Regards,
Abdetu...Hi Abdetu,
There is 3 parameters in the <DevSuiteHome>\forms\server.formsweb.cfg having the same behavior.
Logo
Background
SplashScreen
By default (if you don't have specified them in you [section] they values are inherited from the [default] section) the values are
Logo=
Background=
SplashScreen=
This means you will have the oracle logo, the Forms Services background image in your applet and the oracle splash screen at startup.
*To have nothing shown then just put the value no in front of these 3 parameters*
Logo=no
Background=no
SplashScreen=noYou can also customize that with you own gif files.
For this you have to put your images in a icons.jar file
place it in your <DevSuiteHome>\forms\java where frmall.jar and others are located.
then in your formsweb.cfg :
Archive=frmall.jar, icons.jar
ImageBase=CodeBase
Logo=yourlogo.gif
Background=yourbackground.gif
SplashScreen=yourbeautifullsplachscreen.gifAnd at least if you have a small gif in your icons.jar for the window you can also defining the Icon Filename property in Forms builder. This wile replace the default forms runtime icon.
Hope this helps

  • How to Hide Menus and Icons in SAP Login Screen.

    Hi
    Can Any one Guide me on How to Hide Menus and Icons in SAP Screen.
    Example: System Drop Down Menu, Help Drop Down menu Etc and
    ICONS: Trash Button, Truck Button , Print Button
    Using OS Level Regedit or SAP Level using any Parameter.
    Thanks & Regards
    Daniel . K

    AFAIK the system menu can´t be hidden - because people won´t be able to log off (but by using the X in the right upper corner). Additionally it contains additional transactions (own data etc.) that users should be able to change.

  • Nagios windows and Oracle environment

    Hi Gurus,
    I'm planning to implement Nagios tool for SAP monitoring on windows and Oracle environment. Can any one help me on thisu2026u2026..??
    Regards
    Soumitra

    Dear Soumitra,
    The only requirement of running Nagios is a machine running Linux (or UNIX variant) and a C compiler. You will probably also want to have TCP/IP configured, as most service checks will be performed over the network.
    You can download that suggested plug-in. Extract it and read the Documentation available within that bundle.
    The Following links may provide more details.

  • How to hide/show and move screenelements at runtime

    Hi Guys
        Currently, i have a requirment that, in the same screen, when user choose different different option in the dropdown list, there should be different screenelements and table control with different columns showing below it.
    Now, i have two plans below:
    1), hide/show and move position of screen elements and table control at runtime
    2), call different subscreen
    I hope i can take the first way since the second way will modify structure of program ( As it is infotype screen ), any one knows how to implement the first solution?

    Hi,
    I would suggest you to call different subscreens and load them dynamically based on your parameters.Since different subscreen are called your coding and functionality could also be seperated by writing in the PAI and PBO of the correspondiong Screens.
    if you have decided to go by your first method then try the below code.
    a) if it is normal UI elements like text box etc
    LOOP AT SCREEN.
        IF <var> = ' value '.
            screen-invisible = '0'.
            MODIFY SCREEN.
      endif
    ENDLOOP.
    Here <var> refers to the screen field name and value refers to its value.
    b) To hide columns in a Table control.
    DATA cols LIKE LINE OF tc-cols.
      LOOP AT tc-cols INTO cols.
        IF cols-screen-group1 = 'G1'.
          cols-invisible = 'X'. "HIDE THIS COLUMN
          MODIFY tc-cols
          FROM cols
          TRANSPORTING invisible.
        ENDIF.
        CLEAR cols.
      ENDLOOP.
    PS: here TC refers to the name of the table control.
    Lemme know if you face any problems.
    Cheers,

  • How to relate java and Oracle

    i have to tried to make programs using java and oracle. if i give the values in the 'insert' statement it is getting updated in the original table in oracle but how to take the values from the text fields of java and insert into the tables in oracle. do we have any methods to convert the values into sql type. pl reply.

    Here is a sample of a Java program that uses JDBC and a PreparedStatement. This particular program does a select, but you can also use this for inserts. I'm not 100% this is what you are looking for, but if it isn't just let me know. I'll help if I can.
    Joel
    For inserts, just replace this code:
    ResultSet rs = ps.executeQuery();
    while (rs.next()) {
      System.out.println(rs.getInt(rs.findColumn("CNT")));
    }with this code (and obviously change the Select string to an Insert String):
    int rowcnt = ps.executeUpdate();Here is the whole program:
    import java.sql.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.text.*;
    class dbtest {
        public static void main(String args[]) throws SQLException {
            try {
                String timeString = new String("2000-11-01 23:59:59");
                SimpleDateFormat format = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd H:m:s");
                java.util.Date date = format.parse(timeString);
                Timestamp timestamp = new Timestamp(date.getTime());
                DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());
                Connection conn =
                    DriverManager.getConnection(

                        + "AND RAISED > TO_DATE(?,'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')";
                PreparedStatement ps = conn.prepareStatement(sql);
                ps.setString(1, "ROW1");
                ps.setInt(2, 1);
                ps.setString(3, "ROW1");
                String myDate =
                    timestamp.toString().substring(0, timestamp.toString().length() - 2);

  • How to hide rows and columns by AppleScript or Automator for printing

    Hello,
    I have to hide first empty rows (I do it by: organize - Column B is not empty)
    then: By context-menu in Header of Column K: Hide column
    and: By context-menu in Header of Column L: Hide column
    How can I make this 3 Steps automatic with AppleScript or Automator or maybe by formula?
    Thanks for any help

    Here is an edited version which allow you to choose the custom template on the fly.
    No need to edit a property in the script.
    --[SCRIPT printtable(s)_choosecustom]
    Enregistrer le script en tant que Script ou Application : printtable(s)_choosecustom.xxx
    déplacer le fichier ainsi créé dans le dossier
    <VolumeDeDémarrage>:Users:<votreCompte>:Library:Scripts:Applications:Numbers:
    Il vous faudra peut-être créer le dossier Numbers et peut-être même le dossier Applications.
    Sélectionner une partie de table, une table ou même plusieurs tables.
    Aller au menu Scripts , choisir Numbers puis choisir “printtable(s)_choosecustom”
    Le script crée un nouveau document depuis un modèle perso sélectionné,
    puis applique « Colle les valeurs » au contenu du presse-papiers.
    Il envoie enfin la commande d'impression.
    --=====
    L'aide du Finder explique:
    L'Utilitaire AppleScript permet d'activer le Menu des scripts :
    Ouvrez l'Utilitaire AppleScript situé dans le dossier Applications/AppleScript.
    Cochez la case "Afficher le menu des scripts dans la barre de menus".
    Sous 10.6.x,
    aller dans le panneau "Général" du dialogue Préférences de l'Éditeur Applescript
    puis cocher la case "Afficher le menu des scripts dans la barre des menus".
    --=====
    Save the script as a Script or an Application : printtable(s)_choosecustom.xxx
    Move the newly created file into the folder:
    <startup Volume>:Users:<yourAccount>:Library:Scripts:Applications:Numbers:
    Maybe you would have to create the folder Numbers and even the folder Applications by yourself.
    Select a subset of a table, a table or even several tables.
    Go to the Scripts Menu, choose Numbers, then choose “printtable(s)_choosecustom”
    The script create a new document based on the selected custom template,
    then apply “Paste Values” to the clipboard's contents.
    At last, it issue the print command.
    --=====
    The Finder's Help explains:
    To make the Script menu appear:
    Open the AppleScript utility located in Applications/AppleScript.
    Select the "Show Script Menu in menu bar" checkbox.
    Under 10.6.x,
    go to the General panel of AppleScript Editor’s Preferences dialog box
    and check the “Show Script menu in menu bar” option.

    Hello,<BR>You did not specify which relation Essbase and Oracle have in your environment. I my answer I assume you create Essbase databases from your Oracle environment to analyze this data. You extract with SQL statements and rule files data from Oracle to build up your outlines and load the data. <BR><BR>In this, I would not say you need a synchronous backup, since with a new refresh your structure will be created and the data loaded. Ofcourse I would not recommend more than 24 hours between the backup of Essbase versus Oracle.<BR><BR>I hope this answered your question.<BR><BR>Regards,<BR>Philip Hulsebosch<BR><BR>www.Trexco.nl

  • How to install Oracle9iAS and Oracle Portal

    Can anyone help me to install Oracle9iAS and Oracle Portal?
    In which order must they be installed?
    Are there important things to do before the isntalling?
    Or does anyone know where to find clear documentation for the installation?
    thanks

    Portal is installed as part of the 9iAS install.
    You can find the Installation Guide online at http://otn.oracle.com/products/ias/. Choose the Documentation tab. Select your platform (Solaris, NT, etc.), and click HTML or PDF and you'll have the docs you need for installing 9lAS and Portal with default configuration.
    For more info on custom configuring portal, go to http://technet.oracle.com/products/iportal/. There is a section on the page called Configure 9iAS Portal that has links to all the available configuration documentation.
    Best,
    Jay

  • How to syncronize windows and rt using tcpip or udp

    Hellow friends
    I am Using CRIO 9073
    As I am aquiring Loadcell Signal and that i want to display on real time chart On windows and also i want to save into file for history view.
    As When i see that current trend on rt looks nice and smooth. Looks like my project is over.
    But when i gets those data over windows using UDP there problem starts.
    If i make RT(Sender) clock rate greater the window(Reciever). I gets data after some time. that delay increases as time goes. looks like data gets fills in queue. Displays after some time.
    that make my Windows Trends uneven.
    So what Should i do.

    Ya i have tried to use fifo.
    But what happens when my priority 1 loops executes say 1ms clock rate then i am transfering data on to the fifo.
    and another loops say lower priority gets that data from fifo and send them to Windows. that what i have done.
    Now what happen as Prio 1 loops runs faster then prio2 loop so my fifo feels up very quickly and gives error.
    So i dont have any choice other then to keep them at same clock rate. in this case working fine. but then whats the meaning of fifo. ok fine........
    Now when i send data on to windows say at rate of 1ms. then my windows loop is not capable of running at that clock rate.
    now what should i do. If i run my windos loop less then that i am goig to lose data.
    please guide Friends.
    or if you have better way to do this.

    Beyond that thread, I gave a presentation at Kaleidoscope last year around MaxL that goes into quite a bit of depth re encryption and a whole bunch of other MaxL goodies.
    To download it, go to www.odtug.com, click on Tech Resources, Essbase/Hyperion, and use the search box for MaxL.
    There are two presentations, one by Tracy McMullen and the other by me. Tracy's is a good introduction to the various command groups; my presentation focused on a few areas in depth, one of which was encryption. The title is "Master Essbase with MaxL Automation".
    You will need to join ODTUG to download the presentation, but there is a junior membership that is free.
