How to intergrate OBIEE with EBS

Hello all,
How can i integrate OBIEE with EBS?
I want to run a concurrent program in EBS which generates .xml file and i want to use this .xml file in OBIEE and generate .pdf file.
So is there any way that i can automate this process.

Integrating OBIEE with EBS -   not logged in to the Oracle BI Server

I have followed Metalink Note 552735.1 to integrate OBIEE with EBS R12. In addition I followed the forum threads such as
OBIA 7.9.5 EBS Integration Not Logged On nQSError 43001 Authentication Fail
on additional steps.
After launching the url from EBS, I get the following error message:

My saw0log.log file is showing the following message. My BI Server is up and I'm not sure where I need to change the localhost in my config files.

We resolved the localhost issue but still receive the not logged in to the Oracle BI Server message.

If you are talking about FDM then you will need the components from "Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Fusion Edition Downloads"
You will also need the foundation pieces :-
Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Installer, Fusion Edition Release 11.1.1.3.0
Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Foundation Services Release 11.1.1.3.0
Plus any other Hyperion products you are going to use.

How to Intergrate Policy with applet

hi my name is easan. I created an applet which reads and writes to a file but i had problems accessing the file. I solved that by granting read and write permission to the file by creating a policy. I can run the applet in the appletviewer using this line
c:\>appletviewer -J-Djava.security.policy=<policyname> applet.html
I would like to know hw to intergrate this policy with my applet so that i can run my applet from a browser.
I would appreciated any help from anyone..... thank you in advance.

It's not possible to integrate policy file together with applet. If you want to perform these dangerous operation (read,write) from applet, you have to sign applet's jar file. And in applet's code you have to use AccessController.doPrivileged(PrivilegedAction action) for possibly unsafe parts of code.

assuming installing flex builder plugin and use rads eclipse for it did not work ?
option :
turn on Clasic Update from properties --> general--> capabilities
then you will see another software update under Help which will have anotehr submenu, (I think its called manage components ) or something like that
in there you can manually link flex builder plugin to Rad by clicking add exstension.

How to create a link to come back from OBIEE to EBS

I have successfully integrated OBIEE with EBS.
While clicking on the obiee responsibility, it is taking to Dashboard.
I want to create a link to get back to EBS.
How can I achieve this?
I want to add a home link for this in the main bar.

Error while integrating OBIEE report with EBS using Rich Content Container

I am trying to integrate OBIEE report with EBS using Rich Content Container OAF functionality. I have followed the steps mentioned in oracle Note - Embedding Analytics in Oracle E-Business Suite [ID 974422.1]. When i run my page, the container region comes up with the error message - The requested URL /pls/ghrfpkd2/OracleSSWA.Execute was not found on this server. Can someone please help me with some documents on the steps to integrate OBIEE with EBS using Rich Content Container.

I'm getting the same error on WebSphere 6.1.5. Is there any solution for this?

OBIEE 11G authentication integration with EBS 11 - is it possible?

Hi experts,
My OBIEE 11.1.1.5 is installed on Linux 64 bit machine.
I've thoroughly performed all the action listed in the guide, but I'm getting the famous 'You are not logged in' message.
Has anybody succeeded to enable security integration between OBIEE 11 and EBS 11?

I've heard from some people that there's a bug in OBIEE 11.1.1.5 that prevents integration of OBIEE 11 security with EBS 11.
I'm trying to find anyone who actually succeeded to get the thing done.
I used the DeliverBI document as well as the official guide.
Is there any way to "debug" my settings? How can I know - what's wrong?

OBIEE Integration With EBS 11.5.10.2

I have installed BIAPPS (7.9.6.1) (components installed are 2 11g DBs (one is OLTP and other is OLAP) on RHEL 4, Oracle Application Server 10g, Informatica Power Center , DAC and OBIEE). After that i need to integrate the OBIEE with Oracle EBS. I have installed 11.5.10.2. I upgraded the database to 10g R2 and applied patch ATG 6 (Pre reqs of Integration).
Steps Which i have done for integration:-
I installed Financial module in Biapps. Made changes to that pre built rpd ie:OracleBIAnalyticsApps.rpd using Administrations tool. I have created datasource for EBS and given in connection pool. Similarly in dataware house connection pool also. When i test from Administration tool means Init Block > EBS Security context > Edit datasource. When i click on test the datasource i am getting error NQ_SESSION.ICX_SESSION_COOKIE has no value definition.
I copied that rpd linux box where my OBIEE server resides and changed the rpd name in NQSConfig.INI. I added the oracle_home and tnsadmin etc in user.sh file. I added the dsn names which i created the same in windows in odbc.ini file. But NQServer.log says*

i am sure i changed the Oracle EBS OLTP -> connection pool, i changed to OCI10g/11g. How /u01/OBIEE/BI/OracleBI/server/Bin/libnqsdbgatewayoci8i.so. Check if 'Oracle OCI 8.x' database client is installed is coming. I dont know.

What all things i need to change in the rpd using Admin tool. i am using rpd of BIAPPS ie; OracleBIAnalyticsApps.rpd which has created after installing the biapps financial module.

User authentication when OBIEE is integrated with EBS

Hello guys
I have a conceptual question about how OBIEE authentication is performed in an integrated environment with EBS? If the goal is to have users access to OBIEE based on their roles given in EBS, what kind of authentication is it needed for such implementation?
Do I import users and group from EBS database or LDAP server (if its available)? what kind of session variable and ini block is created if I want to do data level secuirty based on user groups?
Please give some basic idea and guidelines on topic

Bi suite has 3 ways of making-having user-groups...
1.manual
2.ldap
3.from external database

I have installed BI Application 7.9.4 version and Oracle EBS 11.5.10 versions.Want to know the process how we will do the integration of BI Appliaction with EBS.
I have do something following the "Oracle® Business Intelligence Applications
Installation and Configuration Guide Version 7.9.4 ",
now I want to know how the BIEE acess the EBS data, and what should I do.
Is there any other doucument about it?
