How to ignore SDO_GEOMETRY but capture with CDC

Hi,
Is it possible to set up a table with an SDO_GEOMETRY for CDC, ignoring the SDO_GEOMETRY columns but capturing the remaining data?
Im using ODI to deploy the CDC and underlying apply + capture processes, I've tried removing the column in question from the ODI metadata, so for all intents its ignored in any generated code (supplemental log groups etc) but my DBA_CAPTURE view is not surprisingly showing the following :
"ORA-26744: STREAMS capture process "CDC$C_EBIZ_AR" does not support "DGDW_TEST"."HZ_LOCATIONS" because of the following reason:
ORA-26783: Column data type not supported
So can I somehow ignore the problem column but capture the rest ?

Hi,
First check whether the given object is supported by streams are not by querying DBA_STREAMS_UNSUPPORTED.
If it is supported then we can set the negative rule to avoide the problematic column.

CDC (Change Data Capture) with 2 Tables

Hello,
i want to use the change data capture for the typical Data Warehousing progress (bring the new or updatet table from source to the staging area)
So i have implemented a mapping with to tables. The source table is S_Account, the target or staging table is W_Account_DS.
I have connected/mapped the tables and in the next step i goes into property inspector of W_ACCOUNT_DS into the Area Change Data Capture --> Change Data Capture Filter and put into the follow expression Builder

and the next Step i make Enabeled is true in the Change Data Capture Area. So i think it should ready for one test case.
I set in SQL Developer with an update statement the LAST_UPD_DT at 28.03.2012 in this case he should not update/insert anything, right? But he insert the full table.

So what make i wrong or have i forgotten anything? (must set keys by the tables? I think not! If yes why?)

Setting up CDC is a fairly complex process with different options. Setting just the filter in OWB is only a very small part.

I can capture with iMovie 6, but not with FCP 6.0 ('no data from device')

I didn't have any problem with FCP 5, but am getting nowhere with FCP 6 using the same settings (I think). FCP seems to see the camcorder, but can't control it and, even if I manually start the camera, reports 'no data from device' when I do a 'Capture Now'. Device control isn't critical, but I'd sure like to find out why it doesn't see the data stream from the camera (Sony HDR-HC7 / FW400). I must be missing a setting some place, but sure can't find it. On the other hand, I have full device control and zero dropout capture with iMovie (exact same hardware configuration). Any ideas?

Hi, friends:
I have read much online material about CDC, but I'm still confused.
I knew that I can download the WTK2.2 or higher to develop the app based on the CLDC and MIDP.
My question is how to start with CDC. For example, If I use JBuilder, what stuff should been downloaded and installed? and how about the Eclipse?
And some online learning resource is better!

Problem with CDC capturing changes to LOB datatypes

I've recently setup a CDC procedure (Asyncronous Hotlog mode) to populate a data mart with several source database tables (Oracle Enterprise 11gR2 to 11gR1). When inserting new rows, all of the columns defined including LOB columns are being captured and populated successfully. However if a row is updated, the CDC stream is not carrying over the LOB data. Looking at the populated stage tables, the LOB columns have been nulled out (both in the UO row and the UN row). All other defined columns were captured correctly.
Is there some known issue with CDC and LOB data types in 11g? I read some KB tips pertaining to CDC LOBS in 10g but it looks like all of that had been resolved with 11g.
Any ideas why LOBs aren't being updated?

I'm not aware of any. I would recommend opening an SR with Oracle and please post the resolution here so we can all learn from your experience.

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

Regardless, it is not a matter of carrier locking. Verizon iPhone 5 phones were never GSM sim-locked to begin with. Every iPhone Verizon has sold since the introduction of the iPhone 5 has been sold with an unlocked GSM slot, as required in the USA by their agreement with the FCC. They have not been allowed to sell any iPhone 5, iPhone 5c nor iPhone 5s devices with GSM carrier locking in place.
Your connection problems are from some other cause - it is NOT a carrier locking issue.

I have installed the printer using 'System Preferences' on my i-Mac and it appears on the list of available printers but documents that I create just don't print.

Looking at the Konica web site for the PagePro 1300W, I saw the following note.
Please note: This printer is designed to be used in computer operating systems running MS Windows only. Operating systems such as UNIX, Macintosh, or Linux are not supported nor do we have workaround drivers available. Older MS Windows versions, such as Windows 3.1/95/98[pre-SE] and NT 3.51/4.0, are not supported.
So KM are not going to help you. But the LinuxFoundation does provide a workaround that should allow you to print. Have a look at this web page. You will need to install all three packages as per the instructions from that page.

Pls, advice how to ignore parent material form costing run if the components of that material have errors. I need to run the costing run excluding erroneous parent item. Is any configuration on this..

If you want to exclude any material from Costing Run, there are two ways...
1. Go to Material Master, Costing1 view, take the check box "Do Not Cost". If you opt for this check box, the system will not consider this material for costing.
2. Where you run the standard cost estimate in CK40N, once you save you costing run with the parameters like Costing Variant etc, When you select the "Parameters" agains the Flow step of "Selection", you will be asked to give the inputs like Material Number, Plant etc.
There, against the Material Number, on the extrem right side, you will see a arrow, press that arrow, and there you can see a tab "Exclude Single Values". There you have to give the material number which you want to exclude from the costing run press "Execute" icon on the botoom-left corner of that pop-up window..
