How to import a certificate in OHS

Hi,
We have WebLogic 10.3.5 and SOA 11g installed which is front end by OHS. We have outside vendor that hit OHS and then OHS does the routing to web logic and SOA. Vendor have provided a certificate that we need to import into OHS. Wanted to find out how to import a certificate in OHS. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

    Hi Chitrangada,
You havent mentioned if you need to configure SSO between which two systems. However, assuming that you are configuing the access of an ABAP system from a portal, you can import the verify.der file in TA STRUSTSSO2.
The entire procedure is available at:

  • How to import a certificate in iphone

    Good day,
I was wondering, is there a way to import a .pfx file or the exported private key to an iPhone or iPad without sending it through email.
Reason for this is, even if the file is having password still, the key is at risks by sending the file through mail.
How can we make it more secure in such a way by using iTunes or using an app like "Box" or "Sharefile" and can open it from there.

  • How to use Chained Certificates from CA (Thawte) ?

    Hi,
I have an application which does the communication over secured channel to another site(Say www.XYZ.com) over internet, for this xyz.com has given a certificate which is used for secured communication. Till the time certificate was self signed certificate i did not have any problem. I use to import certificate in trusted store and use it with the help of JSSE.
Now the problem is xyz.com has given a new certificate, which is chained and issued by Thawte. Now as i understand JDK Does not come with thawte as trusted CA. so we need to add the same in the keystore. The problem i am facing is how do the chain certificates work under JAVA i.e. how the chain of certificates is created in keystore file. When i import CA's self signed certificate as documented in keytool tools documentation this completes without problem. In the documentation theres is a mention regarding importing "Certificate Reply from the CA" but there is no mention about how to import a certificate given by 3rd Party i.e. xyz.com in our case. Is "Certificate Reply from the CA" and certificate from 3rd party the same. or there is some specific way in which we have to do the import to keystore?
    Thanks in advance
    Sachin

Thank you for taking time to reply, but this is solved now. You are right, need to import all the certificates. So what is did is exported all the certificates which were in chain from IE. Then starting from Root's self signed certificate imported all of them one by one into keystore and then provided this keystore while communication and it works
    Thanks once again

  • How to export/import the certificates for/from 'Partner company' step-by-step in exchange 2013

    Dear  EXCHANGE EXPERTS,
I am a newbie in "Exchange World" and I try hard to learn and figure out how Exchange messaging works.
Sometimes the searches for information are gratified with wonderful articles and blogs, but sometimes days of searches bring you nothing but tiredness.
I cannot find a clear information (step-by-step) how to exchange the certificates with the Partner company for TLS mutual communication in Exchange 2013.
I would appreciate the help of experts.

    Hello
"You can do it on several ways. If both organizations are using publicly trusted certificate on Exchange servers, you are good to go. If that’s not the case you will have to cross-import Root CA certificates on both sides. Alternatively, you can also
issue certificates for SMTP for both Exchange organization from a single trusted RootCA. Anyway, the point is that each Exchange server must trust the certificate installed (and assigned to SMTP service) on another Exchange server"
    'Trusted Root Certification" -->yes /local computer/
if your company and partner company have a public cert and assigned to smtp service not need do
    anything with cert.
if not have public cert but have cert from own internal ca booth company, you need
cross-import Root CA certificates to exch servers and is ok. you send root ca caert to company and partner company send  his own root  certificate and that inport to local computer 'Trusted Root Certification"
    store on exch server.
if not have internal ca only self signed you need send self signed cert

    FWIW...
SequelPro is a Cocoa-based Mac-style tool for MySQL.  This is a native equivalent to the MySQL Workbench stuff.  This if you're not managing the database from the command line.
Do not install the available MySQL-related web-based management tools (eg: mysqladmin) in a web-facing directory (and certainly not unprotected against remote access) as many of the web-gremlins actively probe for the various known-weaknesses in those.  These tools have various vulnerabilities, and are widely targeted.
MySQL is not available in Lion Server.  You'll need to manage your own MySQL installation and patches starting on OS X Server 10.7 and later, or migrate your database to SQLite or PostgreSQL.
Here is an example mysqldump backup and restore script.

  • Is there a way to automate the installation/importing of a certificate. I know how to import on manually, but I need a way to import one via a script. How can I do this?

I am looking for a way to import a certificate into FireFox 4.0.1 on XP. I know how to import them manually under tools>options, but I need a way to script the import process using something like a certutil for FF. Has anyone done this before? I need to hit several hundred workstations. Thanks for your time, suggestions and assistance.

  • How can I import security certificates from Explorer to Firefox?

I deleted several certificates before I decided it was a bad idea - too late ... many of my frequently visited sites won't validate at all or, will come up in plain text vs. html. Those sites still work in Explorer so, logic says I could import trusted certificates.

You need to export the certificates in IE and import them in the Firefox Certificate Manager.

  • How to import Root CA "No trusted certificate found" exception.

I have an application that connects https to a server and POSTs some data. That application works fine with one server but not with another. I get javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found.
Both servers have certificates signed by 2 different CAs. 1 is I think Thawte or Verisign (need confirmation with my admin) and the other I know for sure is Equifax. Of course Equifax is the least popular of the 2 and is not found in the cacerts keystore...
Now I downloaded the Equifax root certificate and installed in the default keystore by typing keytool -import -alias blabla -file c:\bla.cer and it imported correctly. I reran my app and I still got the same exception...
So I figure that the root cert for Equifax must be imported within the cacerts file in jre/lib/cacerts am I correct? Whats the default password for that keystore?
    Thanks

Have you tried to import the certificate in the cacerts keystore file?
This file can be found in the <jdkDirectory>/jre/lib/security/ directory. It is the default trustStore used by Java.
I remember that trusted certificate keystore location can be set using the javax.net.ssl.trustStore property. Have you set it to point to your keystore file?
    You can found explanations there:
