How to install Google calendar etc on N95 please!

Hello
After months of deliberating and having a quick disappointed look at ovi I would really like to change my daily calendar, task list etc to Google.
I currently have the following arrangement: N95 8Gb, laptop with Outlook 2002. My calendar & task list & contacts are kept on outlook on the laptop, and I then sync with the phone via bluetooth. Now that we have another laptop in the house I would like my main calendar to be internet based instead of pc based. I use Gmail and therefore think I would be happy to access all of info through google. I believe I should be able to achieve the sync between the N95 and google calendar, however I am rather worried that this may become a long and painful process before I can achieve anything.
So......
I was wondering if anyone has a fool-proof step-by-step method with which they have achieved the above?
Sorry about waffling on.... would really appreciate a good solution.

Google discontinued its toolbar for Firefox a long time ago (around the time of Firefox 5). Is that what you meant, or was it a different button?

I want to sync or import my Outlook 2010 calendar to my Droid. I believe I have to first import/sync my Outlook calendar to Google Calendar on my desktop, which I've done. What I cannot figure out is how to find Google Calendar on my Droid.
I assume the default Calendar app is not the same thing as Google Calendar? How do I put Google Calendar on my Droid, then transfer the data from my desktop Google calendar to my Droid Google calendar? I looked and searched in the Play Store on my Droid and could not find Google Calendar there.

Thanks very much. Part of my problem was having more than one Google/Gmail account...had to sift through those to pick the right one.
I found that I could first save my Outlook calendar as a file on my desktop, then simply browse for that file name and import it into Google Calendar. There were other directions I found on how to move Outlook calendar to Google Calendar, but that was easiest.

Anyone has ideas how to create Google Calendar as an embedded web applet in CRM On Demand? I would like to create an embedded web applet to show up the user's Google Calendar. I may have users Google credentials saved in its user record of CRMOD.

This can be enabled with InBound SSO implementation where your CRMOD Credentials and Google Apps Credentials are mapped.
if it would help consider reading something on OpenSSO on SAML for this requirement

How to sync Google Calendar 's subscribed calendars to iPhone?

I've subscribed to several country calendars in Google Calendar. I also managed to see these subscribed calendars in iCal, by setting my Google account in the iCal Account Preference. However, when I sync to my iPhone 4, I cannot see those subscribed calendars on my iPhone 4. Everything else is okay. I've tried both CalDAV & Gmail sync. Neither one works. Could anyone help me on this? Many thanks in advance.

Hi Gary,
I was having the same problem and was looking for a solution which brought me here. And about 30 seconds after reading your post I found a solution by mistake. Here's what I did.
1) I set up my device like explained here.

Which I believe you've already done.
2) Then I went to my Google calendar and went to the subscribed calendar settings and copied the ical calendar address and sent it to myself.
3) I clicked on the address in my email account on my computer, and it asked me where I wanted the subscription in iCal, so I picked the account I had linked to Google Calendar through the setup in step 1.
4) That was it.
It now is part of my Google Calendar and no longer a subscription and shows up everywhere. Only problem is I can't change the color because it is now merged with my google calendar, but it beats having to subscribe to it on all my devices. Which is another option.

I will have to migrate to the new MobileMe in May and I understand that my iCal calendar (as a local calendar) will no longer sync via MobileMe. How to sync Google calendar busy/free-time with iOS calendars?

A friend and I want to share our busy / free-time. We've successfully set it up and sharing, and sharing works fine on our PC / Mac laptops via Outlook and iCal respectively. Same goes for webcal. While my friend who has an Android phone can also see my busy / free-time on his phone's calendar application, I cannot select his calendar for syncing to my iOS calendar via "https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect". When my friend's calendar security is set to "share busy / free-time only", his calendar shows up on my calendar list on the syncselect page as not available for syncing. When he shares his detailed view, I can select it for syncing.
Is there a work-around so that I can see his busy / free-time on my iOS calendar just like I see it on my Mac iCal and on web-calendar? Appreciate input here ... Thank you.

I'm afraid that isn't possible. iCloud will not sync your Google calendar and Google will not sync your iCloud calendar. They are entirely separate systems. If you want to sync your Google calendar with your devices, add your Gmail account to them (Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>Google) and turn Calendar on. Your Google calendar will then appear alongside your iCloud calendar in the Calendars app on your devices.

Heck, I had posts censored and/or deleted for talking about how I was requesting an enhancement (global ringtones for all alert and notification functions, not just calls and clock). Against policy! Please, if you can get alerts across the board with a jailbroken phone (and you can), why will Apple not implement it on the iPhone, and why can't we talk about it. I don't want to unlock my phone, or run stolen apps, or tether it, or anything else. I just want more than a beep or a glass sound when I get a text or an email or a calendar alert. I've been using Apple since 8, and started using X when it was 10.0.3. This used to be a nice place to come for help and to help. Now, I rarely bother. And Apple's policies vis a vis the iPhone just seem... draconian. I can overclock my iMac or theme it or whatever else I want, but boy, an iPhone is sacrosanct. It's a phone, make it work at least as good as my old RAZR or my wife's cheap Nokia.
