How to get the Data Record Number in BI 7.0?

Hi All,
In our requirement we need to load the Data Record Number in the DSO. I got the Request ID and Data Packet Number but not the Data Record Number.
Does anyone has any idea?

When the data is activated in DSO, it is written to the table of active data, where it is then available for reporting. Requests are sorted by the key of the DataStore object, request ID, data package ID, or data record number.
You just load the data to the DSO.....and activate it.......it will autometically get generated.......You cannot load it from one DSO to other beacuse in this case Change log table is used........and this filed is in active table..........I think you need this fir reporting purpose.....so load it and activate the DSO......then it will be available in your active table for reporting.........because reporting is done on active table.......

but I want to show along with original line number i.e 1 when the item_name is entered .
Here I want to check the original Line_Num and want to display the message
'Item is duplicated,Update quantity in Original Line 1'
Can anyone help me to get this?

HI Indra,
From Node A, get the values of the attributes as
lo_NodeA->GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES( IMPORTING STATIC_ATTRIBUTES = ls_attributesA ).
Similarily get all the node values from B, C, D and E.
Finally append all your ls records to the table.

How to get the current month number

Hi everyone,
Does anybody know how to get the current month number in Oracle Discoverer Worksheet calculation?
I try to use EUL_DATE_TRUNC(CURRENT_DATE, 'MM'), but instead I got 01-AUG-00.
If I change the data display format to MM, it will give me "08" but if I use TO_NUMBER function to convert it to number I get error "invalid number"
Is there anyway to get the current month value in number? Thanks

You should be able to run the following command in mounted mode on standby database.
select current_scn from v$database;
then run the following to convert it to timestamp.
select scn_to_timestamp(99999999) from dual; *<-- Replace here the SCN value you got above. This needs to be run on the primary database due to standby database in mount mode.*
Alternatively you can also check at the alert.log file to find the last scn which has been applied.

Hi,
Create a multiprovider which includes transactional data target and master data info object. Make sure that identification for this master data info object is ticked on both the provider.
Create report on this multiprovider , keep the master data info object in rows , and now you should able to see all the values which are there in master data info object irrespective of transaction happened or not .
Next you may create condition showing only zero keyfigure values , ie. master data without any transaction.

First of this not hte mysql or database forum so don;t repeate again.
to get diff between two date in mysql use date_format() to convert them to date if they r not date type
then use - (minus)to get diff.

can any one say me how to get the date of first day(date of Sunday) of a week for a given date in a BW transformations. For example for 02/23/2012 in source i need to get 02/19/2012(Sunday`s date) date in the result. I can get that start date of a week using BWSO_DATE_GET_FIRST_WEEKDAY function module. But this function module retrieves me the start date as weeks monday(02/20/2012) date. But i need sundays(02/19/2012) date as the start date. So it would be really great if anyone sends me the solution.

Hi,
The simplest way would be to subtract 1 from the date date which you are already getting in transformation routine, but instead of doing that subtraction manually which might need bit of errort, you can simply use another FM to subtract 1 from given date.

Use IW format - it will make solution NLS independent. And all you need is truncate 7<sup>th</sup> day of each month using IW:
