How to implement Select Between clause? ..help

Hi
I want to implent typical select between clause in the mappings. It is like i want to check whether the "Given date" exists between the range of dates. The range of dates is obtained from the various dimension tables. I dont know how implement that. please help.
Typical SQL query would be ....
and A."Month End Date" between dim.efcv_bgdt and dim.efcv_endt
and A."Month End Date" between dim2.efcv_bgdt and dim2.efcv_endt
and A."Month End Date" between dim3.efcv_bgdt and dim3.efcv_endt
and so on..............................

Use a joiner operator and connect dim1, dim2, dim3 to it and in the join expression use your netween expression.
Or do you want to use the between in the select clause? Then use an expression operator and define a case when ... between ... and ... then ... else ... expression.

1. The above exception message is getting carried forward to other pages as well. I mean somewhere in the session/ADFContext this message is being saved and error comes up/pops up when i click on other tabs of the page. How do i clear this?
2. The above exception message is coming for the first time but when i click the 'Submit' button second time, i am getting the results and also the message that 'Query is taking too long to respond'. This should not be the case, everytime it should show the same message as the timeout limit is less and the query should end without fetching the results.
Kindly let me know how to resolve the above issues, any pointers will be helpful.

i am trying to implement dependencies between search criteria's. i will be using two serach criteria's as lov's in Search page(Using search panel) not in simple forms.
the second criteria lov should be listing all the results based on the firstr search criteria.
someone pls let me know how too implement this.

In my java class, I have a string array called strarray which hold serveral elements, some of the elements have the same value , for example, the first element is "swimming", the forth element is also swimming. I use a for loop to get each element and give it to arrayHolder which is also a array with the same size as strarray. Now, what I want is: I defined a Vector called element I want this vector to filter out the element from arrayHolder, get the name of non-duplicated name from the arrayHolder, the result should be inside the element vector (swimming,walking,running,dancing), no duplicated name. My code is like follows:

Not sure if I see the use of strArray & arrayHolder (I've not looked at your code - you might use code tags next time (check the "code" button above the message textarea), but may I suggest using a Map of some sort instead of a Vector? It will prevent duplicates for you.

You can then have some logic somewhere which tells that viewmodel to show black or white fill. Which would be that converter bridge thingy equivalent. This thing is true then FillBrush = whiteBrush else FillBrush = blackBrush.
You could probably do it with just rectangle, lose the border and set the Stroke on the rectangle.
The stroke is the outside line round a rectangle ( or any shape).

Yes you can bind all sorts of things including the point making up a polygon, brush used to draw the line and all sorts. You could even do flashing cells if you wanted.

How can I select between multiple JREs to run an *applet* in MSIE??

(I'm posting this after spending quite a bit of time trolling the Forum for an answer, and could definitely use some help - thanks in advance!)
I've got an applet that opens a socket to a small server running on an embedded controller to download some data. Recently, it started taking forever (>30 seconds) to open the socket, but but once its open, the download is fine.
The problem seems to have cropped up around the time that JRE 1.5.0_02 came out. I'd like to do some testing with older versions to see if this is really true.
The environment here is Microsoft Internet Explorer running under XP Pro.
It appears that the version of JRE loaded by the browser will depend upon a registry setting, and while I've found several likely candidates in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT|LOCAL_MACHINE_SOFTWARE|JavaSoft, none of them seem to make a difference. I restarted the browser after each attempt, but did not reboot the machine. I also experimented with CLASSPATH, but that seemed to be ignored as well.
Again, the goal is to be able to switch between JREs involked by the browser for an applet.
Can anyone offer some help on how to do this.

PS - I know the delay in the applet is occuring when the socket is opened because I surrounded the Socket() call with two System.err.println() calls, and can see it hanging there. The first println happens, there's a long pause, and then I see the second one simultaneously with my server showing that the data is being served.

I took a look at your post, and the reference in the Java Deployment Guide it mentions. I was able to run jpicpl32.exe in the /oldversion/bin, enable it for the browser, and get the old version running.
But now I can't seem to get back to the current one. When I execute Java from the XP Control Panel and look in Java|Java Applet Runtime Settings, I see only the new version (1.5.0_02). If I select it, and then hit OK and Apply, when I restart the brower I still get the old version (1.4.2_07).
What am I missing?

How to implement F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST in search help User Exit?

into the user exit but nothing works.
I get error that PROCESS is not defined. If I remove that line there is no error but nothing works.

How to implement select operation on DB adapter?

Hi, I have a requirement in which I have to retrieve a metadata value from metadata table using a DB Adapter and accordingly make decision like which flow to take using a Routing Service. If financialSystem1 value is retrieved, follow path1 or if financialSystem2 is retrieved from DB, follow path2.
How do I do this? How do I pass the value returned by DB adapter to the next Routing Service and use this value in the filter expression?

Thanks Eric. I am really pleased by your quick responses to my other postings. We are working on a critical project and we have picked Oracle ESB to be the middle ware.
Coming to the problem:
After selecting for a perticular record, in the reply part, I placed a filter expression as
/inp1:CStripesReqsCollection/inp1:CStripesReqs/inp1:fundCode = '10'. But the message flow stops right there and doesnt flow any further.(By the way it is considering the namespace as inp1=http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/db/top/InterfaceTable)
However, if I remove the filter condition, the result flows to the next node(For now a file write operation). and when it writes out, I check the contents and the contents satisfy the filter expression that I wrote. It is just not recognizing the filter expression that I am writing.
Here is the XML that it wrote to output file.

How do I select between a PCI and a PXI device

I want to contrast the specifications and usage of PCI 6025E/PXI 6025 E.

These cards are functionally equivalent. The only difference is the form factor. The PCI-6025E is a standard PCI card designed to be used in a standard PC or workstation. The PXI-6025E is a 3U CompactPCI card designed to be used in a PXI chassis. PXI systems are functionally very similar to a standard PCs, however they do offer some high performance timing features, and are designed to be used when durability and reliability are paramount. Instead of deciding which card to get, you should first decide which platform you want to use and then choose the appropriate card.
If you want to take measurements across all 4 cylinders or take multiple measurements from one cylinder and synchronizatio
n of the samples is important (closer than 5us or so), then you may want to look into one of the simultaneous sampling DAQ cards instead of the 6025. If exact synchronization of measurements across multiple sensors is not critical, then the 6025 would work well.

Select Between

I have a select statement that selects all customer numbers. I
want to limit what is returned using between, but I am not sure
how to implement this logic. In this select statement I want to
exclude a certain range of customer numbers from 4400000-00 to
44000500-00 and return all other numbers. What would be the best
way to do this? I would include the code but as you can tell it
is only a simple select statement as I have not figured out how
to implement the between logic.

All you would have to add to your where clause is:
column_name not between '4400000-00' and '44000500-00'
Be careful though since these won't evaluate as numbers since
they have the dash(-). They'll be evaluated based on each
characters ASCII value and could yeild unexpected results.

How can pass information between 2 par file in iView???

Hello,using PDK i've have created an iview calling 2 .par file, the first par file contains a menu that the user selects a products and then when press load button generates a table with information. The table with information is generated in second .par file, that collects the information passed by the menu (through beans) and with a BAPI generates the table. I made it because the menu must be separated in one frame, and the table in other...(and the first frame must displace, how a html frame)
The question, how can pass information between two par files or if are another method to made 2 frames????

Keyboard Shortcut for Selecting between volumes?

How do I select between volumes without having to use the mouse to select the upper left hand section if the finder window? It seems like I can only navigate the folders contained within the drives using the keypad, but not between the drives themselves. Anybody know if this is possible?

I have the common programs that I use assigned to function keys. I have F4 assigned to Firefox. When I want to start FireFox, I press F4. When I want to switch to firefox, I press F4! Starting & switching to an application in Mac OS are the same thing in Mac OS.

Costum module interfaces compact rio: how do I select SPI or parallel template in operation mode

Hi,
I want to create custom module for my compact rio embedded chassis.And my question is how I can select between SPI and parallel interface in the operation mode? Do I have to write a logical low or high to a special pin to select the SPI template??

For development of custom modules you need the cRIO Module Development Kit.
