How to get the cancel event of inlineDocument-style dialog.

Hi experts,
My customer has a question about ADF dialog framework.
When we open new inlineDocument-style dialog from af:commandButtton, how can we get dialog cancel event?
[Sample code]
<af:commandButton id="cb2" action="dialog:test"
windowModalityType="modeless"
text="dialog:test" windowHeight="500"
windowWidth="800"
windowEmbedStyle="inlineDocument"
useWindow="true"/>
When we use af:popup, it has popupCanceledlListener attribute so that we can handle the situation where users click close button or Esc button.
Does dialog have a similar feature?
We can set a returnListener for dialog, but it doesn't work in case users click close button.

Atsushi

  • How to get the closing event (not closed) of Dialog control

    Hi All,
    I have one requirement, that I have to close the Dialog box in an animated way like on clicking of the Dialog close button the popup has to close from top to bottom in a slide effect.
    sap.ui.commons.Dialog
    When I tried closed method of Dialog, it is calling only after dialog box closed but, I need the closing event rather closed event.
    I am putting a UI5 view in Dialog as I need some custom/dynamic content in the dialog.
    Please suggest the solution for this.

  • How To Get The CLOSE Event In a JSP File?

    Hello everybody,
    Right now I am working in a JSP project which is about access log, when the users start , oprate, or close the system, the access log system works. I am in trouble in that when the users close the system, how can I get the close event?
    The JSP file contains the following fields :
    Close Window
    How to add code to get the CLOSE Event and submit to the service?
    And If I hit the "Close Button"(on the right-top of the window), how can I get the CLOSE event, too?
    Can anyone tell me?

    1. Add a hidden field:
    <input type="hidden" id="status" value="">2. modify <a href="index.jsp" onclick ="parent.window.close( );">Close Window</a> with <a href="index.jsp" onclick ="closefn();">Close Window</a>3. Add a javascript
    <script language="javascript">function closefn(){
    document.getElementById('status').value="close";
    document.form.action="";
    document.form.method="post";
    document.form.submit();
    parent.window.close( );
    }4. Now on the action page get the value of status by request.getParameter("status"); and log it.

    If not you can use image component with clientListener and serverListener to preform your requirement set clientListener click event and then inside clientListener java script method call the
    serverListener then will execute serverListener method.

  • How to get touch cancel event on button

    Hi,
    I want to implement one button like when user clicks this button, it will fire one method and when user cancel the touch from button, it should fire another method using touch cancel event. I think that i need to set two method on buton.
    Anyone knows how to do this?
    Thanks.

    If you're making the connections in IB, just ctrl-click on the button to bring up the floating black connections panel. You should see all of the button's control events when you expand the Events group. You may connect as many of those events as you wish, either to different action methods or to the same action method. You can also make the same connections in the Connections Inspector.
    To make the connections in code, just add as many actions as you want. E.g.:
    [button addTarget:self action:@selector(touchButton) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside];
    [button addTarget:self action:@selector(cancelButton) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchCancel];
    You probably don't really want the Touch-Cancel event, which is normally quite rare and has little to do with "Cancel" in the usual UI sense, but the above will work for you regardless of which events you choose (unless you were actually trying to describe a toggle). For a description of all the events see Control Events in the UIControl doc.
    If what you want is an ON for touch down, and OFF for touch up, you can choose those events from the list I referred to.
    If in fact you want a toggle action (first touch ON, second touch OFF), that would be done by connecting the Touch-Up-Inside event to a single action method and branching the code on a BOOL instance var that would alternate between YES or NO.
    Hope that helps!

  • How to get the creation date of an event/meeting

    I need to implement some control rules on booking conference rooms depending on the creation date and start date.
    For example:
    - the booking cannot be accepted if the meeting start date is less than 2 hours ahead
    at 3:00 PM I can book the conference room for a meeting starting at 5:05PM
    but not for a meeting starting at 4:55PM
    - the booking cannot be accepted after 5:30PM for a meeting starting the next morning before 10:00AM
    at 5:45PM I can book the conference room for a meeting tomorrow at 11:00AM, but not for a meeting at 9:45AM

    Hi Michel,
    how to get the creation date of an event/meeting?When you use the calendar sdk to fetch a meeting there is an Icalendar(http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2445.txt) property called CREATED with the creation time in UTC.
    For example:
    - the booking cannot be accepted if the meeting start
    date is less than 2 hours ahead
    at 3:00 PM I can book the conference room for a
    meeting starting at 5:05PM
    but not for a meeting starting at 4:55PM
    You would want to implement these rules with with the sdk? That would implie that users connecting to the calendar server with any other client than the calendar sdk could still book these resources whenever they want.
    Or you would want to go an validate all the meetings once they are already created?
    Cheers,
    Jean-Philippe

  • How te get the event of SAVE button in WDDOPOSTPROCESSING method

    Hello,
    am using an application that was configured with FPM, and my question is  how can I get the event wehen the user click on the save button in the method WDDOPOSTPROCESSING?
    will explain again!
    if the user click on the save button, how can I know or get the event in the WDDOPOSTPROCESSING?
    am talking here about the general save button in the header..
    please let me know if somebody knows
    thank you all

    just to make it easy for me,  the save button has an ID , i dont know how to get that ID  or where that action will be generated , i dont know where to implement my method, and this is the problem i dont know where or which method or class or IF will be genareted
    the SAP Developper are taking this case into consideration , because normaly all the data will be stored first in a buffer table, and after the suer clicks on the SAVE button, all the data will bestored in the corresponding INFOTYPE using the CP of the person, but in case of some INFTYPEs that are specified with 'P' instead of 'CP' we can't use the SAP Standard methode insert_infty , and this is the reason why i believe that there must be an alternative way to save all DATA of all Subtable by clicking only once on the save button.
    I foundout that the methode WDDOPOSTPROCESSING will be generated after clicking on the SAVE button, but as I said, i can't get the corresponding event ????
    please is somebody has an Idea, am still interessted to get the solution.
    thank you all

    No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.
    But the MacBook Pro will have none of it! I write this question now as I fear that I will be totally demented very soon and unable to formulate my thoughts clearly!
    Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
    By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.
    That would depend on what you are trying to do.

  • How to get the ItemKey for a Workflow triggered by an event in Oracle Apps

    Hello,
    I have added a custom sub process to the seeded "OM Order Header" workflow. The process sends a notification. There are a few attributes in the body of the message tied to this notification, to which I am trying to assign values to using the syntax:
    SetItemAttrText (itemtype, itemkey, attrname, attrvalue).
    I have the internal names for the item type and attribute name, but don't know how to get the value for the item key. I understand the item key is supposed to be unique for each item type and is automatically generated by the workflow engine when the work flow fires. Is there a built-in function or some means to get this value?

  • How to get the full path instead of just the file name, in FileChooser ?

    In the FileChooserDemo example :
    In the statement : log.append("Saving: " + file.getName() + "." + newline);
    file.getName() returns the file name.
    My question is : How to get the full path instead of just the file name,
    e.g. C:/xdirectory/ydirectory/abc.gif instead of just abc.gif

  • How to get the value from Advanced table

    Hi,
    In the Advanced table have 2 LOV fields, I need LOV field value dynamically in the controller to validate the save button, if iam not selected any value in lov save button will not allow to save the data. In the table i am using 'Add another row'. How to get the lov field value in the process form request??? and how to do this requirement
    Thanks
    Naresh

    1. You can specify required property on LOV field to "yes". For events where you wish to disable the client side validations, set the property disable client side validation to "true".
    2. If above behavior is not what you are looking for, then you need to handle in AM and not CO.
    a. Call an AM method from CO.
    b. In that AM method, get handle of VO.
    c. Iterate the VO Rows and check for your validation rules.
