How to get VBELN in run time

I have developped a custom driver program and a smartfor layout for sales order confirmation. And configured the program and layout against a output type.
I go to VA02>Type an order number>
Choose 'Issue output to' from Sales document menu. Then I will select the output type and press print preview button.
In this case my custom driver program is called. My question is during this run time how do I get the VBELN for the current document that I have entered? Based on this VBELN, I am going to fetch the required data.

I believe it should be coming in thru NAST as the object key?  In our custom print programs for sales documents, there is entry routine in the program which is defined in config.  The subroutine is called and NAST is avaiable during runtime,  the OBJKY is the field with the sales document number in it.

form entry using return_code us_screen.
  clear retcode.
  xscreen = us_screen.
* Retrieve misc data.
  select single vbpa~vbeln vbpa~kunnr adrc~name1 adrc~street adrc~city1
                adrc~region adrc~post_code1 adrc~tel_number
                adrc~fax_number
                   into corresponding fields of formdata
                      from vbpa
                        inner join adrc
                           on  vbpa~adrnr = adrc~addrnumber
                              where vbpa~vbeln = <b>nast-objky</b>                                and vbpa~parvw = 'AG'
                                and adrc~date_to = '99991231'.
endform.

  • How to get system date and time?

    Can someone show me a code on how to get system date and time.
    Thanks!

    there is one really easy way to get system time, the api gives a great example of code on this. use gregorian calendar, which you'll find in the api under GregorianCalendar. You only need to create one instance of GC, ie Calendar time = new GregorianCalendar();
    you save seconds, minute and hours into int values, so you don't have to access the system time every second, you can create a thread which adds one to the int second value, if oyu see what i mean, for example, i have saved the hours, minutes and seconds as int values;
    int hour, minute, second;
    i can then create a thread (Thread thread = new Thread(this) and run it like:
    Calendar time;
    int hour, minute, second;
    Thread thread = null;
    public MyTime() {
    hour= time.get(Calendar.HOUR_OF_DAY);
    minute = time.get(Calendar.MINUTE);
    second = time.get(Calendar.SECOND);
    if(thread == null) {
    thread = new Thread(this);
    thread.start();
    public void run() {
    Thread t = Thread.currentThread();
    while(thread == t) {
    thread.sleep(1000);
    second++;
    if(second > 59)
    minute++;
    if(minute>59)
    hour++;
    formatTime();
    public void formatTime() {
    second = (second > 59? 0 : second);
    minute = (minute > 59? 0 : minute);
    hour = (hour > 23? 0 : hour);
    System.out.println(hour+":"+minute+":"+second);
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    new MyTime();
    I know this looks like gibberish but it should work. If not, try to fix the problem, i have written from memory really but i guarantee you, this gets the time then every second, simply adds one to the second and then formats time. You can also access the day, month and year then format them using the above code. I don't like giving code since you should really do these things yourself but it is 2:04am, i have nothing better to do and i am not tired so i did you a favour - i have become what i always did not want to, someone ho stays upall night writing code.

  • How to get rid of the "time out" when using DAQ AI in the example program

    I try an example file called "AcqVoltageSamples_IntClkDigRef" (Visual C++ .NET). It works great. However, if the program has not recieved the data, it sent out a timeout message. How to get rid of the "time out"? I cannot find anywhere in the code. Is this a property I have to reset somewhere else?
    Thank you,
    Yajai.

    Hello Yajai,
    The example program will use the default value for timeout, 10 seconds. To change this, you will have to set the Stream.Timeout value. I inserted this function into the example and set it equal to -1, and the program will wait indefinitely for the trigger signal without timing out. Please see the attached image to how this was implemented.
    I hope this help. Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Sean C.

    You have no permission to create a report. You have to create a permisson-entry into your server.policy. Then it would be work.

  • How can I test the running time of a method?

    c.What is the running time of your method smallest, as a function of n, the number of elements in the list? Use big-Oh notation.
    I quoated from a java problem..
    Anyone can tell me how I can test the running time? Thanks ! :D

    it depends on what is in the method. For example a for loop executed n times would have a O(n). A double for loop (each loopp run n times) will have O(n^2). Do this: determine how many times each loop in the method is run. This is the first term in your runtime equation. Do this for all other loops in the method and add them all together. Most other statements that are not iterative should have a constant runtime so O(1). For conditional statements, the runtime depends on the most time consuming portion of the statement. Once all these are added together, take the O(equation) which should just leave the biggest term. i.e. O(5n^2+3n+8) = O(n^2). Hope this helps.
    note: this does not apply to recursive methods

  • How to Get Duration, Start/Stop Time of Each Instance (Run)

    Can someone tell me how to get the Duration, as well as Execution Start/Stop times for a given run (Instance) of a Report, stored in History?
    For example, on the BO Server in InfoView, I can browse the History of each report, and for each run, I can click the details and view the Duration and Start/Stop times for that run. How do I get that information in Java via the SDK?
    Neither IProcessInfo nor ISchedulingInfo seems to have this information.
    For example, ISchedulingInfo's Start/Stop Times are for general scheduling (when the report will stop being scheduled). That is not what I want.
    I need specific data for a given completed Run, namely its duration and time endpoints. Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
    fetch the instance of the run like this
    IInfoObjects list = infoStore.query(
    "select SI_STARTTIME , SI_ENDTIME From CI_INFOOBJECTS Where SI_ID=<instanceIDtoMeasure>"
    IInfoObject element = list.get(0);
    Date startTime = element.properties().getDate("SI_STARTTIME");
    System.out.println("Beginn "+ startTime);
    Date endTime = element.properties().getDate("SI_ENDTIME" );
    System.out.println("End " + endTime);
    long time = ((endTime.getTime() - startTime.getTime()) / 1000);
    System.out..println("Runtime " + time + " sec");
    You can get the nstanceIDtoMeasure form your Report with getInstances
    Enjoy

  • Need step by step instructions on how to get Lightroom to run in Windows

    First I downloaded Lightroom successfully using newest version of Creative Cloud. It would not run. Literally, nothing happens.
    Then I found some info online that says when Lightroom CC doesn't run, you must uninstall it and download it from the Adobe website instead of using Creative Cloud.
    When I try to download it in either Firefox or Chrome, I get this error message "Firefox/Chrome doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (aam) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context."
    After a lot of searching around, I discovered that I needed to download the Adobe Application Manger. I did so but it calls itself the Adobe Update Management Tool. Very confusing.
    Then I went back to the Adobe website and tried to download Lightroom again and got the same error message.
    Next, I ran the Adobe Update Management Tool and clicked on Get and Install Online Updates which seemed to be the only relevant choice. In the dropdown box under Select Product Type, there are many Adobe programs listed but Lightroom isn't one of them. I gave up on trying to download Lightroom directly from the Adobe website.
    I then re-downloaded Lightroom successfully using Creative Cloud. It still would not run.
    Next I found some info online that says you have to go into Appdata > Adobe > Local and rename the OOBE file to OOBE.old, so I did that. Lightroom still would not run. I rebooted. This time when I tried to run Lightroom, I got the screen where you have to accept Adobe's terms and conditions. I did so. Lightroom but still would not run.
    Is there anyone who has been through this and knows exactly what steps in what order I need to take to get Lightroom to run? I have Photoshop CC and it runs without any problems.

    You might reboot and try the other Solution #1/2 items, again.  Since you did so much hacking which may not have been related to the issue, there may be something else not right because of it.
    You also might try uninstalling and reinstalling LR 5.5 from the cloud, again, or installing the LR 5.5 standalone update from the Adobe updates page:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
    You also might try uninstalling your all Adobe software, running the CS Cleaner and installing, again:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
    You haven't said what other Adobe software you're running.
    Is this the very first time you've tried to run LR on this computer or have you upgraded from previous versions that worked ok?

  • How to design report at run time SSRS

    most of the time we point store procedure or table and then SSRS report designer show us field and we just drag drop those field on to report designer surface. after all we call those report programmatically and pass parameter and report shown on report
    viewer.
    now my company want that customer will customize the report who will see the report. they want to display all the fields in a form and just customer will select each field and place on report designer surface and give some input like filter condition like
    date range or employee id etc and report will be shown. also at run time if customer want they can add text or move existing field etc.
    i do not have any idea how could i do this with SSRS. if this is possible with SSRS then please guide me in such a way as a result i can start the job or if possible give me few relevant url of that kind from where i can get the idea. thanks

    You can also use report builder application to get most of these functionality. For that you'll just create and deploy a report model with required attributes from involved entities.
    Then use can consume the model within report builder and add required fields to report,filter etc

  • How to Load Classes in run time - Urgent

    Hi All,
    How to Load a class file from a .jar file in JDK1.1 with out using URLClassLoader. I have tried to extract the .jar file by file input stream and zipEntry classes and defineClass using the bytes i got from the stream , but the class loader fails to take the classes that are already loaded in the system.
    The customClassLoader that i created was not able to assign an object to the another reference variable that already in the JVM.Please i want to know how to assign or communicate between the objects of CustomclassLoader and SystemClassLoader?
    Please help me in this regard.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
    The above code works in the straight way if the class is available in the classpath.
    I need to load a class by using custom class loader that i extends from classloader base class .
    I have to read a class file from a .jar file (in server) and load it in run time.Here i am able to read the bytes from the .jar file of the specified class file, but the class that i read extends some other class that is already loaded when i tried to create newInstance of the class i get Exceptions. Here the custom classLoader cannot find the loaded existing class in the JVM.can i get a solution for this situation

  • How to get Adobe programs running?

    I am running Adobe CC on a Windows 7 machine, 64bit. The machine has registry software (PC Mechanic) and McAfee antivirus. I have 8 gigs of RAM and a dual core CPU. When I run Adobe, I tend to also have a web browser like Opera running in the background. Windows is used exclusively for Adobe software. I have frequent issues with Adobe programs, like Dreamweaver or Photoshop not being able to launch. Or getting errors like "internal signature error". I have called Adobe technical support, who logged onto my computer several times, but their technicians are consistently stumped. Collegues suggested I simply uninstall and reinstall the software. That worked at first, now the programs will no longer launch---even if reinstalled.
    Adobe seems unable (or perhaps just unwilling to help). It is suggested that Adobe simply cannot work on the Windows operating system. Rather, the programs are made for MAC computers, not Windows.
    Does anyone have suggestions on how to get Adobe CC to run on Windows 7?

    Hi Ikhider,
    I am running Adobe CC products on a Windows 7 64-bit system too. I also use McAfee anti-virus software as well.
    For troubleshooting I would try first shutting down everything running in the background not required by right-clicking on the icons in the system tray and choosing quit or exit.
    When launching the Adobe apps try right clicking on the icons and choosing Run As Administrator and see if that makes any difference
    The Resolve product launch freezes or problems section of this document might help:

  • How to get 'clover.cmd' running as Windows service?

    Right now I have the InDesign instances all running great as services so on a server reboot they start up fine. The clover/lbq part is  just the .cmd script and it's not running as a service. I looked in the documentation but haven't found any info on getting clover to run as a Windows service.
    Anyone know how to set it to do this? I'm on InDesign CS6 (server).
    thanks.

    This information is in the Install Guide that comes with EAS.Running EAS as a Windows service is an option you can select when you install it. If you did not do that, you can set it up to run as service by doing the following: (From the EAS Install Guide)----------------------------------------Adding Administration Server as a Windows ServiceYou can add Administration Server as a Windows service, even if it was not installed as a Windows service.?To add Administration Server to the list of Windows services:1. From a command prompt, navigate to the following directory: EASPATH\eas\server\bin2. Run the following command: install_service.batAdministration Services installs the Windows service as Hyperion-Essbase_Administration_Server Windows service. A message displayed in the command prompt window indicates that the service is installed.3. Start the Hyperion-Essbase_Administration_Server Windows service. See ?Starting the Administration Server Windows Service? on page 49.The Hyperion-Essbase_Administration_Server Windows service is set to start automatically each time you reboot.
