How to include WAD objects in BSP

Hi,
I would love it if I could include WAD objects like tables, maps, etc. directly in a BSP page - Is this possible ?

Hallo Tonni
You can do this with an HTML tag, e.g.:
<form name=exportform action=<SAP_BW_URL DATA_PROVIDER='DP1' CMD='LAUNCH_QUERY_DESIGNER' TEMPLATE_ID=’0ADHOC_QUERYDESIGN’> method=post target=_blank>
</form>
Further information you will find here:

  • How to include a large amount of objects in a package interface

    Hi guys,
I would like to include a large amount of objects (programs, classes, etc.) in a package interface in the package builder (SE21).
I would like to avoid inserting them one by one. Is anyone have a solution? It is not possible to use such characters has " * ". There is no documentation or help provided for this issue.
Thank you in advance for your answers.
    Best regards,
    Sylvain

    Hello,
I do not wish to change the package assignment of all my objects.
I created a new package in which I created an interface to include various objects from others packages (standard and customer specific). I want to make these objects visible into my new package.
Since I have a high quantity of objects to include in my interface, I would have like to know if there was a simple way to do this task rather than entering the name one by one in SE21.
I hope the context is clearer now.

  • How to include an INCLUDE into a Transport Request

    Hi Experts
Requirement is to add an INCLUDE program object (which is not part of any other request) into a Transport Request. I followed the below steps:
    SE01 -> Entered TR# -> Display -> Request/Task -> Object List -> Include Objects.
In the selection screen of "freely selected objects",
selected objects -> Program = LZ123T00 (which I need to include).
    Then, Execute!
It shows: No objects were selected!
    How to fix this error?
    Regds

    Hi Varun
thx for ur reply. I tried this. it seems the INCLUDE alone cannot be written into the TR.
it says: "Cannot be added. The object is part of some system object"
If we add the whole Function Group to the TR, will it help? Will the TR hold all the associated INCLUDEs declared in this Function Group?
    plz advise.

  • How to share a object library

    Dear Adobe Community,
I am using the Adobe (JetForm) Output Designer Version 5.4.0. 130
As we are working in a team on several forms (IFDs), which include
some objects from a object library, we would like to share the same library
within the team. I could not find any option to export / import objects from one
    library to another one.
Is there a possibility to share the same library with multiple users, for example on a
network-share-drive? If yes, how can we implement this?
Thanks in advance for your input.
    Best regards
    Jan

    hi Michel,
Here is all the info I have on sharing.
    SHARING IPHOTO LIBRARIES
Sharing libraries between users on the same local network
You can also share a library on the same machine between users the same way.
Sharing libraries between users on the same machine...
-both users must have sharing enabled in their iPhoto Preferences
-both users must be logged in and have iPhoto running
-Remember that you can only view the other library. You can't edit the photos or play the saved slideshows or view the made books or burn them to CD or DVD. The books and slideshows will show up as an album. You can play that album as an "on the fly" slideshow. You can drag images from the sharing library to your library in the source column to import them to your library. You can then edit, add to albums, books, slideshow, etc.
    Sharing links from Apple....
    Sharing your photos between computers
    About shared photos

    Looking for shared photos
SHARING ONE IPHOTO LIBRARY BETWEEN USERS ON SAME MACHINE
You can try one of these three methods:
1- Use iPhoto Library Manager-the paid version
The documentation page will give instructions on how it is done.
2- Sharing one iPhoto library between several users on one machine
3- Share an iPhoto Library in tiger Using ACL's
4- I have also read about ShareAlike
There is no other info on the site about how it works.
I strongly urge anyone wanting to try any of the methods for sharing one iPhoto Library folder among more than one user to backup all iPhoto Library folders before attemptin anything.

  • How to include an attachment in summarize comment report in acrobat 9 Pro?

I have a shared review document intiated using Acrobat 9 Pro, and some ppl have commented using the "Attach a file as a comment" tool. Now when i summarize my comments that attachment does not show up in the report, so how can include the attachment in the report?

Sorry for my late response, have been on holiday...
    1) I had installed Acrobat Reader 8
    2) I can see the 'Adobe PDF Reader' object in my ActiveX Controls dropdown box
    3) I can add this object to a report
    4) intellisense does not show the loadfile method but it changes to LoadFile and it compiles
    5) displaying the report does not show anything on my report
    6) using the object.src property no results either
    7) I can add this object to a form
    8) intellisense does not show the loadfile method but it changes to LoadFile and it compiles
    9) running the form brings up a runtime error 'method not found'
(that's different behaviour as in the report !!!)
    10) using the object.src property gives FINE results!!!!
Almost the same behaviour was mentioned in a topic by Bob Wintemberg, http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bc443d7 , but there was no final solution mentioned!
Any help would be very appreciated!
BTW i looked in the 'Developing Applications Using Interapplication Communication' document but that does not bring my any additional knowledge!

  • How do you declare objects in the master database

I am trying to register our CLR assembly as an unsafe assembly without having to make the database trustworthy.  Since making the database is_trustworthy_on = 1 is not a best practice, and would cause some of our customers (and our development process)
    a little bit of grief.
I have read a ton about it but am still having trouble.
The reason the assembly is 'Unsafe' is because it is calling the TimeZoneInfo class to convert between timezones, since we are not yet on UTC dates.  We plan to in the future but that's a big project.
We are also not using the 'SQLCLR' but rather have written our own class library and just have a project reference to it, which works just the same, but we have found to be better for the C# programmers.
I am playing with signing the assembly using an SNK file and have figured out what I need to do, including 1) creating a master key, 2) creating an asymmetric key using the same SNK file that signed the assembly, 3) creating a login for the asymmetric key,
and 4) granting unsafe assembly to the login.
When I do all that with straight SQL, it actually works!  But I am having trouble fitting this into our SSDT world.
Should I create a separate SSDT project for items #1 through #4 above, and reference it, and check 'Include composite objects' in our publishing options?  As stated in this blog post though, I'm terrified of messing up the master database, and I'm not
excited about the overhead of another project, a 2nd dacpac, etc.
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ssdt/archive/2012/06/26/composite-projects-and-schema-compare.aspx
Since we do use a common set of deployment options in a deployment tool we wrote, which does set the 'block on data loss' to false, and the 'drop objects not in source' to true, b/c we drop tables all the time during the course of refactoring, etc.
I don't want to drop anything in master though, and I don't want to have to publish it separately if we didn't have to.
I suppose I could just have some dynamic SQL in a pre-deployment script that takes care of the master database, but I was trying to do it the 'right' way, in a declarative style, but struggling.
So, in short, what's the recommended approach for getting an 'unsafe' CLR assembly into an SSDT project?
The error that started all this was:
CREATE ASSEMBLY for assembly *** failed because assembly *** is not authorized for PERMISSION_SET = UNSAFE.
The assembly is authorized when either of the following is true:
    the database owner (DBO) has UNSAFE ASSEMBLY permission and the database has the TRUSTWORTHY database property on;
    or
the assembly is signed with a certificate or an asymmetric key that has a corresponding login with UNSAFE ASSEMBLY permission.
Also, would a certificate be better than an asymmetric key?  I'm not entirely sure of the difference just yet to be honest.
    Thanks,
    Ryan

After much fighting with this, figured something out as a workaround, and thought I'd share it.
First, I'm pretty certain the SSDT declarative way for these master objects just doesn't work yet.
My workaround was to make a pre-deployment script (that runs when we create new databases, as well as for the current release), that takes care of the security items needed to support a signed CLR assembly with unsafe permissions.
One issue we were running into was when it came to creating the asymmetric key, there are 4 ways to do so, and we didn't want to depend on a hard-coded/absolute file path.  The 4 ways are "From file", "from external file", "from
assembly", or "from provider".  I still don't 100% understand the from provider way, but ultimately we are actually using the from assembly way, with a little trick/hack I did that allows us to not have to use the 'from file' way and to
reference a hard-coded path on someone's C:\ drive.  I really really didn't want to do that b/c we create local dev databases all the time and not everyone has the same paths setup.  Also, our databases are deployed on our servers as well as remote-hosted-customer
servers, and up until now, the database release has not needed file system access.  Even the CLR itself is created using assembly_bits, which is awesome.
    So I thought of something...
What if I had a simple/temporary assembly, which I create from assembly_bits, use to import the public key from, through the create asymmetric key from assembly command, and then drop as if it never existed?
    Well...it works!
Here is my current prototype of a pre-deployment script, which I'll go through and cleanup more, but thought I'd share.  I also want to document how I created the temporary assembly_bits in case anyone ever wants or needs to know, even though they really
shouldn't.  But it should make them feel better.  Basically I just created did this to get them:
1 - Created a C# Class Library project in the solution.
2 - Added our .SNK to that project and removed the 'Class1.cs' that it created by default
3 - Signed that class library with the .SNK
4 - Added a project reference to that class library from the main database solution.
5 - Generated a deployment script (but didn't run it) and grabbed the create assembly statement (copy/paste)
6 - Deleted the temporary project
    7 - Pasted the code I had copy/pasted into the pre-deployment script
Note that the objects do apparently need to go into MASTER, so at the end of the pre deployment script, I switch back to the automatic [$(DatabaseName)] after first having done USE master.
Hope this helps someone.  Finally got it!
BTW - The other way we almost used was to introduce a SqlCmdVariable of $StrongNameKeyFilePath but that would have been a hassle for people to set whenever they got a new machine, etc.
    Thanks,
    Ryan

how to include user_sequences in a dbms_datapump procedure
    hi,
i have a procedure to move all tables from MYSCHEMA_1 to MYSCHEMA_2 over a db_link
    using dbms_datapump ;
    That works fine
but i need to copy the user_ sequences too.
a detail if my procedure looks like this :
    ## create Job in TABLE-Mode :
    job_handle := dbms_datapump.open (
         operation      => 'IMPORT'
    ,job_mode => 'TABLE'

I found this to work with plain EXPDB :
    EXPDB INCLUDE=SEQUENCE: in ('SEQ','SEQ2') INCLUDE=TABLE: in ('TABLE','TABLE2')
How to include user_sequences when working with dbms_datapump - API,
    maybe working with dbms_datapump.metadata_filter ?

    HI,
    you are right,
to include SEQUENCES and other Objects like VIEW or FUNCTION
    does only work in SCHEMA-Mode
    But the next problem is
when want to refresh the dump
I can refresh the tables only
    dbms_datapump.set_parameter(
    handle      => job_handle,
    name      => 'TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION',
    value      => 'REPLACE'
not the other objects like SEQUENCE or FUNCTION
    found in OracleSupport Note 1323411.1
would nice to have a parameter OBJECT_EXISTS_ACTION in future

    HI sathish,
    1. If the old request is release,
       then we cannot do anything.
(There is no point in changing that old request)
      (bcos its already released)
    2. what can be done is that
u save once again the objects,
and it will once again ask for new request.
    3. this time save it in new request

  • How to include all the child OU groups of a master OU group in LDAP authentication

    Dear All,
I am using Apex 4.2 on windows server 2012 on internet explorer with database 11g R2 all 64 bit.
we are using Microsoft Active Directory Authentication in our domain.
I have created two protals, Staff Portal and Student Portal
I have two groups, Staff and Students. these two groups coming under HCT group.
I want to configure LDAP authentication for these groups, so that student cannot login to staff portal and vice versa.
I had created on authentication schema in apex.
    inititally I configured as below
for example I have a group ETC, inside ETC I have CSS in active directory,
    DN String=cn=%LDAP_USER%,dc=hct,dc=org
    Use Exact distinguish name=YES
    LDAP Username edit function=
    return apex_escape.ldap_dn (
                 p_string => :USERNAME,
                 p_escape_non_ascii => false ) || ',ou=users,ou=css,ou=etc,ou=staff,ou=hct'   ;
    Username Escaping=NO ESCAPING
    and it is working,
now I have another group under ETC, which is ESS. how to include ESS also? I mean how to include all the child groups of a master group?
because I will then only include the STAFF ou and the rest of the ou which coming under staff will come automatically.
please refer to this thread for more details.
Re: Re: Different LDAP authentication for Student and Staff Active directory groups
    Thank you.

Powershell (or vbscript if you want to be old school).
You can trigger a powershell script which will remove the offending user(s) easily enough with out resorting to a TOLDAP pass.  Nearly any script type thing would work but powershell is preferred.  It can be triggered separately from the TO AD stuff and will take multiple objects to run in one pass if you can construct the command line (or create a text file and feed it in).
Otherwise, TOLDAP is the way to write to AD...

Confirm SAP BW support package, kernel and DB/OS configuration     Analyze current Support Package and DB/OS/Kernel configurations in your SAP BW landscape in relation to the SAP BW 3.x upgrade requirements.
     Apply necessary support packages, kernel patches, and DB and OS patches to meet upgrade requirements
         Basis
Alignment of SAP BW objects within your SAP BW system landscape     Check and, where required, re-align SAP BW Objects and developments in your SAP BW system landscape (Development, Quality Assurance and Production).
SAP BW Object differences can impact the quality of testing in the Development and Test environment and can lead to change management issues.
     This check is to minimize risk and ensure productive objects are being tested prior to the Production upgrade.
Where alignment issues exist and realignment is not possible, alternative testing plans should be devised.
         Basis/BW
Confirm all developments are deployed.     Ensure that all SAP BW developments are deployed or they are to be re-developed/tested after the upgrade.
     In the DEV system, all SAP BW development transports should be released (i.e. transport created and released) and imported to all downstream systems (i.e. QAS and PRD systems).
For SAP BW developments not already collected in the transport collector, a decision must be made:
Deploy the developments or wait until the upgrade has completed to deploy.
o     Development to be deployed should be collected, released, and imported into the QAS and PRD systems.
o     Developments that should be deployed after the upgrade should be re-tested/re-developed after the upgrade.
     In the QAS or PRD systems, ensure that all SAP BW development transports have been imported prior to the upgrade.
         BW
Implement BI 7.0 Business Explorer Frontend     Install, evaluate, test and distribute the new BI 7.0 Business Explorer Frontend.
         Basis/BW
    Pre-upgrade Process:
Download required BI 7.0 support package Stack for inclusion in the upgrade     Determine the equivalent support package level of the source SAP BW release and the target SAP BW release.
     There is a minimum requirement that you upgrade to at least the equivalent support package level on the target SAP BW release so that you do not lose functionality, corrections, and data.
     It is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of all support packages during the upgrade via the upgradeu2019s support package binding functionality.
     BI 7.0 Support Packages are delivered via SAP NetWeaver u201904 Support Package stacks (SP-Stacks). It is not recommended to partially apply some of the SP-Stacksu2019 individual support packages. You should apply all of the SP-Stacks support packages at once.
For more information on the SP-Stacks and SAP NetWeaver SP-Stacks, please see the SAP service marketplace alias SP-Stacks (http://service.sap.com/sp-stacks)
     You should also review, download, and bind in support packages for all add-on components that are installed on SAP BW and will be upgraded during the SAP BW upgrade (e.g. SEM-BW, ST-PI, etc)
         Basis
Apply latest Support Package tool patch     Apply latest SPAM patch before executing PREPARE     Basis
Validate the SAP BW (ABAP) Data Dictionary and the Database Data Dictionary for consistency     Check Database consistency
         Transaction DB02:
o     Execute ABAP SAP_UPDATE_DBDIFF and re-execute DB02 check. This gives a truer view of the SAP BW objects in DB02.
o     Check missing database objects (indices, tables, etc)
o     Missing indices may identify erred data loads or process problems
Tip: Missing indices on InfoCubes can be restored by RSRV or ABAP SAP_INFOCUBE_INDEXES_REPAIR
Note: check for running data loads before executing a repair!
    o     Check DDIC/DB consistency
     Verify database objects and consistency
(e.g. SAPDBA check for offline data files)
         BW
Remove unnecessary SAP BW temporary database objects     Delete all SAP BW temporary database objects:
     Execute routine housekeeping ABAP SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES.
     This reduces the numbers of database objects that need to be copied during the upgrade.
     Note: take care not to delete objects that are in use as this will cause queries, compressions, etc to terminate.
         BW
Validate your SAP BW Objects for correctness prior to your upgrade     Using the SAP BW Analysis Tool (transaction RSRV), perform extensive tests on all important SAP BW Objects to ensure their correctness prior to the upgrade.
Note: this test should be repeatable so you can re-validate after the upgrade!
     Ensure that any inconsistencies are identified and corrected
     RSRV has a number of extensive tests and if all checks are executed will consume a large amount of time. Multiple tests can be performed in parallel.
     Tip: Some corrections in development can be deployed to other systems via transport in advance of the next upgrade.
         BW
Ensure DB Statistics are up to date prior to the upgrade          Check DB statistics for all tables.
Tables without statistics, especially system tables, can seriously impact upgrade runtimes.
     Check DB statistics for missing Indexes for InfoCubes and Aggregates
o     User transaction RSRV to check      BW
Check SAP BW Support Package status     Check the status of all support packages (via transaction SPAM)

Check all u2018Repairsu2019     Check for unreleased repair transports
         Release all unreleased transports
In your QAS and PRD system, check if all repair transports have been imported (i.e. systems are aligned)
     Import missing repair transports into down stream systems. This will avoid differing message and/or errors during the upgrade.
         BW
Check InfoObject status          Check for revised (modified) InfoObjects that have not been activated.
All InfoObjects should be active or saved (not activate):
    o     Check all inactive InfoObjects:
    Transaction RSD1 (Edit InfoObjects),
click on u201CAll InfoObjectsu201D radio button and click the u201CDisplayu201D button.
Modified InfoObjects are denoted by yellow triangles!
o     Determine if revision should be activated or removed.
         'Reorgu2019 or u2018Repairu2019 all InfoObjects
This checks and repairs any discrepancies in the InfoObject definition and structures. It is common to have obsolete DDIC and table entries for InfoObjects after multiple upgrades and definition changes. These obsolete entries normally do not effect normal SAP BW operations.
     Transaction RSD1 (Edit InfoObjects), Select u201CExecute Repairu201D or u201CExecute Reorgu201D Use expert mode for selective executions.
         BW
All ODS data loads must be activated.          Activate all inactivated ODS Object requests.

         BW
All Transfer and Update rules should be active          Check for inactive Update and Transfer Rules
o     All update rules and transfer rules should be active or deleted.
o     Look into the table RSUPDINFO for update rules and search for the version "not equal" to "A". Likewise use the table RSTS for Transfer rules/structure.     BW
All InfoCubes should be active          Check for inactive InfoCubes and Aggregates (Aggregates are InfoCubes too!)
o     All InfoCubes should be activated or deleted.
o     Execute ABAP RSUPGRCHECK to locate any inactive InfoCubes. See SAP note 449160.
         BW
All Web Report objects should be consistent prior the upgrade.          Check the consistency of your SAP BW web objects (web reports, web templates, URLs, roles, etc). All objects should be consistent prior to web object conversion after the upgrade. It is recommended to ensure consistency before the upgrade.
o     For Original release SAP BW 3.x:
A SAP BW web reporting objects check can be executed via a new check in RSRV. This is provided via a SAP BW support package.
Please see SAP note 484519 for details.
