How to get Unique calid for users with same name in multiple domain env..

I found we need to use "-k legacy" option for creating users in non-hosted setup..
I had two domains default as xxxx.com and the one that I created as yyyy.com
When I have users with same name in two of the domains as user1..
The calid for both of them is... user1 ....so they share the same calendar
When Im in valid SSO of yyyy.com I get the mail account for user1 as [email protected] .....but the calid .. common as user1
How I can get unique calid for users under two domains..
whether I need to set Hosted domain support...Then how the mailid's differ with out using hosted domain support..
And I need to login UWC without using @domain.com...

Do you have UWC and Cal configured at least for virtual domain support?
basically.. for discussion.. let's say you have three domains on your server.. 1st domain is the default domain. other 2 domains are virtual domains.
if all domains were created with mail and cal support (-S mail,cal).. you would use the following options when creating users:
1) for the default domain.. you must use the "-k legacy" option when adding users.
2) for the other two domains.. when you create the user.. do NOT use a "-k" option.
If you do not use the "-k" option.. it defaults to "hosted" which will cause the user's calid to be [email protected]
If you Do use the "-k legacy" option.. it will create the calid as just "userid"
With regard to logging into UWC without the @domain.com part of a username in a hosted domain.. the easiest way to avoid this.. is to point a host name under the hosted domain to the server.
if you point webmail.xxxx.com to the server... and then access it via:
http://webmail.xxxx.com/uwc/
any users in the xxxx.com hosted domain will NOT need to use @xxxx.com when logging in... they can just use "userid"
This feature does not take any special configuration (aside from adding a DNS entry for the hosted domain)

How To Show Different Artwork For CD With Same Name?

In 2002, Chris Botti released a holiday CD named December. In 2006 he also released another CD named December with the only difference being track 2 (Ave Maria) & track 7 (I Really Don't Want Much For Christmas which are not included on the 2002 release. These are not additional tracks but replace 2 songs from the original 2002 release. The album art is different for both CDs. So, how can I show these two CDs with the same name and same artist but with different artwork in Cover Flow mode? Help!

If you store Album artwork the way i described using Command I (get info) - then the artwork is actually EMBEDDED in each song and is carried with that song wherever it goes.. and in this case it doesnt matter if u had 3 copies of the same album - all identical. You could even save a diff image for each tarck if u wanted.
If there is no artwork embedded, then coverflow places the image in a separate folder that is only referenced by iTunes for the whole CD.
You also might want to turn off coverlfow and continue doing what u had been doing in the past - add you won.
I also think i know what may be happening. You say they are identical except for track 2 - But problem is - I don't think iTunes can handle 2 identical CD's from the same artist.
Here's an experiment:
Goto any of the songs.... right-click and select "Show in Finder" the Finder will open and show you the song file and its location. Do you see one album once or 1 album twice?
If you see 2 of everything, i would recommend the following:
Rename the first album "December (2002)" and the second "December (2006)" then iTunes will definately separate them out.

Unable to protect 2 computers with same name, but different Domains

DPM 2012 R2 and UR2
All DC:s and servers are 2012 R2 + Latest patches.
ad.A.com has full 2 Way trust with ad.B.com. (Different forrest)
DPM Server is DPM.ad.A.com
Computer EXCH.ad.A.com is protected without problem
Computer SQL.ad.B.com is protected without problem
When I try to attach agent from EXCH.ad.B.com I'll get problems.
Error 346: DPM is unable to retrieve the configuration information from EXCH.ad.B.com
I'll guess this has to do with same name of computer, although in different domains. Is this as Designed, or is it a defect?

please try a different User to attach/install the DPM Agent.
if this is not the solution, you maybe have a Problem with wmi, try and test with wbemtest

I have data in the following format:
PO no Subfield Created date Changed date
123              A               01/01/2011        20/01/2011
123              B               01/01/2011        20/01/2011
124              A               01/01/2011        25/01/2011
124              B              01/01/2011        25/01/2011
I want to get unique number of PO's which has difference(changed date - created date) greater thn 20days and less thn 20days.
So I want to get in report:
PO no >20    <20
123             ____        1
124            1       _____
I know to get unique PO number and how to calculate two dates difference in days by using formula variable replacement path.
But how to incorporate these two functions.

How to get content assist for Facelets with ICEFaces 1.8,RAD 7.5,+WAS6.1

We use RAD 7.5 and WAS 6 to run ICEFaces 1.8.
I added Facelets by following the instructions in ICEFaces "TimeZone Getting Started."
When I installed Facelets, I found I was missing el-ri-1.0.jar. So I googled the jar, found one from lord-knows-where, and stuck it in. It did the trick.
Facelets works great, but I don't have content assist for ui.

Hi Soma,
that will not work. The measure is related to Activity id. The measure value per row is not value for LastActivityid.
I want to show the measure value for last activity id and not this activity id. So there is an indirect relationshipid. Ideally the path would be :
Activity id --> Figure out the last activity id for this activity id --> Get the measure value for last activity id..

Open Vi reference for Vis with same names

Using VI server, is there any way to open reference to a VI on the hard disk even thought a VI with the same name (but different path) is already loaded in memory? I'm trying to see if it's possible without renaming and making sure every single VI I use has a distinct name.

Just prefix or suffix your module name to the original VI name, so that you SDs will have VIs with same/similar functionality, but never conflict with each other when called during run-time. We have gone ahead with the extent of packing all the DUT SDs (LLBs) into one complete auto-installer, so that in the target PC, everything get unbundled & installed into the appropriate folders that we have added while creating the installer.

Misrouted emails to .mac users with same name as person at different ISP?

In the last 6 months I've received emails from strangers with .mac addresses whose prefix (eg jimbo@) is the same as the actual name of someone in my address book who isn't a .mac user. It looks as though mac is looking at the name, searching for a .mac user with that prefix, and misrouting the email to them instead!
Any ideas? Is it possible? Any fixes?

I wrote an email to a friend nicknamed Alleycat. I had not put
Alleycat in the name fields in address book, but it is the prefix
of the email address, which goes to her website. Forgetting this,
I carelessly typed 'Alleycat' in 'To:' and it came up as the blue button
which indicates mail knows the address (which it should not have done),
so I hit Send.
The Mail.app stores all message recipients in the list of Previous Recipients in Mail by default and the Mail.app autofill feature pulls from the Address Book and the list of Previous Recipients in Mail.
At the Mail.app menu bar, go to Window and select Previous Recipients. A previous recipient already entered in the Address Book will have a vCard icon to the left of the name or email address. You can add a previous recipient to the Address Book or remove a previous recipient from the list. Removing a previous recipient from the list of Previous Recipients in Mail has no effect on Address Book entries.
A week later I got a worrying personal response from a totally
unknown (but real) [email protected], and the friend Alleycat
had not received my mail.
Do you save all sent messages? If so, is this sent message still available in the account's Sent mailbox to view the email address in the To: field?
The Mail.app autofill feature does not make up an email address. As previously provided, the autofill feature pulls from contacts in the Address Book and from the list of Previous Recipients in Mail.
Regarding being infected by a Trojan written for OS X, this would require opening an attached file that is masquerading as something legitimate and you would also be prompted for your admin password before the malicious script is installed.
You cannot be infected by anything targeted at OS X (which are few and far between anyway) by opening an email message alone.

How do I see jpg and TIFF with same name

When I view a directory with a like-named file but with Tif and Jpg extensions, LR tells me tif+JPEG, but still only shows one. Can I show both?

The problem is the same as before with the exception that it will see pairs--jpeg + tiff or jpeg + raw and maybe it will see RAW + tiff with the same name. Didn't check.
For myself, and my colleagues, we have to be able to see Tiff,jpeg, Psd and RAW with the same alpanumeric name. That is an industry standard, and, of course, available in Bridge 2.1/ACR 4.1 and dozens of other apps as well.
So, our solution is Bridge 2.1, and that's fine, it has a better UI, is faster for workflow--though the new Library improvements have reduced that gap by about half--so, perhaps in the next version, this issue will be fixed--or perhaps not. If we didn't have Bridge, that might cut a bit deeper, but as it is, so what!
Mark Hamburg has given a good description of the implementation in another thread about RAW + JPEG. Suddenly, there is lots of Adobe official interaction--THAT's GOOG--but he would have saved a number of us a lot of waiting and involvment had he simply indicated the same name limitation long ago--obviously, this was not a last minute piece of code! Better late than never :)

How to auto populate numerous pdf files with same name and address?

I have numerous pdf files where a company's name and address will need to be entered onto each file. Would there be a way to enter this information once, say on an excel file or something, and then have this information auto populate all the correct fields in each and every pdf file I have to fill out. I am a complete rookie with Adobe Acrobat. At any one's convenience please let me know or point me in a direction where I can possibly learn this for myself. If Adobe offers this type of service please let me know which department to contact.

If you were an InDesign user, you could layout the document there, and use the Data Merge feature to bring in the names and addresses from Excel. Then create a PDF of the resulting file which could be split into individual PDFs.
There might be a way to do it similarly with Microsoft Word and Mail Merge.

Search multiple folders for files with same name and create single file

I have a project where I need to search multiple folders for a file name and when found append data from each file to a single input file.
Example
root folder to start search
\\servera\sales
\\servera\it\salesa\cmmstr.txt
\\servera\it\salesb\cmmstr.txt
\\servera\it\salesc\cmmstr.txt
I need to create a a single cmmstr.txt on the root folder. I would like it to be able to run this with parms to pass in folders to search and file names to search and single file name to create. I'm going to have a least 10 differnt files to
search for and create output file for. The folders to search
will somewhat be static.

I tested this out on my own seat and I think it should work for you. I wrote it as a function, all you have to do is pass the root folders you want to search and the file your looking for. The function will then search that directory and all sub directories
for that file name. you will also have to provide it a file to append to, if the file dosen't exists the function will create it. If you run into an issues let me know and the links Mike

Hi guys, this is the screen saver after i upgraded to Yosemite. I knew wifi have problem, but i'm still okay with it. Another problem that i'm facing now is this!
I don't really understand what's the number meaning behind my username which is the number (7), i've never seen this before. Sometime it will turn to 2, 3, 4, or maybe 5. This problem force me to quit some software because it said i'm using same license with multiple user, but i'm the only one who using this username!
I don't understand what happen with this, i've try to read and change almost everything in the preferences. I've try to google everything too, can anyone help me? I really don't want to format my macbook. I've never register same username even i'm in a office.

Yes you can. You will need to set the 2 domains up as virtual mail domains.

Go to transaction SUIM, this has a number of reports for users/authorisations
open the Where used>Autorization Values>In Users
and double click to execute
in authorisation object, enter S_TCODE
then press the "Enter Values" button
It will offer entry boxes to put the transaction code you are interesed in.
Then execute and the list of users with access to this transaciton code will be returned.
