How to get the Day of the Month and Date on Home Screen

The home screen has the signal strength on the upper left, the time in the middle and the battery status on the right. What is missing from my old phone (really, really old phone) is the day - like Sunday, and the date - like the 20th. I have to go to a calendar program to get what should be available at a glance, just like the time.
Can this be done?

If you put the Apple calendar app on the first screen, it shows the day and date (no month/year). E.g Sunday 20.

I am trying to formulate an update query for a flag table in our database which contains dates, and flag columns. Currently the system have dates for the next ten years. The flags are updated with values 0 or 1 if a particular date falls under the required criteria.
I need to update flag column for the same day of the month in every year. e.g. 2nd Sunday of October. The value should be updated to all years in the table. Currently I am using the following query to update the current year.
UPDATE FILTERCALENDAR SET YEAR_WINDOW=1 WHERE c_date = NEXT_DAY( TO_DATE('OCT-2013','MON-YYYY'), 'SUNDAY') + (2-1)*7;
and for next year Like
UPDATE FILTERCALENDAR SET YEAR_WINDOW=1 WHERE c_date = add_months(NEXT_DAY( TO_DATE('OCT-2013','MON-YYYY'), 'SUNDAY') + (2-1)*7,+12)-1;
This is not an excellent way to do it as it does not take care of leap years and it does not scan and update values in the whole table for all years correctly.
Can any one help me to resolve this please.

In the case of a DML operation (such as UPDATE) the sample data should show what the tables are like before the DML, and the results will be the contents of the changed table(s) after the DML.

What i need is that all members whose birthdate is in the curren month will be included as having had their birthdate regardless of the date of the month. The code i have is:

The asterixed line is what I need to change. If I put the end of the current month (where I put 'end of current month') then all those whose birthday month is in Feb will show as having had their birthdate. So if run today, folks whose birthdate is 26-feb-2005 will show an age of 5.
When grabbing the last day of the month using visual basic I just use the first day of the subsequent month minus 1. Any assistance is appreciated..

How to get 1 day less than user entered date

There is a user entry for date. If the user enters 20060427 then the report should run for 20060426. I tried giving 'LT' in the CMOD code. But it gives an error. Can anyone pls help. Is there a function module for this?

Hi Suja,
You can use Less Than and Greater than for a user entry variable as follows: When you right click > restrict the char, then in the pop up box there is a drop down for Selection. Choose Value Hange here. Then in the drop down to the right you will have values ike Between, Less Than, Greater than...you can select as required.

For this program, i need to: take in day, month,year of a date as int argument, return the day of the week for the date entered in App()
In Main: call the App() to get the day of the week to display when user enter the date in dd/mm/yyyy
StringTokenizer is required for this program.
- How can the arguments pass back to main by returning of month & day of the week?
- Program cant take in int and return as string

I feel like a bunch of dementors sucked the life outta me, I need chocolate and alcohol to help me feel better... eeeek!

One thing that I finally had to do when I got my phone on MotoMaker was to buy it outright, after getting an account with Motorola--that way I could get a customized one with 32GB storage. I recall that I could not get it in that size with the usual contract term with Verizon. The Edge option for some reason was not available to me either, don't recall why.
But by buying it through Motorola credit, I could spread the purchase price over 12 months--kind of Edge lite. Then when my contract status changed over to month-to-month instead of the old-fashioned 2 year system, my line charges went down to $15 per month, as it would using the Edge option.

Getting the day of the month

I think it is kind of odd that the "day" property in the Date
class will only return the day of the week and not the day of the
month... How would you go about getting the day of the month
selected lets just from a DateField entry... so lets just say some
one does something like this

It give me back the day of that particular week in the
month... but I really don't have any use for that... I need the day
of the month! How would I go about getting that?

yeah... I know the "date" property returns a numeric value of
the current month, day and year... but I was hoping there was a
property of some sort that I could just use instead of having to
parse the numeric value returned for what I want..
