How to handle if we need to re-load/replenish component after one SFC START
Hi Experts,
I am trying TBCT(Time Based Component Tracebility) function and would like to ask a question.
For example,
1. Resource's SLOT_QTY_DECREMENT at POST_START.
2. Material MAT_01, lot_size = 2
3. BOM BOM_01, assemble time based component COM_01 at Operation OPR_01, assembleQty =1
4. I modeling one slot configuration and set COM_01 at SLOT S1.
5. I load/replenish COM_01's inventory INV_01 into S1 and Slot_qty =1
6. When I Start one SFC SFC_01(POD), it will consume Slot's qty 1 and now Slot S1 is empty.
7. Because SFC_01 need to consume COM_01 2 qty, so SFC_01 still need last 1 qty.
8. I load/replenish COM_01's into S1 and slot_qty = 5
The Question is
a. When I Compelete the SFC_01, ME will also consume the last 1 qty automcatically? Because I set Resource's SLOT_QTY_DECREMENT at POST_START.
b. When SFC_01 status is Active (After Start), any function can do consume the last 1 qty manually?
c. If not, I don't know how to handle if we need to re-load/replenish component after one SFC is already START.

The purpose of the hook is just to decrement the inventory in the slot. Timebased component traceability will report the total quantity required by the BOM was consumed. You can see this if you start and SFC, then replenish it whilst it is active. The as-built report will show both inventory records were consumed, and twice as much quantity as was required in the BOM.
If you perform multiple replenishments, after the SFC is started and before it is complete, then the system just reports them all. In essence, it does not know which exact inventory IDs were consumed for this particular SFC. It's a limitation of timebased, and it's safer to over-report that the SFC may have used an inventory ID as not.

I was working on an application, running a vi when the computer turned off. It took me a little time to start the computer again (is not an old computer, is a P4, 1GB, ABIT IG7 MotherBoard). After I unplugged and plugged the Power Unit it was possible to start the computer, before starting, it says that a CPU problem occured and press F1 to continue. Afer press F1 Windows started normally. Then I tried to open the vi in which I was working when the problem occured and LabVIEW says:
LabVIEW: Resource not found.
An error occurred loading the vi.
LabVIEW load error code 3: Could not load front panel.
The question is, can I open my vi someway or I just lost it?
I will really appreciate your answers since I have been working for a long time in this vi.Well, I'm faced with this problem now. VI started its life as a 9.01 LV 2009/Vision 2009 on a given machine. Copied to another machine wth 7.1, 8.2 and 9.01 on it. Opened with 2009, saved it for 8.0. Opened it with 8.2, saved it for 7.1. Opened it with 7.1//Vision 7.1.1, edited it, saved. File appears to be fine.
Now trying to open it with either 8.2 or 2009 (9.01) fails with error code 3. Note that it still opens with 7.1, so the front panel is there. Anyway to fix this? -
How to move CRM_UI_FRAME component from one box to another box

Need help about this task.
Background:
- CRM Dev Box
- CRM QC Box
- CRM Prod Box
Problem:
- CRM_UI_FRAME component on the QC Box is not working properly. When we are going to the BSP Workbench, an error comes out that there is an unclosed tag; '>' or '/>' expected entity: "<<document>>" Offset : 0000003376 Error Severity: error.
- BSPWD_BASICS/WorkAreaHostViewSet is not loaded
- This problem never occurs on both Dev and Prod Box
Our Solution:
- To copy the whole CRM_UI_FRAME component from Dev to QC
Our Question
- Is the solution possible?
- If it is, how could we transfer/copy the whole CRM_UI_FRAME or any component from one box to another box
- Could we just attach this to a transport? Or is this a BASIS task?
- Other suggestions on how to do this?

Its occurs because you're trying to access a objects with null reference. Or you forgot to create an instance or an error occurs during the instance creation. So You should put all your "Procedures and business logic" inside a Try/catch block. as follow.

how to handle the OK button of the parameters prompt of a crystal report in vba.NET?
I want to use the parameter prompt from the crystal report itself and I want to know when the report is ready. I need to export programatically by sending email to a list of employees after the parameters has been set. The emails I send depends on the results of the report.
Im using a CrystalReportViewer control in VS2010 and Crystal Report for VS2010 v13.0.1.220.Right. But the parameter screen is driven by the viewer. Unless you create your own parameter screen and pass the parameters to the report via code.
Another thing I am not sure about:
"Then by code I want to read all the employees id from the report and send email to them with specified pages of the report. (1 page per employee)"
How do you plan on reading the employee ID from the report? I am not aware of any API that will read a value in a report so that you can then decide what page to send to whom.
I think you're approaching this kinda backwards. A question to ask is; can you do what you are trying to do in code in the CR designer? If not, using APIs will not work either. I suspect your approach should be a report that uses an employee filter. Run the report for employee x, get the report populated with the data for that employee and email it. Repeat for employee x1, employee x2, etc.

Do not allow Skype to autorefill your account when it runs low on balance, and do not store a creditcard, or other payment info with them.
Each user is liable for whatever the hackers can steal.

It's solving a different problem, but the key is that it's using a multi-instance subprocess to iterate over an array of "things" that need to be acted in. In your case it's the set of results from the db query rather than the set of tests in the example. But the principle is the same. You'd take collection of rows from the DB and process them in a multi-instance subprocess. The text that begins with the following would be good place to start:
"Now let’s implement the body of our process. We will use the Subprocess object to handle the traversal of the array of tests. Drag a Subprocess from the component palette on the right into the process and drop it on the line between the Start and End nodes."
In the loop characteristics you'd define whether you want to execute serially or in parallel. -
Question about how ExifMeta handles multivalued tags
Hi,
I have tested the ExifMeta (Great work, just what I needed!) to read face recognition data written by Picasa to RegionName, RegionType etc. fields in jpg metadata. Everything seems to work fine if there is only one name in the field but Picasa writes several values separated with commas like this:
RegionName John Doe, Jill Doll
RegionType Face, Face
etc.
In that case, the corresponding fields remain completely empty. So is this convention of writing several values separated by commas "standard" way of doing this? Is there any way to fix this?
Additionally, three Region category tags refuse to load giving the following error:
"Not updating due to error getting property, id: XMPmwgrs_RegionAppliedToDimensionsUnit, from: nil, to: pixel, err-msg: Attempt to access property "XMPmwgrs_RegionAppliedToDimensionsUnit" not declared in com.robcole.lightroom.ExifMeta's Info.lua"
This is minor problem but it would be nice to know how to handle this kind of error in the future. Do I need to declare these in the lua-code if I need them?

In future, please direct exif-meta specific questions to the exif-meta forum, or me personally.
But a quick answer: exif-meta doesn't (by default) parse ("interpret") text values, so commas shouldn't be handled differently than any other text.
The best way to find out what's going on is to invoke exiftool from the command line and inspect the output.
My hunch is there is a zero character in there representing end-of-string, which can cause problems for lua code (e.g. Lightroom).
If you send me one of your files which includes the face data, I'll have a look.
PS - No clue about the 3 region tags (might be worth trying it with the latest version of exiftool) - please send me a file for inspection - thanks.

In my dialog screen, I have a field which is typed 'QUAN'.
In entering different format , e.g. with non numeric value or a negative value, an error message appear and it does not process the MODULES inside the chain or FIELD MODULE ON REQUEST.
Does anyone knows how to handle this kind of error. I need to display into a separate screen the errors I encountered coz I'm creating a new RF transaction.

Drive Utility Help Viewer "does not know how to handle selected URL"
I have Drive Utility 10.5.6, according to . I'm trying to reformat a FAT32 partition on an external drive to Mac OS X Ext. Journaled in preparation for using SuperDuper to back up my Mac HD boot partition. For a time, which seems to have passed, now that erasing the partition has been done. The Disk Utility Help wouldn't work. Instead of putting up topic information, I got a message saying "Help Viewer does not know how to handle selected URL", followed by an reference to an html file that allegedly existed inside a set of folders inside the app. Where, of course, Finder cannot see. Once the erasing was done, Help seems to have come back. I tried Apple Support, but could only get a reference to OS 9 Appleworks macros not working in OS X. No help at all. Is this a question? I don't know. Help is working now. But for a while it was very annoying. It must be one of those little windows glitches that no one ever bothered to fix.
In order to change a FAT or NTFS formatted drive for use with OS X you will need to do the following:
Extended Hard Drive Preparation
1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID (for Intel Macs) or APM (for PPC Macs) then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
If you have an Intel Mac and can partition the drive using GUID then you can have FAT32 and OS X partitions on the same drive.

1. Trash the following three files, if extant:
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.help.plist
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpui.plist

2. Trash the /Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpui folder.
3. Empty the Trash and Restart.
