Also you may want to check a few things if you have location service turned on for Weather app, cuz every time you check your notification center, it will always check your location for the current update on the weather. If you are in the same location the entire time, you really don't need that on. Also while you are on the location service setting, check some of the apps that uses location service and if you don't use it, then turn it off while you are in there. Also maybe turn them all off and then turn on one at a time and find the culprit.
If it's not your location service, it could be that one your apps is running in the background. Double click home button, this will bring up the recently used tray, hold one of the app for 3 seconds until the - button comes out, then close all the apps. Or just do a hard reset of your iphone by holding the power button and the home button at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears.
Anything that will require to data connection will use battery. If you have wi-fi at home, then I suggest you keep it on wi-fi because your iphone will last longer if it's on wi-fi then on battery.
If none of the above suggestion worked, then I suggest you try restoring your phone and set it up as new and see what happens. Just make sure you have a separate back up for your contacts.

Help! This new version of Lion is making me miserable. The fan runs constantly, the computer is hot and battery life has dropped to under 2 hours on a fully charged battery. I updated to Lion 10.7.3 and started noticing my fans running on high all the time and my battery would drain 2-3x faster. I was going to take my computer into an Apple store until I found this thread. I did the SMC reset by shutting down my computer, plugging it in, and then pushing down shift+control+option while also pushing down the power button. Nothing happens on the screen and the computer did not turn on. I then released all the buttons at once after holding them down for 10 seconds.
After that, I simply turned my computer back on and everything seems to be working fine. The fans are not blasting anymore. I have a newer MacBook Pro where I can't access my batteries. The SMC reset may differ for other types of laptops.

If you dropped it in water, and then plugged it in, you may very well have destroyed the battery and/or the logic board. Charging/plugging in to a power source is very damaging to wet electronic devices. There is not much you can do but replace the entire iPhone...and since you did repairs yourself Apple will not do an out-of-warranty replacement.
You can try replacing the battery, the lightning port is another issue, but I would not expect that iPhone to work again.

I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Downgrading the iOS is not supported. Basic troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device

Any fix to the battery life issue from upgrading to IOS 6.0.2, as my battery life has gone from 2 days to 4 hours since 'upgrading'??

It is unlikely that this problem has anything to do with iOS 6.0.2. It is possible that the update process itself has caused some settings on your iPhone to become corrupted.
Here are some steps to deal with this:
1. Close all apps (use the app switcher; double tap home, press and hold an icon, click the "-" signs)
2. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings. (Does NOT delete apps or any data; just resets network/iOS settings)
3. Wait for iPhone to restart.
4. Charge iPhone up to 100% and monitor.

I don't know what you mean by "poor battery life". If your iPad is working properly you should get 9-10 hours of life.

The applications install disk won't install iphoto because iphoto 9.5 is already installed..I updated to a SSD and have the original Hard Drive with an updated iphoto which recognized the older CDs(thanks to iphoto expander). Later version of iPhoto write to the library on opening, and so cannot open libraries on optical media, as that cannot be written to. Further, optical media is going e way of the floppy disk. Therefore, you need to use a different form of archiving and back up going forward.
To allow iPhoto to open these libraries you need to copy them to your Mac or an attached external disk.
To merge them into an existing Library will require that you use either Aperture (if you have it) or iPhoto Library Manager.

After what seems to be a normal upgrade to the new Mountain Lion OS X on my early 2008, 24" iMac. My iMac counted down to restart but did not turn all the way off. At the end of the count down the screen went white with a small file folder flashing on and off in the center of the screen. Also there is a ?, question mark in the miaale of the file folder. My computer was doing the same as yours hinikuru but now there is a change. I turned my iMac off by the button on the back and left it off for about an hour. When I just turned it on the center Apple logo was back and soon the loading logo for the new Mountain Lion program came up. On the bottom of the logo there is a horizontal sliding bar that says the program will take 34 minutes to load. Time will tell. I have two iMacs and if this goes we'll I will install the new Mountain Lion tomorrow. Hinikuru, I was about to follow the information in one of the side bar blocks titled "More like this" on the right side of this screen when my iMac seemed to fix itself! Good luck. Hi… Well I think both the firmware’s does have a firewall and disabling this altogether may not be the best solution for the problems you are facing. Please give the exact details of the issue. Also just to mention, after upgrading the firmware, reset the router and reconfigure it. If you need to open the ports on that firewall, you can go to gaming and application tab either forward or trigger the ports as per you requirements.
