So how do I actually do the restore?
I thought about just creating a new account and then restoring what I need (the address book, bookmarks, mail, and documents). But how would that work -- how would the new account find the files from the old machine?
On my older MacBook Pro, I've used the option command to "Browse other time machine disks," but all I get is an empty selection box with the title "Choose Time Machine Disk To Browse." If I select the time capsule in Finder, I see the two sparsebundles. I've shown the package contents for the PowerBook and see 3 small files called: token, info.plist, and info.bckup. There's also a folder called bands, and it contains a bunch of files that it describes as UNIX executable files.
I'm getting desperate and frustrated trying to get restored -- especially because I was supposed to deal with some mail that I can't get to.

that should have worked. I don't know why it didn't.

mount the sparse bundle by double-clicking on it.

don't look inside that folder from finder. that's pointless. you need to mount the sparse bundle to actually see what's stored inside. after the bundle is mounted (if it mounts succesfully) you can try running Migration Assistant to migrate from the mounted virtual volume or you can try browsing it with Time machine. both should be possible.

I've been working with Microsoft support to resolve a security issue on my Satellite Pro A210, and have now been asked to use a Vista installation disk.
Microsoft says that I am entitled to an installation disk from the original supplier of my kit - Toshiba. But one did not arrive with my laptop - only a recovery disk was supplied.
How do I go about acquiring a Vista installation disk from Toshiba?

Mores is right. Toshiba doesnt offer installations CD with operating system only. you will get recovery image.

Assuming that you are using client/server forms6i, you can use the HOST command to start a DOS session and then use START.
e.g.
start xyz.doc - starts Word and opens xyz.doc
start abc.pdf - starts Acrobat, etc..
start bcd.log - starts Notepad, etc..

Hey Guys, So i did get windows 10 installed on my tablet. HOORAY or so I thought. It wont't recognize my internal activation key in the BIOS. Rather than using Migration Assistant, which can cause trouble with the PPC to Intel change, simply boot the G5 in FireWire target disk mode and manually transfer the following:
/Home/Library/Keychains (copy the whole folder)
/Home/Library/Mail (copy the whole folder)
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
You might want to look over Kappy's helpful guide for migrating, which covers the full process for a manual migration (including the above files).
