How to handle idoc documents by BizTalk without WCF-SAP Adapter?

Dear All,
our company is no customer of SAP.
But one partner company of us uses SAP Systems to generate business transactions like "INVOICE".
Then they send us such a idoc-file per email.
So I can not use the SAP-WCF Adapter by BizTalk (the download of SAP RFC SDK is constrained and only for customers) to generate a schema of such a flat file automatically.
The second problem: I believe that only the WCF Adpater can validate the structure of the infomartion in inbound idoc files.
Is there a way to solve this problem without using the WCF-SAP Adapter?
Thanks in advance

Actually I only need an idoc decoder and disassembler to import the information of the idoc file.
Is there a special pipeline component by MS?

  • Issues with creating and sending BOM XML IDOC to SAP using 2010 WCF-SAP Adapter (without using Biztalk Server)

      I'm trying to replace an existing Biztalk 2006 Send BOM IDOC process, and completely remove Biztalk server from the equation.   The existing Bizatalk 2006 server receives an input BOM (Bill of Materials) flat file, and using a Biztalk Map (BM08),
    and Orchestration, generates an Idoc and sends it to SAP.
      In my replacement C# program, I'm using the 2010 WCF-SAP Adapter, and am trying to generate the BOMMAT03 XML IDOC it to SAP.
      I generated the BOMMAT03 schema from SAP using the Add Adapter Service in VS 2010.  I was able to generate a BM08 XSLT from the existing BMO8 map in the current Biztalk 2006 process.  I am able to run a XSLT transform on the input BOM flat
    file, and generate an XML file from that.
      However, I've run into a few issues.   First of which, is that the XML file that is generated from the XSLT transform is NOT the same schema as the BOMMAT03 schema expects.  It's somewhat similar, but different enough that I have to manually
    translate between the two in my code.  I've verified that both the original Bitztalk 2006 process and my replacement program use BOMMAT V3 from SAP.  Question--Is Biztalk 2006 server doing some other magic to turn that transormed XML into the BOMMAT03
    schema?
     I ended writing code which translates the transformed XML into the BOMMAT03 schema (which is a strong typed XML IDOC at this point).
      However, when I try to send the BOMMAT03 XML IDOC, I get an exception "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
                   idocClient.Send(idocData, ref sadapterTxGuid);
    idocData is of type BOMMAT03, and I've verified that the various fields are populated.
      Any help is appreciated.

    Well, putting in a MSDN subscription support ticket for Biztalk server actually helped with the issue.  They didn't find, or fix the issue directly.  But one of the examples (https://randypaulo.wordpress.com/tag/idoc/) they sent over, jogged my
    memory, and I realized in the code snippet below, I had accidentally deleted the 1st line.  Such a simple mistake, yet was easy to overlook.  The URL example is almost EXACTLY like my code, but without the transform and translation code to convert
    from input XML file to IDOC XML.  If someone is interested in that, let me know.
    //Forgot the 1st line.
    idocClient = new IdocBOMMAT03SIEIS_WED_BOMMAT03V3R700Client(binding, endpointAddress);
     idocClient.Send(idocData, ref sadapterTxGuid);
    For anyone else interested in knowing, you CAN send a strongly typed IDOC to SAP using C#.NET and the WCF SAP 2010 Adapter, using the IDOC Binding Client class you generated using the Add Adapter Service Reference in VS2010.
    The one difference, which no one, not even the tech support from MS could tell me, was why the XSLT which I generated from the original map, did not transform the input BOM XML into the BOMMAT03 XML.  Instead, it transformed it into an intermediate
    XML, which resembled the BOMMAT03 IDOC XML, but still needed to be translated to the BOMMAT03 IDOC format.
    The tech support person swore up and down that it should.  But I believe that something happens in Biztalk server, after the Mapping occurs, maybe in the Pipeline, which converts that
    intermediate XML into the final BOMMAT03 IDOC XML format.
    I do think that the examples are severely lacking in showing how to send a strong typed IDOC using C# and the WCF-SAP Adapter.  Even worse, the examples are completely lacking in how to actually generate a weakly typed IDOC.  They show how to send
    that weakly typed IDOC, but show me, or give me a class to be able to generate it.
    I realize that this is not quite the "recommended way" to do it, but in reality, not everyone wants or even needs a full Biztalk installation.   For some simple stuff like this, a C#.NET program and WCF-SAP adapter do the trick.

  • How to receive and upload data into Sharepoint using webservice in BizTalk (without using sharepoint adapter).

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to receive files from sharepoint and upload files to share point.
    So is there anyway we can achive this using webservices in BizTalk (without using sharepoint adapter)
    Thanks in advace

    I do not have a sample flow... but if you refer to the samples where these web services are used then you'd be able to translate those code samples into BizTalk flows.. For e.g.:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ms429658(v=office.14).aspx refers to returning list items. When you add generated items to your BizTalk for SharePoint Web Services, you'd get the schemas (xmlDocs in the sample) which you'd instantiate and
    call.
    When dealing with lists, you will need the GUID of the list so you need to do a GetLists call first and then get the GUID for your specific list from that. You will also encounter CAML which is what is used to query and get List Data.
    Have fun.
    Regards.

  • Retrieving(Inbound) IDOC from SAP Error WCF-SAP Adapter

    I am attempting to retrieve data from SAP using WCF-SAP Adapter. I used the wizard to retrieve the IDOCTYP(PEXR2002) and the appropriate docrel=740. Whenever I send the IDOC to BizTalk I receive the error below.  Anyone have insight to what could be
    the problem. BizTalk is not resolving the IDOC types properly.
    Also: I am using the schema in a flat file disassembler in the receive pipeline.
    Reason: Unexpected data found while looking for:
    'E2EDKA1003'
    'E2IDBL2000'
    'E2IDB02002'
    'E2EDL02'
    'E2EDL03'
    'E2IDLU5001'
    'E2IDPU1'
    'E2IDBW1'
    The current definition being parsed is E2IDKU5001GRP. The stream offset where the error occured is 1483. The line number where the error occured is 11. The column where the error occured is 0.

    Hi Jordan ,
    This really happens when you receive untyped message from your SAP System .  Its been well described in below link
    Receiving Idocs - getting the raw idoc data
    Better option here is to create a pipeline component which will be responsible for your message parsing or try something like below
    During the configuration of your one-way Receive Location using WCF-Custom, navigate to the Messages tab. Under the section "Inbound BizTalk Messge Body", select the "Path" radio button, and:
    (a) Enter the body path expression as:
    /*[local-name()='ReceiveIdoc']/*[local-name()='idocData']
    (b) Choose "String" for the Node Encoding.
    Thanks

  • How to handle a fixed length file without newline?

    Hi Experts,
    I'd like to handle a fixed length file without newline by sender file adapter.
    A file like following.
    It contains three recores."AAXBBBXCCCCX" is one record.
    AA1BBB1CCCC1AA2BBB2CCCC2AA3BBB3CCCC3
    I tried that following two parameters set. But only first recored was read.
    fieldFixedLengths
    fieldFixedLengthType
    Please tell me how to handle.
    Thanks
    Shinya Kawagoe.

    For this case we wrote a simple Adapter Module inserting an end of line character after an offset.
    This way it can be reused in many interfaces.
    And reading the whole file may not be an option in case of large source files. May cause performance / memory issues.
    eolbean.offset = <recordLlen>
    XMLPayload xmlpayload = msg.getDocument();
    byte[] content = xmlpayload.getContent();
    byte crlf = 0x0A;
    int current = 0;
    ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    int lines = content.length / recordLen;
    do
         lines--;
         baos.write(content, current, recordLen);
         if (lines > 0) // if other lines, eol required
              baos.write(crlf);
              current += recordLen;
    } while (lines > 0);
    xmlpayload.setContent(baos.toByteArray());
    baos.close();
    Audit.addAuditLogEntry(key, AuditLogStatus.SUCCESS,     MODULE + " Done EOLing.");

  • Biztalk 2013 Wcf-webhttp adapter Issue

    Hi
    I am trying to get WCF-WebHttp adapter working but it is ending  error.
    I created a service account with Bing api (can browse this url directly by providing login credentials)
    URL:
    https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/SearchWeb/Web?Query='WA'
    These are my wcf-webhttp adapter settings
    URI
    https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/SearchWeb
    http Method and URL Mapping
    <BtsHttpUrlMapping>
     <Operation Method="GET" Url="/Web?Query='WA'"/>
     </BtsHttpUrlMapping>
    it seems template matching is failing in wcf adapter as a result Outbound URL property is not getting promoted resulting below error.
    Can you please advice what is the missing piece in this configuration?
    Error Message:
    The Messaging engine failed to process a message submitted by adapter:WCF-WebHttp Source
    URL:https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/SearchWeb. Details:The published message could not be routed because no subscribers were found. This error occurs if the subscribing orchestration or send
    port has not been enlisted, or if some of the message properties necessary for subscription evaluation have not been promoted. Please use the Biztalk Administration console to troubleshoot this failure.

    Hi
    Moreover I observed one more thing with another API if URI is brows able directly without Key it works
    Actual URL: https://ServerName/StoreMasterServices/Markets
    URI: https://ServerName/StoreMasterServices/
    Headers Info
    <BtsHttpUrlMapping>
    <Operation Method="GET" Url="/Markets" />
    </BtsHttpUrlMapping>
    This URI: https://ServerName/StoreMasterServices/
    is brows able even without Key  (/Markets) and it is working fine.
    So Question is, is it mandatory to have URI brows able (with credentials if it needs)?

  • Biztalk 2013 WCF-WebHTTP Adapter - Outbound HTTP Headers

    Hi
    I have a requirement to connect to a service using the WCF-WebHTTP adapter that requires authentication to be passed in the Headers.
    A usercode and password is sent in the intial header and a security token is returned in the response header.
    This security token is then used in the header of each subsequent call to the service.
    I could not find anything in the documentation about getting and setting the "HTTP Header" data using maps or variables or using variables in the "Outbound HTTP Headers" on the adapter transport properties.
    Any help on this would be gratefully received.
    Malcolm

    You can set the outbound HTTP header in WCF-WebHTTP adapter by 2 ways
    1) At adapter level Change adapter properties
    2)Changing Message context property at Orchestration or at pipeline
    Its been well documented here

  • How to print color document in greyscale without it being really dark?

    Recently had a customer come in and want some holiday letters printed out. They had a bunch of color photos in the document and when we printed that from Adobe Acrobat to our black and white copier, they came up REALLY black. Everything was much darker that it should have been.
    Normally we work around this issue by placing the document into InDesign and printing it in Greyscale mode from there since you can tell it RGB, CMYK or Greyscale from InDesign. Problem is, if I wasn't here, nobody else would know how to do this and they would probably have to turn the customer away.
    Our counter machine is a WindowsXP machine with the newest version of Acrobat Reader. I saw this link elsewhere here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/948555?tstart=0
    But that doesn't work. When clicking on Advanced button in the print window for Acrobat Reader, the Advanced window doesn't have anything about printing in greyscale. The copier is a Canon iR 7095.
    Any thoughts on what we can do? Basically, I want to be able to have the ladies that work the counter (and the counter PC) to be able to print color documents to the black and white machine without having a problem with the output and having to either come into my office and have me help with it, or having to turn the customer away.
    Any thoughts?

  • How to handle Canceled documents

    Hi All,
    Need your suggestions. How can i handle the canceled documents.If document is created today and is loaded into BW system. After few days if user cancels the document , then what happens to the document which is already there in the BW system. Should i have to Handle this situation through user exit by writing some code , or R/3 system takes care of this automatically ?
    Thanx in Advance,
    Durga Prasad.

    I think if you are using a Business Content data model,it must be already taking care of this scenario.
    Most probably it will load through ODS and then to Cube.
    When user creates the document,a record will go to the ODS.
    Then later when user cancels the document,the ODS will receive a record with all negative key figures(in order to cancel out the earlier record's KPI's).
    Some data models also use a 'deletion indicator'.The source system sends a record with deletion indicator = X in order to indicate that record is deleted from source system.
    Why not do some tests in your system..create a document..then pull load to BW.Observe records in PSA and in Cube.Then cancel the same document and pull another data load to BW.Again observe PSA and Cube records.
    cheers,
    Vishvesh

  • What's the best way to share footage from FCPX with an Editor still on FCP7?

    I have a lot of footage that I've been organizing & logging in FCPX. But soon I'm handing the footage off to an editor that works mainly in FCP7. Yes, I'm aware of the plugins 7toX and Xto7 that we should have, respectively, to share XML files. That
