How to implement notification with response against each order lines

We have a requirement wherein the multiple order lines should be displayed in one notificaiton and the response (Approve/Reject) should be line wise.
For exmple, if an order has 3 lines, the approver should get one notification with all 3 lines displayed in the notification. Approver should be able to approve say 2 lines
and reject the third line.
If reponse is not possible line wise, is it possible for including a drop down/checkbox/text against each line which would enable the approver to approve/reject the line and the approver response against each line should be captured.

we are evaluating BC4J/JClient. In our application we have a navigation tree
in a Java client from which we can call nested dialogs to set attributes,
call business logic etc.
Is it possible to open more than one sub-dialog from our starting navigation tree
at the same time? Each sub-dialog should have its own transaction context.
To our knowledge we need a new application module for each sub-dialog in order
to start a new transaction. But how is the navigation tree updated if data
from the sub-dialogs is commited? The dialogs and the navigation tree don't share
the same model, do they? The navigation tree might have to show lots of data
retrieved over a slow connection, so simply updating the entire model is not a solution.
This could work if an intelligent caching fetches only the changed data.
So: What is the best way to implement sub-dialogs with their own transaction plus an

YOu'd have to tweak this sample so that each sub-window comes up with it's own AM (as you've right suggested).
Regarding commit, yes, if you do not want to query the whole model on the navigator, you may use Transaction.commitAndSync() method to commit changes instead of simply performing a commit() call.

How to use notification with parallel thread

Hi,
I am learning to use Notification to communicate between thread. I still don't know how to use it. In my current project I have a case to use this so I think I should implement this technique. My example is I have a main sequence in that I make a new thread. What I want is the new thread will do a task A when receive a notfication or to exit the thread when the main sequence stop.
I am not sure if using notification is a best practice here? Or should I use a reference data?
What about if I want my thread to do task B if it receive another notification. Is notification still be helpful?

Hello,
You can use Notification to handle parallel threads. I often create two sequences : one containing the process A of your example (StartProcessA). and a second one to stop this process (StopProcessA). In StartProcessA, I create a Notification, with a defined name (as string constante, "StopProcessANotifier" for instance) in the setup group. Then I have the process, in a loop. At the end of this loop, I check the Notification (Wait) with a timeout enabled, and no error if a timeout occurs. this way, the Notification Wait can be used as loop timing, and if the notification is Set in MainSequence, this exit the loop (pick a look at Notification property Step.Result.TimeoutOccured).
To sum up, use a first sequence call in MainSequence, calling StartProcessA, with NewThread option, and do not forget to call StopProcessA at the end of you MainSequence. The Cleanup group is a very good location, because it will be executed even in case of error.
This is a very simple use of Notification. Note, I believe that make it simple is often the most important but also the most complicated thing to do

JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 supports REST get requests from the URL Data Control (if you wanted to use ADF). Note however that this release expects an XML or CSV payload. Alternatively you build a REST client using Jersey libraries in which case the client is a Java object that then you use to provide the data for display

How to implement redundant with 1 CE router to 2 MPLS service providers

Dear all,
Our head-office are currently have 1 Cisco CPE 3825 router with 2 WAN connections to our branches. We are now using static routing protocol in our network infrastructure, we consider how to implement the redundancy for networks by the redundant circuits connection to 2 MPLS providers, only when the primary connection to the primary MPLS L3 provider fail, the backup link to the second MPLS Layer 2 provider automatically active. Anybody knows where can I find information, tips or examples, how we'd handle the routing for that?
We are now have:
1 G0/1 interface connect to primary MPLS L3 Provider (the 2nd G0/2 interface is a leased-line connection to our partner, and we not consider here)
1 HWIC (layer 2) card, with 4 ports, which has interface F0/2/3 connected to the backup MPLS Layer 2 provider.

Because of our customer now has 2 main central offices, and all other sub branches are now connected to each of these main central office via one primary full-meshed MPLS VPN of 1st Service Provider, so If I use the float static routes, and when there is a failure at one link at a CENTRAL CE Router to primary link to primary MPLS VPN Service Provider, but still there is no failure at the other site from a router CE sub branch with the the PE of the primary full-meshed MPLS VPN Layer 3 Service Provider,so It cannot cause a failover to a second redundant link of the 2nd Service Provider?
So with our system, do we only have one solution like this:
-Configure BGP as the routing protocol between the CE and the PE routers.
-Use local preference and Multi Exit Discriminator (MED) when running BGP inside a our customer VPN to select the primary and backup links.
-Use AS-override feature to support overlapping AS numbers between customer sites

Hi,
I don't know how to do this with WD Java Table UI element, and you could build simple html table using webwidget UI element but that is not available on 702 as far as I know, plus this case the filtering, sorting and other features have to be done also manually using your own algorithm.
Here is what I just built on 730 using WebWidgets:
I checked also the grouped column, but that worked only for the header of the column, and behaved like colspan, while what you need is probably rather like rowspan.
I know it is not a big help, maybe someone else knows how to do this with Table UI (if it is even possible).
Still, perhaps someone else is interested who is using a higher release like 730.
I created a webwidget UI element and bound to its "html" property a string context element that I called "widgethtml".
After this I added this code to the wdDoModifyView() hook method:

How to create a separate invoice for each delivery line?

Our customer is requesting a separate invoice for each delivery line. Is there a way to configure this? Or a customization?

Hello,
You need to do this through copy controls. in the transaction code VTFL, you need to develop a new routine and attach it in the area "Data VBRK/VBRP"
attach your custom designed routine and it will split the invoice according to each line item.
check the standard routines available for hints to develop the routine with your abap. there are several standard rotuines available

How to transfer posting with reference to Subcontracting Order?

Hi, Experts,
Regarding to the SAP SCM510 handbook, in the section of subcontracting,it mentions 3 ways to post the provision of components from own company to stock for vendor:
1.) Transfer posting with reference to subcontracting order
2.) Monitoring of Subcontracting stock(using t-code ME2O)
3.) Transfer posting without reference to PO(using movement tyep 541 + O)
For the items 2 and 3, I can understand the processes but for item 1, I don't know how I can perform Transfer posting with reference to subcontracting order? Anyone can explain me on the processes?

Thank you for your help. I am really a new SAP learner. I wasn't aware of the transaction code MB1A, MB1B and MB1C etc. But I tried the way you mentioned, it works.
My initial conern on this is really from the Enjoy transaction - MIGO. I tried to select the tranaction - Transfer Posting but it doesn't have Purchase Order(or subcontracting Order) as reference.
How can I transfer posting with reference to subcontracting order in the transaction - MIGO?

How can I check the delivered Qty(invoicing) Against Production Order .
For Egg :-order qty Is 50000
Like 1 P.O-10000
2. P.O-5000
3. P.O-2500
And Despatch Or invoicing of 12500 qty.
Then Through which report i can Find out That 12500 qty Is despatch From 1& 3 PRODUCTION ORDER.

How to stop excess goods issue against production order from MB1A

Hi Gurus,
In our organization goods issue against production order is done by using MB1A T.Code manually.Due to this reason sometimes excess quantity of RM issue against production order.Now I want to stop the excess goods issue against production order by using MB1A but I want to mainatain a certain tolerence.
Please advice what to do?

How to setup the default warehouse in Sales Order Lines

I have 3 organizations in one OU like A, B, C.
and I created a new sales order type for A, the shipping from warehouse is also setup C, but when I create SO, in order lines, the default warehose is A, how to change to C?

You can write a simple pl/sql logic to get the correct org id. I am assuming that you have two responsibilities in the same operating unit and one should default with A and one should default with C. Both use the same order type.
When the resp that is responsible for org A, will have org A from order type.
For resp that is responsible for org C, you can create a pl/sql logic where you read the current responsibility using fnd_profile.value('RESP_ID'). If the resp_id is responsible for C then return organization_id of C.
You can find example code for order line entity for attribute tax code.

No cost booking against sales order+line item once accontng release is done

Dear all,
I want to stop all cost bookings against a sales order + line item once the accounting release for that item has been done.
By cost booking i mean, all such transactions that are done for a sales order + line item that involve cost booking. Like, MB1A should not allow any goods issue against that sales order + item once accounting release is done.
Is it possible to that in sales order? Like by using any status at item level.
Please guide.

Hi Ajay,
We have not kept automatic cost estimate marking during saving of sales order as costing dept wants to confirm whether costing for the SO is correct or not.
Hence we have to use CK51N.
Now the problem is for any change in any line item of a sales order is changing the costing status from "VO" to "KA" for all line items of the given sales order in table KEKO.
This is causing measure problem as production people are facing problem while making any change in production order as already there is a check put in CO02 that if cost estimate does not exist for underlying sales order, then change in production order should not be allowed.
Similarly production order creation (converting planned order to production order) is getting held up.
Costing user has to repeated run CK51N for all line items of a single sales order if there is any change in any single line item of the sales order.
Hence pl. help and suggest as to what is to be done now.
