How to have a static report

Question

Hello all,
I want to display a vertical report having only the column headings, and these headings are static values, means I am not having these columns in any of my tables. I want to display it like this
Name1
Name2
Name3
and in front of these names I will be having other reports showing some calculations with regards to these names like these
Name1    10%    525
Name2    35%    4021
Name3    49%    1152
problem is with the first column how to show it in a vertical report format.
I have tried like this:
Select 1, 2, 3 from dual
and changed these columns name to Name1, Name2 and Name3 but in the result it is showling 1, 2, 3 in front of these names, like this
Name1    1
Name2    2
Name3    3
but, I don't want 1, 2, 3 to be displayed in the result.
Please help me out with this

Well if its only one static column then you have to figure out a way of getting it in the SELECT . May be some thing like this
select decode(mod(rownum,3),0,'Name 3',
              decode(mod(rownum,2),0,'Name 2',
                  'Name 1')
                )  "Col 1",
      col2,....
  from ( <your current /existing select stmnt>
         order by
         )Heres what will happen
1. Your original query will execute and return the data set with the right ORDER BY
2. The outer query will asign it rownum starting 1 like 1,2,3,4,5....
3. The MOD fucntion will make them into three sets 3,2,1...3,2,1...3,2,1
4. Important, check for mutiple of 3 before checking for 2 (even) otherwise 6 will become Name2 rather than Name3
