How to know if an transaction is in display mode or change mode

Hi,
I have to set an information message if any transaction is in display mode and an error message if it is in change mode for a particular condition.
How would I know programmatically that it is in display mode or change mode for a screen?

You sure are a direct collegue and have access to his problem or you are indeed the successor of Uri Geller.
I never would have guessed he's using SET_DATA in a BADI.

  • How to make a field as display in a change mode

    hi gurus
is there any option to reduce the accessblity of a particular field  has to be set as deactive mode.
    Eg
    In tcode XD02
I have to deactive any one of the field in this.
please explain is there any chance to do ?
    regards
    Maithrayan

Transaction variants simplify transaction flow by:
    Inserting default values in fields
Hiding and changing the ready for input status of fields
Hiding and changing the attributes of table control columns
    Hiding individual menu functions
    Hiding entire screens
Transaction variants are actually made up of a series of screen variants. The field values and field attributes for each screen in a transaction variant are stored in screen variants. Each variant is assigned to a transaction. Variants may, however, contain values for screens in multiple transactions, if transaction flow makes this necessary. The transaction the variant is assigned to serves as its initial transaction, whenever you start the variant.
Both client-specific and cross-client transaction variants exist. Screen variants are always cross-client; they may, however, be assigned to a client-specific transaction.
A specific namespace has been designated for cross-client transaction variants and screen variants and they are both automatically attached to the Change and Transport System. Client-specific transaction variants can be transported manually.
Transaction and screen variants may be created for all dialog and reporting transactions. However, there are certain restrictions that apply to their use, depending on how their corresponding transactions have been realized internally.
Transaction variants may not be created for transactions already containing pre-defined parameters (parameter transactions and variant transactions).
You can only create transaction variants for dialog transactions and reporting transactions.
Only "normal" screens, dialog boxes, and subscreens can be included in the variant.
Screen variants are automatically created anytime you create a transaction variant.
To create a transaction variant, proceed as follows:
Choose Tools ® AcceleratedSAP ® Personalization to call the transaction variant maintenance transaction, or use transaction code SHD0.
Enter the name of the transaction and the transaction variant on the initial screen.
The system creates a cross-client transaction variant. If you want to create a client-specific transaction variant, choose Goto ® Client-specific transaction variants to branch the client-specific transaction variant maintenance transaction.
Client-specific transaction variants only exist in the client in which they are created. The field contents of the transaction variant must be available in this client. Cross-client transaction variants are available throughout the system, regardless of the client currently being used. The field contents of these transaction variants must be available in all clients.
Choose Create to create a variant.
The system calls the application transaction that you want to create a variant for.
Enter the values you want to use in the input fields. Each time an action is completed (choosing for example), a dialog box appears listing the fields of the current screen with their current values. The kind of dialog box called depends on the kind of screen currently being processed ( see Requirements).
Choose the options you want. The following options checkboxes can be selected: Adopt field values
Saves the field values you have inserted on the current screen
Resetting this field (deselecting it) allows you to delete all values saved for this screen in your transaction variant.
    Do not display screen
    Hides screen
This is only possible if settings are copied to your variant (Adopt field values).
    With contents
Field contents are saved with it
    Output only
Field is no longer ready for input (display mode only)
    Invisible
    Hides field
    Mandatory
    Required field
You may or may not be able to select each of these checkboxes for every field depending on the field's type (see Requirements).
Enter a screen variant name and corresponding short text if necessary.
Screen variants are created automatically for each screen where values have been saved (copied). Enter screen variant names in the Name of screen variant: field. These names must be unique. If the system is able to find a unique name for a screen variant, it is automatically inserted into this field. (The convention reads as follows: .)
The following pushbuttons are available from this dialog box:
    Cancel
Displays current application transaction screen again. Here you can make changes to your settings.
    Deactivate menu functions
Deactivates menu functions in an additional dialog box.
    GuiXT
Allows user to edit a GuiXT script for the current screen ( GuiXT).
    Exit and Save
    Exits and saves application transaction.
Choose the function Continue to proceed to the next screen in your application transaction. Repeat steps 3-5 for all further screens in the transaction.
When you have reached the last screen of the transaction and inserted the values you want to insert, choose Exit and Save. The system exits the application transaction and saves your entries. A list appears containing all of the screens in the application transaction that you want to save entries for (that is, all screens for which screen variants will be created).
You can also branch to this list using the Change values function during the function selection process.
Enter a short text for your transaction variant.
Display settings can be changed as needed from this list in the future. Settings that require information at application transaction runtime (field values, table control columns) cannot be changed from this list.
Choose Save. The system saves your transaction variant and the corresponding screen variants. The Workbench Organizer dialog box is displayed for the transaction variant and for each screen variant. Use it to assign each of these objects to a package.
    Deleting Preassigned Values
You can delete all of the values you assigned to fields of a single screen in a transaction variant by resetting (deselecting) the Adopt field values checkbox. This deletes the screen from your variant, even those entries that were transferred to the variant during previous processing.
If a screen variant has already been created for this screen, then the system simply deletes the screen variant's transaction variant assignment; the screen variant itself is not actually deleted.
Individual fields can be deleted from transaction and screen variants by resetting (deselecting) their corresponding checkboxes.

  • How to know them the size of screen (display) noki...

Hi, Which are dimension height/width not resolution & diagonal mobile nokia ? ex: N95-8gb, N81-8gb, 6210 Navigator etc.
    ex. N95 size is 40 x 53 mm
    many thanks !

Nokia only uses the industry standard diagonal screen measurements, in inches, in it's specs. They do not list the screen sizes in the way that you require.
To find out the exact width x height you will have to measure the devices, or ask other people to measure them for you.
All devices that use 2.4" screens will measure the same, as will other devices that use the same screen.

    hi all,

Uploading point in case of issue: While editing the MIGO latter,  this field needs to be edited.
Goods recipient in case of receipt: While editing the MIGO latter,    this field needs to be edited.

    hi thanks for quick replay,
my requirement is, supose i post a material doc through migo in 101 mtype, in item detail, where tab i have given the good reciepitant and unloading point. but while i want to change that material doc in mb02, i saw unloading point is in change mode, but good reciepitant field is in display mode. my client requirement is to change that field. so for change that field, the field should be in change mode, so thats what i want.

  • How to get Lightroom 5.7 to display in full screen mode on Mac Yosemite?

How can I get Lightroom 5.7 to display in full screen mode in Yosemite (Mac OS X 10.10.1)?
Of course, that old full screen button at the top right of the window is gone now in Yosemite, but the third button in the top left of the window (the one that used to be green) should perform the same function, but it doesn't -- it just resizes the window, which was the default behaviour in Mavericks.
And there's no "Enter Full Screen" command under the View menu, either.
Seems pretty essential that a photo editing app would have a full screen view to remove all the clutter. How do you do it in Lightroom?

Shift+F Toggles the different screen modes for the Lightroom application, pressing F Takes an individual image into full-screen mode.

  • HT1918 How can I see ALL transaction history in my account.  Specifically, I would like to see the gift cards I have redeemed for my account.  I know I have over $200 in my account but it is not showing the balance anywhere.  Any ideas?!?!?

How can I see ALL transaction history in my account.  Specifically, I want to review the gift cards I have redeemed but the amounts are not showing up in my account.  I know I have over $200 in my account and I am unable to access it.  The site wants me to pay by credit card and I don't want to do that.  Any ideas how I can recover the money in my account?

You can only view your account's purchase history, you can't view a history of card redemptions.
My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my iOS devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to).
To view your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
You've tried logging out and back into your account to see if your balance then shows ? If not, and you can't see where it might have been spent, then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • How I know if there notification for each transaction in each module

    dear Consultant's
How I know if there notification for each transaction in each module and if it's enabled or need to enable
    For example:
    In AP:
When I create, transaction is there any notification send
When I create payment term is there any notification send
How I know what the standard oracle notification create for each module
    thanks for caring

I can't believe there's still no proper answers for this question . I'm now struggling with the same issue as the original asker. It seems that at least with the newest version of Nokia Drive you can delete the maps saved (without the need to remove the whole application). You can do that even one by one. But the question is: "If I delete a particular map and load it again, will that be the newest version of the map? Or is there still a need to delete the whole Nokia Drive application, as said in the instructions linked earlier in this thread?"
Anyway, even deleting one map and loading it again sounds very frustrating without knowing if there actually is a new update or not. We should know exactly which is the current version of each map and wheter there is a newer version.
Many things are gone worse after Symbian. On Symbian phones, you could easily update all the maps with Ovi Suite. Now, with Zune, you can update the firmware, but not the maps which was a disappointment to me. I don't have WiFi connection, so, for me, it would be cheaper to download huge amounts of data with my computer's wired connection (with my phone connected to it via USB). Don't want to waste my monthly data limit to download again possibly the same map versions just to be sure...
But please, moderators and others, give us some comments and answers...

    Hi,
1.We cann't find the forms associated with a specific transaction.
2.But,based on requirement we can go for the form selection.
3.Suppose in account payable and receivable , we have different forms like customer statement, Dunning and Chek form etc.
4.The functional people can find the form name in SPRO and give the details of the requirement.
5.If u have the output type or formname u can go for the TNAPR and  TTXFP tables and u can search for the respect object.

  • How to know whether there is any change in a transaction in ic webclient

    Hi,
There is one activity screen in the ic web(CRM 5.0). There is two button(Change, Save , Sendnotification) on that screen.
Sendnotification: if i click this button then it will check whether there is any change done using  below logic and will send the noti..:
    DATA:lv_transaction   TYPE REF TO if_bol_transaction_context,
    lv_entity       TYPE REF TO cl_crm_bol_entity.
    lv_transaction = lv_btorder->get_transaction( ).
          IF lv_transaction->check_save_needed( ) EQ 'X'.
then save the changes  and send notification
          ENDIF.
    Question:
Now i clicked on the Change button and did some changes. Then saved.
Then again i did some changes, now i clicked on the Sendnotification button. It sent an notification.
Now i again clicked on the Sendnotification(this time i didnt do any changes), it sent the same notification again.
So how to know that  actully changes done or not & how to write code if there is no changes?
During debugging , i found that the method check_save_needed always returns 'X' as long as i am in the chage mode of that activity. As a result if i dont do any changes also in the activity and click the button , it sends the notification.
please suggest how to restrict  using coding........
    Thanks

  • How to know the type of transactions by seeing the data in IP_IN_QUEUE

    Hi B2B gurus,
I am Using EDI X12 over internet. Our suppliers processing inbound transactions to us,After receiving from B2B its storing in IP_IN_Queue, The documents which we are sending it storing in IP_OUT_Queue.
We want to see the data in in IP_IN_QUEUE, Could you please tell in which table the data will store, And can we see the payload or can we know actually which transactions by seeing the data in table? Could you please help by giving this information...?
    regards
    srinivas k

As I mentioned earlier view "b2b_instancemessage" has "payload" column which stores the payload of both incoming and outgoing messages.
Below query will return all the rows of this view which has payload -
    select * from b2b_instancemessage where payload is not null;
Remember, it's a BLOB type field so either use a client like PL-SQL Developer or TOAD otherwise write a java client to view the content of this column.
