How to insert code in a QUERY

Hi All,
I'm creating a Query to extract the data from EKKO, EKPO and EKKN.
here I have to insert a piece of code as checking below.
IF EKPO-KNTTP ne ' '. "not equal to blank
extract the data from table EKKN.
ENDIF.
here I need your help like how to write this code in a Query or Functional Area (Info Set).

Duplicate POST.....
select the query and go to QUERY in the menubar then goto more functions where you have an option display report name it will give you the report name.
Menubar ---> Quer ---> MoreFunctions ----> Display Reportname.
Goto SE80/SE38-->Report name and add the Codes in the program.

Hi Sunil,
You need to code it in infoset. follow the steps below.
1. Goto SQ02, enter your infoset.
2. Click on "Extras" button(above find button). On the next page you will find a "Code" tab.
3. Declare a constant as space. choose DATA in the drop down for coding section.
4. Choose "Record processing" or if any other appropriate choice from the drop down in the coding section.
5. CHECK EKPO-KNTTP EQ c_space. and write your code here.

How to insert autoincrement record and query it with multiple keys

Hi all,
I am not familiar with BerkeyleyDB, I am now doing a project that needs to insert records and then query it out with multiple keys at later time. Since there is no field that can be distinct primary key, I want to user DbSequence as auto increment primary key to db, and set other index keys as secondary db, then using join cursor to do query with multiple keys.
I don't know how to use DbSequence, can anyone direct me to a example of using DbSequence as auto increment primary key?

How to change code in SAP Query

Hi Experts !!
In SAP QUERY I am getting the PO with all delivey dates & deliveried Qty but I have to select only single PO with latest delivery date & qty. If there r more than one record for latest delivery date than deliveried QTY must be sum of all QTY (for the latest delivery date). for example :
this is coming
Po                delivery date                 qty
10001         30.06.2009                   4
10001         30.06.2009                   5
10001         01.05.2009                   4
we want

I have the same problem as the OP. I need to get rid of the duplicates and have all sumarized in just one row. I was thinking about this same solution, but when I add code to the END-OF-SELECTION event, this doesn't appears anywhere (but if I add code to any calculated field, yes).
And the problem of the quoted message. I tried using field-symbols but I have errors saying that it's nos a valid table, etc...

My just-finished site will depend on newletters & opt-in subscribers, & I've started with one of those email managers (Campaigner.com). Uploaded my iweb-made Contact Us page locally onto my browser & it still comes out as their html gibberish.
Was told by their support "You have to insert this coding in the **coding version of your application.** (??) I tested it and it works fine. Where did you insert it?"
iWeb seems to have no "code box" where you can add the code.
But. I found this conversation where they're discussing the same iWeb problem.

Hi,
This thing you can achieve by using the Code Template . If you are using New ABAP editor you can in the bottom right side after the scrolling bar. Click on that add the code you need to insert .

How to insert a query into a NEW workbook ?

Could some one tell me how to insert a query into a new workbook? i am trying to run query in NW2004S BEx Query Designer, which always open the query on web when executed. i want to run the query in NW2004S BEx Query Designer and want it to open the result in Excell.
If i am not wrong then to do the same, i need to embed the query into workbook. Correct me if i am wrong. If i am right then plzz tell me the steps to insert the query into workbook.

If you open the BEx Query Designer from the desktop, you cannot execute the query directly to the BEx Analyzer for an Excel view. You can only execute it directly to the Web. This is true for the SAP BW 3.x version as well as the SAP NetWeaver 2004s version.
If you open the BEx Query Designer from within BEx Analyzer, once you select (or create) your query, you will have a green check mark icon that will then allow you to deploy the query directly to the BEx Analyzer for the Excel view.
However, this would only make sense if you are creating or modifying the query. If not, you would simply open BEx Analyzer and use the Open Query option in this tool to see your query in an Excel format, as has been previously suggested by the other respondents to this posting.

How to insert record inside the internal table in below code

My requirement is to find the sub-total and need to insert in between the internal table.
You can see the output ....where I want the sub-total F2 when 1 & 2 combindely , 3 , 4& 5 combindely .Please check it and let me know is it possible
when i am using modification it is not creating extra row inside the table instead it is modifying one row and putting the total there.
For ex: the origianl output is
F1   F2       F3
A      1          1
B      1          1
F      2          1
D      3          1
E      4          1
C      5          1
We want to display all the total of f2 of 1-2 , 3 , 4-5
so expcected output is
F1   F2       F3
A      1          1
B      1          1
F      2          1
     *              3 ->This is the sub-total of 1& 2 of f2
D      3          1
        *           1 ->this is the sub-total of 3
E      4          1
C      5          1
      *             2 -> this is the sub-total of 4 & 5
= space
But coming output is
A 1          1
B 1          1
*             3 -> it is modifying the F row and inserting the total .Total is comong correct but is shoule insert instead of modifying the record!!

Please help how to insert the row total at the end of the chage of field

How to insert some strings in a query with the clausule 'in' in a procedure

Hello fellows.
Do you know how to insert some strings in a query with the clausule 'in' in a procedure (with a variable)?.
I tell us my problem with an example:
I want to use this select but introducing a variable instead the 'value1', 'value2':
select * from table1 where field1 in ('value1', 'value2');
if I declare the variable var1 as:
TC_VAR1 CONSTANT VARCHAR2(50) := '''value1'',''value2'''
and I use it as:
select * from table1 where field1 in (TC_VAR1);
It doesn't work because Oracle takes TC_VAR1 as an all string. I think Oracle takes it as this:
select * from table1 where field1 in ('value1, value2');
If I use the data type TABLE, I don't know how to use well:
TYPE varchar2_table IS TABLE OF VARCHAR2(10);
tb_var varchar2_table;
select * from table1 where field1 in (tb_var);->It returns an error and there ins't an method that it returns all values.
A curious case is that if I have a sql script (for example script1.sh) with this query:
select * fromt able1 where field1 in (&1)
and I invoke this script as
script1.sh "'''value1'',''value2'''". It works
