Here i am trying to invoke display template using url. But i am getting error .
i am using the following URL

I will agree with Martin on first you should take a step back and see the business drive for the use case but stil if you have to do it below is my thought to fire disable/enable task.
1.Insteed of firing a particular enable/disable task its better to enable/disable the resource.
2.To enable/disable the object instance you can use enableAppForUser()/disableAppForUser() method of tcUserOperationIntf which will in end will fire enable and disable task.
To kick of update task I will suggest to update the form field usingsetProcessFormData() method if tcFormInstanceOperationsIntf which will in result will kick of the update task.

Supply functions are implemented as methods of type

I'm not 100% clear on what the requirement is from the description, however it does sound like you are making things unnecessarily complicated.
If you want permanent/ID-independent links then use application and page aliases.
so here we used to display the url like this: <tt>{noformat}http://81.131.254.171:8080/apex/f?p=122{noformat}</tt>

Thanks for the suggestion. I've been playing around with some of the classes of the java.net package and java.io
Using the URL class i can get the content of the data from a STATIC page and output that response to file so that is does not display to the client broswer.
But this only works if the URL i give points to a static html page.
So the problem i'm getting is if i'm righting in arguments in the URL, this means that server needs to process the arguments i give and its sends back a dynamic result. Because its dynamic the URL class can not handle this and throws me an exception everytime :(
Have u ever tried to do some things like this?

I referred PLKO got the Task List Type (PLNTY), Group(PLNNR), Group Counter(PLNAL), Plant(werks).
I passed this in to PLPO, The problem in PLPO is we dont have the distinguishing field Group Counter(PLNAL), so I am getting all the ARBID including both alternates.
How to get the ARBID with respect to Groupcounter 1 alone.
If a get the ARBID , I can get the ARBPL from CRHD.

Pass PLNNR & PLNAL in PLAS and get PLNNR & PLNKN.
Then pass these into PLPO.
