How to influence APEX 4.0 autocomplete text item drop down list's colors?

Hi,
Could some body please point me to the template that I have to modify?
I am using theme 15 and the text item with auto complete has a very different color schema, that I would like to modify, so that it would harmonize with Theme 15 colors. It's just that I can not seem to find the template to modify. TIA.

There's no template for the autocomplete item. It's appearance is controlled entirely using CSS. Theme 15 does not include themed styling for autocomplete items: it falls back to a generic scheme specified in the <tt>apex_4_0.css</tt> style sheet:

}The best approach would be to use a web inspector tool to identify what each of these rules does in the context of using the autocomplete item and create your own theme-15-friendly style sheet to override this subset of <tt>apex_4_0.css</tt>.

Here is my problem:
How to show "ALL" Values by default in Page Drop-Down Lists in Oracle BI Pivot Tables?
For example, if you place Region in the pages area, a Region drop-down list allows the user to select a particular region, and see the data for only that region, rather than seeing all the Regions,But by default its not showing "ALL" option in the drop down list ,rather than doing that its showing result for only 1 region by default.
And an other problem with this pages area is, if we palce the multiple attributes in the Pages area in the pivot table, the (Fields)result is showing in vertically, the attributes 1 by 1(Every attribute in a new line) ,rather than showing like that, is there any way to show the results in horizantally?(We want to have it as a seperate drop drown list for every field horizantally not as a concatenated list).

I am using <af:selectManyChoice>. Is there any way I can use LOVCache.java value for selecting default values instead of hard coding?
I mean to say can I write
unselectedLabel="#{LOVCache.entityTypeSelectionList.anyValue}"
where LOVCache.entityTypeSelectionList is used to populate the drop down box.

How can i redirect 5 choice options from a drop down list into 5 separate text fields?

I have a number of drop down lists which push one of 5 choices to a text field on another page.
I want to be able to push each choice from one drop down field to a separate field, so that it is not possible to duplicate the drop down choice.
The resulting page is going to be locked.
What script do I need to use to send each of the five choices specifically to five separate text fields?

I've had a look at the sample script you posted. I'm not sure how to make it work with the form I'm creating. (I sent it to you earlier.) Would you mind setting one of the fields up on my form so that I can get an idea of how to then push the choices set up on the "visible on screen only" to the textfields which are locked on the visible page? Do i lock the fields in the same way?
Will I need to create a new script for each of the arrays I'll be creating? for example, myScript1, myScript2, my Script3....

I implemented an autocomplete mechanism, using ICompletionSession and ICompletionSourceProvider. I have an issue with the size of the drop-down list opened when I use this autocomplete mechanism. The width of the autocomplete list remains the same, even
if the strings displayed change. This is apparent especially when I hit "backspace" on the already typed string, while the drop down list is opened: the deletion of the last character allows for more completion strings to be used, but since the drop
down width does not change, the longer strings appear cut.
Is there a way to force the drop down list to recalculate its width?

I don't think there's any way, even VS itself can't do that you know, and the interfaces don't have such kind of events or properties.

How do I allow users to enter text into drop down menu

I have created a form with a drop down menu but I want users to be able to enter thier own text into the field if they do not see the option they want.

It sounds like you're creating the form in FormsCentral. This isn't an option in FormsCentral, but if you save the form as PDF you can edit the field in Acrobat and you'll see the option that Bernd mentioned. In order to edit the form in Acrobat, you have to removed the usage rights by opening the PDF in Acrobat and selecting: File > Save A Copy
and then open the copy.

Hi Sireesha,
You want to display value based on the key selected in dropdown list. If you want to do like that
1) Create a context attribute for ex: key_value
2)In the properties of the attribute select the calculated as true.
3)It will create getter and setter methods for your attribute.
4)Go to implementation add the following code in getter method of your attribute

//KEY is your dropdown key attribute not the value attribute.
IWDAttributeInfo attributeInfo = element.node().getNodeInfo().getAttribute(attributeName);

Actually this requirement is to enhance the standard screen for Tcode :EHSVU21.
So depending on the 1st Column(Test no) value ,i have to change the 3rd Column(Low.norm.result)
property either to DROP Down or not.
So in the PBO only the changes to be made and there is no field in SCREEN internal table for changing the attribute to DROP down. I checked SCREEN internal table where the field VALUE_HELP and REQUEST is useful but not suitable for my case.
Any solution available?

How to link Files to different buttons in a drop-down list?

I have 5 Excel files in folder. I want to link each file to each buttons in a Drop-Down List, so that when 1st button is clicked it opens 1st file, 2nd button opens second file etc..
the buttons are given some titles.
The file path should not be visible to the user. When a button in drop down list is clicked, it must confirm the file and open it.
I am new to labview. Can anybody help me witha sample code?

How to capture all the email addresses from the drop down lists

I would like to capture all the email addresses that mail has captured and gives you as a prompt when you start to enter and an address...is there a way to do this ? Does anyone know where all these email addresses live ?

For that program, it says it will import from CSV files, in which case once you add the email address and name to Address Book, you can create a new group for that purpose and add everyone you want to that group. Then select the group and drag it to the Desktop to create one vCard file with all those contacts.
The go to this URL in Firefox (it won't work in Safari): <http://labs.brotherli.ch/vcfconvert/> and use the online vCard converter to convert that file to a CSV file. Be sure to add a header line if Interspire requires it in the file to import it, and check the results in Excel or Numbers before you import it.

What I do is, instead of binding the DropDown directly to the DataProvider, I bind it to a function inside my BackBean who returns the Option[] required, and in that function I load the items from the DB plus whatever else I want (in our case we add a blank cell as the first and selected option).
Here's an example:

I have a login_success.php page that has a drop down list/menu (which lists usernames). I want the user to click on their user name, and when they click the submit button the username information to be passed over to the username.php page which will contain a recordset, sorted by username.
How do I pass the username info from the drop down list/menu to the username.php page?
The drop down menu is connected to a recordset listUsername, I have filtered the recordset with the Form Variable = username, and I have used the POST method to send the username to the page username.php. I'm not sure how to structure the php or which page to place it on.

I would not post the variable over, In this case I personally would send it through the URL and use the $_GET method to retreve it. For Example.

Where is this example spreadsheet? Without seeing it I can only guess at what you are asking.
To make a drop-down list (a pop-up menu in Numbers-speak), format the cell as a pop-up then edit and add to the list of items.
If the example spreadsheet is pulling in a dollar value based on what car you chose in the pop-up, it is probably using LOOKUP or one of the other lookup functions, getting the information from another table (a lookup table). If, instead, these dollar values are what you are choosing in the pop-up, then you need to create a pop-up with these values in it.
The Help menu includes a link to a page where you can download the Numbers Users Manual. It also has a link to the Formulas and Functions guide. Both are useful to new users.
