How to get the approver comments in a contianer element:asynchronus task

I am using a text editor to capture approver/rejection comments with asynchronus task. As I am using asynchronus task I am not able to send it back to workflow contianer. Could you please suggest a solution to get back the comments in workflow container.

I created a new class containing all the data needed for the dataTable (including a "String id").
And that's what I get:

How to get the approver from a wf notification in case there are multiple approvers ?

I created an ad hoc role to store mutliple approvers for a wf notification.
My question is how to get the user_name of the first responder so I can stamp the record I need to update with it.
I''m assuming it would be using wf_notifications.GetAttrText but I don't know what that attribute name would be.

Other than using the FM "BBP_BW_GET_APPR_LIMIT"are there any ways to get the approval limit of a particular user provided his username is given?

You can use the FM 'BBP_READ_ATTRIBUTES'
Pass the username in IV_USER
IV_SCENARIO will have the value BBP
and the value for IV_ATTR_SINGLE can be taken from the table T77OMATTR.

How to get the approver from a basic approval

Hi you all,
I am building a custom process which requires a basic approval. When an approver approves or rejects the basic approval in the TODO tab, I need to be able to access the approver's mskey during the process that follows the approval. I have attached a screenshot of where I require the approver's mskey.

You really aren't supposed to read the properties of active UI elements directly. Instead they should be bound to context attributes and then you read these attributes via normal context APIs. If you absolutely needed such access because this is a standard SAP WD, then consider that the WDDOMODIFYVIEW is the only part of th event loop where you are allowed access to the View and its UI elements.

How can I get the text value of an XML element in MXML ?

I can easily get the key attribute displayed in a DataGridColumn by setting the dataProvider to my variable and the dataField to "@key". But I do not know how to get the text value in a second column... Is there a way or do I need to change my XML to something like this :

yes, you'd better modify your XML structure to fit the DataGrid internals.
Since dataField pattern require each grid row item to have a named property to be displayed, otherwise you'll be forced to overcome this pattern using custom labelFunction for the particular column which will implement your custom actions on how to extract appropriate data for that column out of grid row item. It will be much more complicated than just rearranging your xml structure.

How to Get the Current Workitem id at runtime

I have a scenario, where request pending with a user who has already resigned the organization. The requirement is that we need to provide a report
of the request and with whom it is pending with along with the workitem id with a forward push button.
So that if the user identifies that a request is pending with someone he can click the record and press for the forward button and a pop-up to be showed where he can enter the userid to whom he needs to forward it.
In this scenario can anyone tell me how to get the current workitem id at run time and to save it to a custom table.
I tried with method before workitem execution, but here i am not getting the current workitem id.
Can you please suggest a good solution for this.

I think i can explain you with an example.
Here is my Scenario.
A user has raised a Gate pass and it went to all approval's and got approved and the material is also sent out from the plant. Lets take the date as 1.1.2013 (A Warehouse person have done the checking and sent out of the plant).
On 1.3.2013 some of the material has been returned and a material inward request has been raised and now the warehouse person has to do a inward checking and to sent it back for the initiator for the approval, but the warehouse person has resigned the organization on 1.2.2013, now the workitem is pending with the warehouse person who has already resigned.
My scenario is once the material inward request is created and before the workitem is delivered to the warehouse person i need to get the workitem id and to store the workitem some where.
So that in future if any warehouse dept head wants to forward the workitem which are lying in the person inbox who has already resigned he can do it via a report using this workitem id.
So, can anyone help how to get the dialog workitem id before the workitem creation or execution. I tried with "method before workitem execution" but my break point is not triggering at this point.
