How to handle component's resize event

Hi All,
Can someone tell whether you can in any way to capture component's resize event, e.g. panelGroupLayout?

its an event raised on the render kit, the component will not pass this on to the server.
I did not try JavaScript but there is a registerResizeNotifyComponent(Object component) on the AdfPAGE object that you may be able to register a custom proxy object to. Then when the proxy receives the resize event you would call a custom event to the srever (serverListener)

I have not been able to test the code due to SQL Exceptions thrown in the handler class, and when i try and throw them up from here i get;
LogonUI.java:52: actionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent) in LogonUI.ButtonHandler cannot implement actionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent) in java.awt.event.ActionListener; overridden method does not throw java.lang.InstantiationExceptionAny ideas on my code and how to handle these exceptions will be very appreciated. How to handle at line-selection event for 2 different fields

Hi,
The requirement is there are 2 fields in a report output.
One is Material number
and the other is Material document number.
On clicking the material number, the user should be taken to MM03 screen.
On clicking the Material document number, the user should be taken to MB03 screen.
I am able to take care of the first one by putting a HOTSPOT on material number and I am using at line-Selection event, call transaction MM03 and it is working fine
I want to know how can I handle similarly for the document number?

How to handle Scrollbar's event in the Form Block !

I want to create three Block like
Block : X-axis , Source From View
Block : Y-axis , Source From View
Block : Cell , Source From Stored Procedure.
The relation is (X-axis , Cell) , (Y-axis ,Cell).
Then , if i scroll X-axis or Y-axis Scrollbar , then Cell will change !
Problem : If X-axis Cursor record does not change , the Cell's Data will not refresh.
Can tell me how to handle the scrollbar's event , Thank.

The Cell's behavior is a matrix , the relation will execute when X,Y record is changed !
if you move the scrollbar , will chanage block's data , but the cursor record does not change another!.

as an attribute of the Application tag.

Panel resize event bug?

I'm having a bit of hassle with a panel resize event.
For reasons best known to me, I have some parallel loops monitoring certain UI behaviour and reacting appropriately.
I have noticved that when a loop which is monitoring the "Panel Resize" event stops, (No dynamic registration) the next panel resize will freeze the VI. It's as if the Event case is not releasing the handle to the "Panel resize" event.
If I handle the "Panel Resize" event via a dynamic registration and subsequent release, everything works fine.
This is in LV 8.2.1.

but this is not a bug!, it is explainable behaviour and expected behaviour.
What happens, the front panel is locked on the second edit. (use exectuion high-lighting) The event structure is always listening for events where it is registered for, even if the event case will never execute, on the first edit (key down) the event is triggered and the VI is locked and unlocked. The second edit the event is triggered again and the FP is locked. Because the event structure can't execute the FP stays locked.
Shane's behaviour is truly a bug.
The same behaviour is seen with the 'Pane:size' event. (in 8.6)

By default when you use the selection mode for the ALV as Multi/Mutli No Lead then this option is enabled.
Try to implement the event ONLEADSELECT and check wether this event is triggered or not.

you can create event handlers under the actions tab in you view. evry event handler has an importing parameter wdevent of type ref to cl_wd_custom_event.
you can also create events in your component controller and they can be handled within your views
check cl_wd_custom_event class for details about what all information you get when an event occurs.

Handle stage RESIZE.Event

I've a flash site 100x100% in browser window.
When I open new tab in browser window Event.RESIZE doesn't
dispatched.
Have any idea how to handle this event except EnterFrame or
Timer listeners?

Handling resize event ...

I have a class that extends Panel. I add some buttons
(Min/Restore/Max/Close ... top right corner,etc) to the chrome
using rawChildren.addChild. I'd like to restrict the window to
never be allowed to get to a height less than the height of the
buttons or a width less than the combined width of the buttons
(this is a generalization, I've included logic to account for
borders, etc). Nevertheless, I've tried countless approaches ...
then I tried listening for a resize event ...

width = Math.max(someMinimumCalculatedWidth(), width);
height = Math.max(someMinimumCalculatedHeight(), height);
As shown ... within the event handler, I set width/height
properties of the panel. In the case where they are different than
current width/height, it expected it would trigger yet another
resize event .... and I expected to get into some kind of nutty
event loop (as you can see ... I'm in that ** I'll try anything
...** mode). Surprisingly ... it worked properly. There doesn't
seem to be a resize event triggered when I set the width/height to
values different than they were before entering the handler? I've
perused the Panel/UIComponent source and everything I see leads me
to believe another resize event would be triggered.
So ... as strange as it sounds, I'd like to understand why
this works :-) I can't bring myself to just move on without knowing
why another resize event isn't dispatched and why I don't end right
back up in myResizeHandler ...

A lot of times I find I have to go several classes up the
inheritence chain
to find where something lives. A shortcut to this is to find
the public
class extends statement and click whatever it extends. Press
F3.

It is very strange for me, but AIEvent has no event type for handle artboard list change events.

Well, the right event type is AIEvent.DOCUMENT_CROP_AREA_MODIFIED. It is very usefull to play with EventWatcher example from Remote Creative Suite SDK Examples.

Catch the et_VALIDATE event, when InnerEvent = False and ItemChanged = True.
            If pVal.EventType = BoEventTypes.et_VALIDATE Then
                If pVal.InnerEvent = False And pVal.ItemChanged Then
